2. Description of Service

Pastors.ai is an AI-powered platform that helps churches and pastors repurpose sermon content into various ministry resources including:

  • Sermon summaries and transcripts
  • Bible study discussion guides
  • 5-day devotionals
  • Social media clips with captions
  • Embeddable sermon chatbots
  • Branded, shareable sermon pages

3. User Accounts and Eligibility

3.1 Account Requirements

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

3.2 Account Types

  • Free Plan: 4 sermons per month with basic features
  • Pastor Plan: 10 sermons per month with full features ($30/month)
  • Team Plan: 20 sermons per month with full features ($100/month)

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 Permitted Uses

You may use the Service to:

  • Process sermon content for legitimate ministry purposes
  • Generate educational and religious content for your congregation
  • Create resources that support Christian discipleship and spiritual growth
  • Share generated content with your church community

4.2 Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights of others
  • Use the Service for commercial purposes unrelated to ministry
  • Upload inappropriate, offensive, or non-religious content
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or compromise the Service
  • Share account credentials with unauthorized users
  • Use the Service to generate content that contradicts Christian doctrine or promotes harmful ideologies
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

  • You retain ownership of your original sermon content
  • You grant us a limited license to process your content and generate derivative resources
  • You represent that you have the right to use and process all content you upload
  • You are responsible for ensuring uploaded content doesn't infringe third-party rights

5.2 Generated Content

  • You own the AI-generated resources created from your content
  • We retain the right to use aggregated, anonymized data for service improvement
  • Generated content is provided "as-is" and should be reviewed for theological accuracy

5.3 Our Intellectual Property

  • The Service, including AI models, algorithms, and software, is our proprietary technology
  • You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our technology
  • Our trademarks and branding remain our exclusive property

6. YouTube and Third-Party Content

6.1 YouTube Integration

  • By using Pastors.ai, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms)
  • You must own or have permission to process YouTube videos you submit
  • You must comply with YouTube's Terms of Service
  • We are not responsible for YouTube's availability or policies
  • Public YouTube videos may be subject to additional terms from content creators

6.2 Third-Party Services

  • Integration with third-party services is subject to their respective terms
  • We are not responsible for third-party service availability or changes
  • You must comply with all applicable third-party terms

7. Payment Terms

7.1 Subscription Billing

  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance
  • All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified
  • We may change pricing with 30 days' notice to subscribers
  • Failure to pay may result in service suspension or termination

7.2 Free Plan Limitations

  • Free plan usage is limited to 4 sermons per month
  • Free plans may have feature restrictions
  • We reserve the right to modify free plan offerings

8. Privacy and Data Protection

8.1 Data Handling

  • Our collection and use of data is governed by our Privacy Policy
  • We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data
  • You consent to our processing of your content for service provision

8.2 Google API Compliance

  • Our use of Google APIs is governed by Google's API Terms and Privacy Policy
  • We comply with YouTube API Terms of Service
  • YouTube data usage is limited to service functionality

9. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

9.1 Content Accuracy

  • AI-generated content should be reviewed for theological and factual accuracy
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy or appropriateness of generated content
  • You are responsible for reviewing and editing content before use
  • Generated content should align with your church's beliefs and standards

9.2 Theological Review

  • AI-generated Bible studies and devotionals should be reviewed by qualified ministry leaders
  • We are not responsible for theological interpretations made by the AI
  • Generated content is a tool to assist, not replace, pastoral oversight

10. Service Availability and Modifications

10.1 Service Availability

  • We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
  • Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible
  • We are not liable for service interruptions or downtime

10.2 Service Changes

  • We may modify, update, or discontinue features with reasonable notice
  • We may update these Terms with notice to users
  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS
  • WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
  • WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT
  • WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR THIRD-PARTY INTEGRATIONS OR SERVICES

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your infringement of third-party rights
  • Content you upload or generate through the Service

13. Termination

13.1 Termination by You

  • You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings
  • Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease
  • You may download your content before termination

13.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Non-payment of fees
  • Abuse of the Service
  • Legal or regulatory requirements

14. Dispute Resolution

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, excluding conflict of law principles.
