“There's a famous civil war battle that took place just one county over from us, over in Cobb County, called the battle of Kennesaw Mountain. Union soldiers had found themselves stranded there, surrounded by by southerners and and really about ready to quit and give up and to surrender. When there came a message that general Sherman was making a march towards the sea and that he would take a route which would take him immediately by Kennesaw Mountain and that he would come to rescue those soldiers. And so the message was, hold on. General Sherman is coming. I wanna tell you, discouraged friend, I wanna tell you someone who's really about ready to throw in the towel.
