#BornAnewInChrist
“God is not trying to make you a better version of you. He's trying to destroy your flesh and make you like him. You don't need a better version of you. You need the old you to die and the new you to come alive in Christ Jesus. He's not trying to listen to me. Jesus doesn't put a mask on us. That's called a facade. Jesus doesn't cover us. He forgives us. He cleanses us. He gives us a new heart, a spirit that understands the things of God, a mind to be able to comprehend, and the Holy Spirit is. This is the power of God right here to be able to walk these things out.”

#ReadTheWord
“This is the most simple statement I've ever made, but it's the truest. You can't be a disciple of Jesus if you don't read the Bible. It's impossible. You might say, I can't read. Well, then listen to it. Get somebody else to read it for you. There there is no reason in the day and age we live in and the and the communication ability that we have and all the technology we have, there's no reason you can't have the word of God in your mind and heart. So you cannot, hear me, you cannot follow Jesus if you don't know where he's going. You if you don't know what he says, if you don't know what he how he says to live, how he says to raise your kids, how he says to treat your wife, how he says to treat your husband, how he says to interact in the business world, everything we do is written down in the word of God. And he says, disciples, true disciples are faithful to my teaching. What do mean? Faithful to the word.”

#FaithThroughObedience
“Just put it simply. If you believe, then you obey, you have eternal life. That's proof. Belief proof of belief is obedience. The outcome of that is your salvation and eternity. If you say you believe but you have no works to follow it, James says, a person that says they have works but listen, I'm excuse me. James says, the person says, they have faith but there's no works to accompany it. That faith is not saving faith. You can't say I'm of Jesus and not act like him. You can't say I'm of Jesus and not follow him. You can't say I'm of Jesus and not do what he says to do.”

#KnowJesusKnowFreedom
“When you don't know him, you don't love him. When you don't love him, you don't listen to him. You don't love him, you can't hear him. When you can't hear him or listen, you don't obey him. It just proves once again you don't know him. You're set free to follow Jesus. And you follow Jesus because you've been set free. Abraham was a righteous man. He was the father of many the righteous to come. But Abraham in Hebrews 11 was saved. It says, by faith looking forward to the one to come. You're not saved by what you do. You're saved by who you know. And who you know dictates what you do.”
