We're we're pretty regular, aren't we? But are we as regular about being fed spiritually?”

If we have faith and belief in God, there is going to be things that are shown through that. If I truly trust in God, it's going to change how I live my life. It's obedience to what we have believed. It's obedience to what we have had faith in.”

Jesus is not condemning her for her serving. God wants us to serve him. That's not what he's doing. He is telling her that that's not going to bring you real satisfaction. Some people substitute intimacy with God, they substitute that with serving, and they think the busier they are, that makes them more of a committed Christian. That's not true. Lost people can be very busy in a church, but lost people cannot be intimate with Christ.”

I wish I had a whole lot more insight into the ways of God and the things of God, but there is one thing that we can stand on tonight. We may not always understand, but God is always faithful. He's always faithful.”

“And so an unfaithful person creates pain for everyone who is depending on them, and they can't be dependent upon when when pressure comes and when things are difficult. And so we have to be honest with ourself that we can't be we can't claim to be full of the spirit while we continue to break our commitments that we make to people without concern and without regard, and we just let it be for what it is. We have a responsibility to be faithful. Amen? If we are going to walk after the spirit, if we are going to to be like Christ, then we've gotta keep our commitments. That doesn't mean perfection. That doesn't mean that we always get it right, but it is it is a heart that is committed to remaining true to what we've said and committed to, to being repentant when we don't make that commitment.”
