“You don't need to hold on to your salvation because you can't lose that. But you need to hold on to your service because if you don't continue to serve Christ, you don't continue to give everything that you have in pursuit of Christ, then you don't receive the crowns that you will lay at the feet of Jesus in worship in heaven. So hold on to your crown. A patient wait.”

“God loves a church that loves the bible. And god loves a people that follow the bible. He commended them for being a willing church, but he commended them for being a word church. You have kept my word. And then the third thing he commended them for was for being a working church. It says, you have not denied my name. Literally, what that means is you have been my witness in the marketplace. When people ask who you were, you responded and says, I'm a follower of Jesus Christ. You have not denied my name. And because you have been a willing church and a word church and a working church, I'm presenting before you an open door.”

“There's a famous civil war battle that took place just one county over from us, over in Cobb County, called the battle of Kennesaw Mountain. Union soldiers had found themselves stranded there, surrounded by by southerners and and really about ready to quit and give up and to surrender. When there came a message that general Sherman was making a march towards the sea and that he would take a route which would take him immediately by Kennesaw Mountain and that he would come to rescue those soldiers. And so the message was, hold on. General Sherman is coming. I wanna tell you, discouraged friend, I wanna tell you someone who's really about ready to throw in the towel. I wanna tell you somebody's about ready to give up and on your marriage or give up on your job or give up on your family or give up on your dreams. Hold on. Jesus is coming.”
