Keys to Achieving Divine Settlement in Faith

Devotional

Day 1: Faith as the Foundation of Divine Settlement

Our journey towards divine settlement begins with unwavering faith in Christ. This faith is not merely a belief but a dynamic force that shapes our lives and actions. It is the foundation upon which our spiritual growth and divine settlement are built. Without faith, we risk losing control to the adversary, as faith is the source of our impact and productivity. As John 7:38 illustrates, belief in Christ allows rivers of living water to flow from within us, symbolizing a life of abundance and influence. To experience divine settlement, we must nurture and strengthen our faith, trusting in God's promises and aligning our lives with His will. [30:45]

Hebrews 11:6 (ESV): "And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him."

Reflection: In what specific area of your life do you need to exercise more faith in God's promises today?

Day 2: Diligence Overcomes Laziness

Avoiding laziness is crucial for achieving divine settlement. Laziness leads to poverty, both spiritually and materially, while diligence paves the way to wealth and fulfillment. God's promises require our active participation, and we must be intentional with our actions, setting clear goals and working diligently towards them. Trusting that God will bless our efforts, we are called to make the most of our time and resources. By embracing a diligent lifestyle, we align ourselves with God's plan and open the door to His blessings. [32:33]

Proverbs 12:24 (ESV): "The hand of the diligent will rule, while the slothful will be put to forced labor."

Reflection: What is one practical step you can take today to replace a lazy habit with a diligent one?

Day 3: The Power of Forgiveness

Forgiveness is essential for maintaining a healthy relationship with God and receiving His blessings. Unforgiveness can block our prayers and hinder our spiritual growth. It is not merely a suggestion but a command that ensures our prayers are heard and our relationship with God remains intact. Holding onto grudges harms us both spiritually and physically. By choosing to forgive, we release ourselves from the burden of bitterness and open our hearts to God's healing and grace. [45:14]

Ephesians 4:31-32 (ESV): "Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you."

Reflection: Who is someone you need to forgive today, and how can you begin the process of extending forgiveness to them?

Day 4: Pursuing Peace and Holiness

Peace and holiness are vital for experiencing God's presence and blessings in our lives. A heart at peace brings life and health to the body, while envy and bitterness lead to spiritual and physical decay. Pursuing peace with others and holiness in our lives allows us to see God's hand at work. By cultivating a peaceful and holy lifestyle, we create an environment where God's blessings can flourish, and we can experience His divine settlement. [56:10]

Hebrews 12:14 (ESV): "Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord."

Reflection: What is one relationship in your life where you need to pursue peace, and what steps can you take to foster that peace today?

Day 5: Trusting in God's Timing and Will

Trusting in God's timing and will is essential, even when faced with challenges. Like Joseph, we must allow God's will to play out in our lives, knowing that He has a greater plan and purpose for us. By surrendering to God's timing, we demonstrate our faith and trust in His sovereignty. This trust enables us to navigate life's uncertainties with confidence, knowing that God is working all things together for our good and His glory. [01:08:18]

Ecclesiastes 3:11 (ESV): "He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end."

Reflection: What is one area of your life where you need to trust God's timing more fully, and how can you practice patience in that area today?

Sermon Summary

In today's gathering, we explored the theme of "Do's and Don'ts for Your Divine Settlement." As we journey through this year, which we have declared as our year of divine settlement, it is crucial to understand that this is not a passive process. We have responsibilities and actions to take to align ourselves with God's promises. Two certainties remain: the devil is still on the loose, but God remains sovereign. Our victory is assured as long as we remain on the Lord's side and adhere to His guidance.

One of the foundational elements for divine settlement is unwavering faith in Christ. Our faith is the bedrock upon which our divine settlement is built. Without it, we risk allowing the devil to gain control. As John 7:38 reminds us, belief in Christ leads to a life of impact and productivity, symbolized by rivers of living water flowing from within us.

Another critical aspect is avoiding laziness and making the most of our time. God's promises require our active participation. Laziness leads to poverty, while diligence leads to wealth and fulfillment. We must be intentional with our actions, have clear goals, and work diligently towards them, trusting that God will bless our efforts.

Furthermore, we must rid ourselves of unforgiveness and bitterness. These emotions can block our blessings and hinder our relationship with God. Forgiveness is not just a suggestion but a command that ensures our prayers are heard and our relationship with God remains intact. Holding onto grudges only harms us, both spiritually and physically.

Lastly, we are encouraged to pursue peace and holiness. Peace with others and holiness in our lives are essential for seeing God's hand at work. A heart at peace brings life and health to the body, while envy and bitterness can lead to spiritual and physical decay.

As we strive for divine settlement, let us hold fast to our faith, work diligently, forgive freely, and pursue peace with all.

Thank you. Thank you. Father, God is good. You are all welcome to the house of the living God. Amen.

If someone has a testimony to bless God and anybody else with a testimony, praise God. I also want to thank God for my life and thank God for all of you as well, amen, that helped me to celebrate my birthday last weekend. God bless all of you, God replenish you, and God meet you at every point of need, amen.

We thank God for another day like this in His presence. How many of you are happy to be in the house of the living God? The stuff He said, I was not, I went and said the Lord, amen.

Today's message I have titled "Do's and Don'ts for Your Divine Settlement," amen. Do's and don'ts for your divine settlement. We know we say this year is our year of divine settlement, but we must know some of the things we need to do and not do in order for us to have our divine settlement. Because it's not something that will just happen magically or automatically like that. We have a responsibility, we have a duty, we have things that we need to do on our own. Praise the Lord.

So I'm going to be teaching or sharing this message with us. If we don't finish, we'll continue next week, and then we follow because I want God to divinely settle you. I am believing God to divinely settle me also, and I believe in God for divine settlement as a church, amen. We will be divinely settled in the name of Jesus.

But before I get into that message, there are two things I want to make you aware of. There are some things I want to make you aware of. Two things are certain, amen.

Number one is that the devil remains on the loose. Tell somebody, "The devil remains on the loose." So yes, it's our year of divine settlement, but we should not lose sight of the fact that the devil is still on the loose. The devil is still on the loose, praise the Lord. I said what? The devil is still on the loose.

And then number two, God remains God. These two are certain. So as you go through the year, know that the devil is still on the loose. However, God remains God. Praise the Lord.

So the good thing is that we are on the Lord's side. God is on our side. And so even though the devil is on the loose, we can be rest assured that victory is ours, success will be ours, breakthrough will be ours. It's just that we need to know what to do and not to do so that we can have our divine settlement. Praise the Lord.

Last week, you know, we had the message on having faith as one of the things that we need to possess in order to have our divine settlement. So I don't want to go too much on that one, amen, because we had a message on that. But I want to add that don't be uncertain about your faith in Christ, amen.

Don't let anything make you doubt your faith in Christ because your divine settlement hinges on that, amen. Once you lose your faith in Christ, then you are on the loose. You are on the verge of allowing the devil to be in control. So no matter what happens, don't be uncertain about your faith in Christ.

John chapter 7, verse 38 reads, "Whoever believes in me, as the scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living waters." Amen. That he who believes in me, who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on me, as the scripture has said, amen, from his innermost being will flow continually rivers of living waters. It means you are going to be impactful. You are going to be productive. You are going to be fruitful. You are going to be useful. Praise the Lord.

Out of you will flow rivers of living waters. So no matter what happens, don't lose your faith in Christ. Tell somebody, "Don't lose your faith in Christ." It is very important for your divine settlement, amen. Don't lose your faith in Christ.

So that is point number one. Point number two: Avoid laziness and use your time well. Tell somebody, "Avoid laziness and use your time well." Praise the Lord. It is very important.

You know, the promises of God are there. But the promises of God don't just happen, amen. You must know what God expects of you and do them. Then God will for sure do His part.

So in order for you to see the manifestation of what God has promised you this year and beyond, you must understand that you have a role to play. You must know what you need to do. It is important. And laziness will not help you. Praise the Lord.

Laziness basically is you are equipped to do something, you know you should do, and you decide not to do. Praise the Lord. And you can give yourself all the reasons and all the justifications, but you had the time to do it. You had what it takes to do it. But you are basing it on your feelings, you are basing it on your emotions, you are basing it on, you know, all kinds of factors which, at the end of the day, you know, causes you to waste time.

When you have that attitude, it's going to be difficult for you to be divinely settled. Let's read a few scriptures that touch on laziness. So tell somebody, "Avoid laziness."

Proverbs chapter 10, verses 4 and 5. Proverbs chapter 10, verses 4 and 5. "Lazy hands lead to poverty, but diligent hands lead to wealth." Amen. Lazy hands lead to what? Poverty. So, if someone is lazy, from the Amplified, he says what? Or is he who works with a negligent and idle hand? Amen. That is laziness.

But the hand of the diligent makes him rich. Which means you will get what you have if you choose to do what you are required to do. If you don't know what you are required to do, don't expect to have anything. So, if you want to get something, you must do what you are required to do. Laziness will not make you rich. Laziness will make you poor. That's basically what the scripture is saying.

So, lazy hands lead to what? Poverty. While diligent hands lead to wealth. Praise the Lord. He who gathers during summer and takes advantage of his opportunities is a wise person. Poverty leads to what?

He who acts wisely, praise the Lord. He who gathers during summer and takes advantage of opportunity, so opportunities may come. Make sure you identify them. Make sure you take advantage of them. Praise God. That person is a wise person.

But he who sleeps during harvest and ignores the moment of opportunity is a son who acts simply. May God help us that this year we will not be lazy. Praise God.

Proverbs chapter 13, verse 4: "The lazy man's desires are never satisfied, while the diligent man's desires are." Amen. So the soul or appetite of the lazy person craves and gets nothing. So you can wish all you want, but if you don't work towards it, don't expect to achieve anything. That's basically the point.

So you can have the desire to have something, but if you don't find out what you need to do and then follow through to get those things done, don't expect any results. If you are looking for a job and you are not applying and following up, don't expect to get a job. Praise the Lord.

If you have a job and you are not planning towards it, don't expect to have a car. So whatever it is that you want in life, you must work towards it. So it says that if you just desire it, don't expect to have it.

The soul appetite of the diligent who works willingly is rich, rich and abundantly supplied. Amen. That means you get what you want, basically.

Now, they say Proverbs 21, verse 5. There's a lot of scriptures. "The plan of the diligent leads to plenty, but the plans of the hasty lead to poverty." Between the one who uses shortcuts and who leads to poverty. If you want shortcuts to everything, the shortcuts may end up not bringing what you need. Or even if you are going to get something, you know, it is not going to last, basically.

Laziness casts one into a deep sleep. Praise the Lord. That was Proverbs 21, verse 5. The plans of the diligent lead to plenty, while the plans of the hasty lead to what? Poverty. None of us want to live poor. How many of us like poverty? Nobody wants poverty. Praise the Lord. I don't want poverty, and I believe you don't either.

So, have plans. Work your plans. And God will bless it. And you will see increase. You will see fruitfulness. Whatever skill, whatever talent, whatever thing God has given you, make good use of it. Tell us the goals you want to achieve in life. Praise God.

Ecclesiastes 10:18: "Laziness causes buildings to decay." When I saw this, it says laziness causes what? Buildings to decay. So if you are in a building and you are not taking care of it, the building will collapse, the building will decay. You know, when a building is somewhere and no one is in it over a period of time, it begins to have some damages. But when somebody is there working on the building, the building always remains strong.

So it says what? Laziness causes buildings to decay and houses to leak. Our building will not decay, and our houses will not leak in the name of Jesus. A lazy man is like a door that turns on its hinges, amen. They pretend like it's working, but it's not working.

So the door is on the hinges; it's at the same place. All you just open and close, open and close, open and close at the same place. No progress. That is the point here.

And then I will read finally Ecclesiastes chapter 5, verse 16: "Making the very most of your time." Ephesians chapter 5, sorry, Ephesians chapter 5, verse 16: "Making the very most of your time on earth, recognizing and taking advantage of each opportunity and using it with wisdom and diligence because the days are filled with evil." Praise the Lord.

That's Ephesians 5:16. Making the very most of your time on earth. Tell somebody, "Make the most of your time on earth." Praise the Lord.

Can we have it on the screen? Ephesians 5:16: "Making the very most of your time on earth, recognizing and taking advantage of each opportunity, taking advantage of what? Each opportunity." I can say take advantage of it and using it with what? Wisdom and diligence because the days are evil.

That is how you are going to see the fruition of what you want happen in your life. So that is that for laziness and using your time well. Don't wake up each day and let the day run to the end without doing something that will bring progress in your life. May God help us and give us the wisdom to know how to handle ourselves.

Now, the next point is very, very important because you can do everything else, but this particular one can rob you of everything else also, and that is get rid of unforgiveness and bitterness. If you want to be divinely settled, you have to what? Get rid of unforgiveness and bitterness. Pursue peace and holiness, hallelujah.

Pursue what? Peace and holiness. Because you know forgiveness is a very big thing for God. It is very important. Forgiveness, you know, will give you the opportunity to have the blessings of God or will take away your blessings depending on which side of forgiveness you stand, whether you stand on the side of forgiving or stand on the side of unforgiveness.

You only need to have a relationship with God. You need to find a way to feel obeyed because no one is going to mean then, and I won't please you for that. Because if that means that you can get rid of the hurt, you want to exist in the community for the rest of your life. How you can get rid of the hurt doesn't mean that you can't get rid of the hurt.

I believe you because you are created that way. Because God gives forgiveness to those people that repent. Another way that you can be brave is to stop pitying someone. They meant sin's forgiveness because He knows that we will be offended somewhere.

Somebody may be, you know, backbiting. Somebody may be gossiping behind you. Somebody may be doing all kinds of things against you. You will find out, but how you handle it is very important. Sometimes even after confronting the person, I just... Scripture says the person still doesn't want to own up, and if you keep it in your heart, at the end of the day, you become the one that suffers.

It goes to bring all kinds of unwanted things to you. So the first scripture we are looking at is Matthew chapter 6, verse 15: "But if you do not forgive others, very important, naturally your hands and anger with the result that it interferes with your relationship with God, then your Father will not forgive your trespasses."

So this is one of the important things we need to take note of. Unforgiveness can affect your relationship with God. It affects your fellowship with God. So if you have unforgiveness, your prayer will go nowhere. Your praise and worship will go nowhere. Because you are praising God, and if your relationship with God is broken, then your prayer and your praise go nowhere.

And the scripture is giving us this warning that in order to maintain our fellowship and our relationship with God, we must stay forgiving. And to stay forgiving means ensure that you forgive others. Because if you forgive others, then you stay forgiving in the sight of God. It is very important.

So don't expect any divine settlement if you are still holding on to someone in your heart. Let me put it that way. Listen, I am not saying that you will forget. You may not forget what the person did to you, but then you are also not holding on to it to the point that anytime you see the person, you are in pain, you are hurting, that you are wishing the person evil. Praise God.

So the Bible is telling us that if we do not forgive, we will not be forgiven. And Jesus gave us a lot of parables that caution us. Mark chapter 11, verses 25 and 26: "Whenever you stand praying, hallelujah." He says, "Whenever you stand praying." Who stands praying? I and you.

Whenever we stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, hallelujah. So prayer is not just a matter of getting up and praying and mumbling words. This may be the reason why some people's prayers don't get answered. Unforgiveness has become a block to their prayers. It has affected their relationship with God.

So the Bible says that whenever you stand praying, whenever I stand praying, whenever we stand to pray, it means do an examination of your life and of the relationship that you have with God and find out if there is somebody that needs forgiveness from you. You will make sure you forgive them.

Whenever it says whenever, not if. So it is. But you know that the scripture tells us we will be praying. God knows we will be praying. And what the people must pray means we are pleading on God, calling on God for help, amen.

So if I'm calling on God for help and God, whom I have offended so much, has forgiven me, Jesus went to the cross so that I will be forgiven. He was forsaken so that I will be forgiven. We have been forgiven. So therefore, when the scripture is instructing and commanding us, this one, it's a command. It's an instruction from God.

It's not saying that if the person has changed. It is not saying that if the person, you know, is showing signs of remorse or anything like that. That's not what the scripture is saying. It says when you start to pray, please stay there. When you start to pray, stay where you were before.

Verse 25: "When you start to pray, hallelujah, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him." It will drop the issue and let it go. Drop the issue and let it go so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive your transgressions and wrongdoings against Him and others, amen.

So when you forgive them, you leave them, you let them go. Because if you are not forgiving somebody, you are holding them hostage in your heart, and at the end of the day, God forbid, you are going to give yourself a heartache, praise the Lord.

You're going to give yourself some sicknesses because any time you see this person, you will be boiling out of anger, praise the Lord. It's going to give you a heartache; it will affect your blood pressure. It's going to affect you in many ways without knowing.

You know, because you think that, okay, he has hurt me, so I have to retaliate or do whatever. Vengeance belongs to God. Let God fight your battles for you. Let God take care of that person who has offended you, amen.

So when we start to pray, so when you are going to pray, first of all, ask God for forgiveness. The next verse, verse 26: "When you pray, but if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your transgressions."

So this verse also tells us the same thing we read in Matthew 6:15. Now, Ephesians 4, verses 30 to 32: "And do not grieve the Holy Spirit." Tell somebody, "Don't grieve the Holy Spirit."

"But seek to please Him, amen." And one of the ways to please Him is what? Forgiveness. "By whom you were sealed and marked, branded as God's own." You are also, we belong to God. Tell somebody, "You belong to God." Hallelujah.

We know we are God's brand, amen. I believe you know in this generation, things are getting branded. The Bible says that you are branded for God, amen. You are God's brand. Praise the Lord.

"For the day of redemption, the final deliverance from the consequence of sin." Amen. Once you know who you are, you are not going to allow what somebody else has done or is doing to affect you. Because if you know your level and somebody is down there wanting to mess up with you, you don't give them attention, amen.

You maintain your high standard of living. Verse 31: "Let all bitterness." Tell somebody, "All bitterness." Not some bitterness. Because unforgiveness, you know, results in bitterness, but sometimes bitterness results in unforgiveness, amen.

And the Bible says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, perpetual animosity, resentment, strife, false finding, and slander be put away from you, amen, along with every kind of malice, all spitefulness, verbal abuse, more malevolence." Amen.

Love to get rid of all these things. God, these things will make it difficult for you to be divinely settled. It will block your chances of God's blessings. Don't harbor these things, amen.

For your own sanity and for your own health, don't harbor bitterness. If somebody does something to you, if you can go to them, let them know, "Mr. A, Miss B, you did A, B, and C to me, and to be honest, I wasn't happy about it." Just let them know.

If they accept and ask for forgiveness, fine. If they don't accept and they still want to go back and forth, still forgive them and move on with God, hallelujah. For your own sake, you don't want your blessings to be blocked.

The last verse, verse 32: "Be kind and helpful, sorry, to one another, tenderhearted, compassionate, understanding, forgiving one another, amen, forgiving what? One another readily and freely, just as God in Christ also forgave you."

So we have received forgiveness; we want God to forgive us also. Now this other scripture I'm going to read is fully packed. I want you to pay attention. It also deals with bitterness.

So we're looking at Hebrews chapter 12. We'll be reading verses 12 to 17. Hebrews chapter 12 from verses 12 to 17. "Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down and the feeble knees and make straight paths for your feet so that what is lame may not be dislocated, rather be healed." Praise the Lord.

So the verse 12 all the way down to 17 is what we are looking at. This is what the hand that I have done and the feeble knees. Strengthen them, which means that don't accept any weakness. Don't tolerate any weakness. Don't allow weaknesses to keep you down or keep you in the same state that you are in, amen.

And this requires faith. So if you are facing any challenge, any obstacle, anything that is trying to keep you down, the Bible says, "Strengthen those hands and those feeble knees." He says you should strengthen them.

And when you do, He says, "Make straight paths for your feet so that what is lame may not be dislocated but rather healed." God wants you healed emotionally, psychologically, physically, spiritually, mentally, hallelujah. God wants you healed.

Now what then it comes down to now tells us how we can strengthen our people, you know, strengthen our hands that hang down and our feeble knees. How do we do so? He says what? "Continually pursue peace, amen."

"Continually pursue peace with everyone and the sanctification without which no one will ever see the Lord." So for me to have my healing, for my hands that are hung down to be strengthened, for my feet that are weak to receive strength, the Bible is sent for me to receive my healing.

And we say, "God, pursue peace with everyone." Not the people who like you only, just everyone. Continually pursue peace. He knows that time and time again there'll be the need for you to want peace, hallelujah.

So that must be our desire. I want to be the divine instructor, and I don't want two of these things to stand in the way. So let's pursue peace with all people and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.

You want to see God? You want to see the manifestation of the power of God? You want to see miracles happening for you? You want to see the hand of God manifesting in your life, in your business, in your finances? That was the pursuit of peace with everyone.

Because that blessing God may use that person, may want to use that person as a channel of blessing for you. Because in the time of the Israelites, God used the king to rebuild the wall from an unbelieving king, amen.

If you would have said that, "Oh, you know, it's an unbeliever," give him no respect, but that was the person that God was going to use to provide all the resources that were needed to go and rebuild the wall.

So this instruction that God gives us, we must follow it. He says, "And see to it." Tell somebody, "See to it." See to it that no one is immoral or godless like Esau, who sold his birthright for a single meal.

Don't sell your birthright. Tell someone, "Don't sell your birthright." If you are refusing to forgive someone that you need to forgive, you are selling your birthright. The scripture is using Esau as an example, which means you don't value what God has given you.

You don't value anything, but it is the remnant of Esau. You what God wants to give you, and so you are still hanging on to this unforgiveness thing that is not going to yield any productive thing in your life, amen.

So let us not hold hands on. There are some things we shouldn't waste our time on. Don't let the person live in your heart. Somebody said, "Don't let the person live in your heart rent-free." Amen.

Don't give the person the chance to live in your heart rent-free. The person is not going to pay you for anything, yet you are keeping them in your heart, amen. And you are getting hurt all the time.

Why do you want to continue keeping them in your heart? Hand them over to God. Vengeance belongs to Him. Let God do battle for you. Let God fight for you.

I want to be divinely settled this year. Praise the Lord. So don't sell your birthright. Tell someone, "Don't sell your birthright." Hallelujah.

He says, "Looking carefully lest anyone falls short of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled." By this, many were made into heroes.

Number is completely less. There is in the phony kettle profane like this who for what? For one muscle alone was born his birthright. It is not worth allowing a small sin to rob you of all the blessings God has in store for you.

So don't fall into temptation because a small sin can take away all the blessings that you need. Esau, while he was focusing on that moment of anger, Jacob was focused on lifelong blessings.

So Esau was just focusing on something that was good to get now. Sometimes shortcuts can be dangerous. Yes, you are hungry, but make sure you get food the right way. Make sure you cook the right meal so that you don't get contaminated, so that you don't get sick.

Because if you are hungry, you can't eat anything that counts, then you will not be far away from being sick. You still have to pay attention to what you eat and get what you eat the right way. That's what Esau did.

You know, Esau sold his birthright. We will not sell our birthright in the name of Jesus. He says, "For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected." Amen. He was rejected.

May you not be rejected this year. May God not reject you. May heaven not reject your prayer, hallelujah. May your service to God not be rejected. May your worship not be rejected. May everything that you do not be rejected.

Hallelujah. We will not sell our birthright for a bowl of soup in the name of Jesus. He says, "For he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears."

So he cried, but there was no repentance. So the Bible says that all the cries he cried, you can cry a bucket full of water without repentance. Don't expect God to come in.

And that was the case of Esau. The Bible says that he cried and still did not get what he wanted. So every feeble knee, may you receive strength. You peace with people, hallelujah.

It doesn't matter whether they like you or they don't like you. Don't be the one that, you know, causes strife and quarrels and fights. When they try to bring their quarrels and their fights to you, pray the Holy Spirit to help you to push that away so that you can maintain your peace with God.

Because your peace with God also hinges on the peace of God. Your peace with one another. We all need peace. I need my peace. I believe you need your peace as well.

And so, we must do well to get rid of these things that will stand in the way, amen. Proverbs 14, verse 30 states that a heart at peace gives life to the body, amen.

A heart at peace what? Gives life to the body. Proverbs 14, verse 20. While envy rots the bones. Envy, that's what? Rots the bones. Proverbs 14, verse 30.

The heart, you know, a heart at peace. A heart at peace, that's what? Gives life to the body. So, if your heart is at peace, you know, you will live long. Your body, you know, will be normal. You will grow normally, amen.

Now, if you hear a bad news sometimes, it can change the whole, you know, workings of your body. So, sometimes what you hear from somebody can change because it enters your heart and it begins to change the workings of your body.

Somebody will hear a news and all of a sudden they fall down and collapse because of what they heard. But before that, they were fine and everything was normal. Everything was okay.

So, when the heart is at peace, it also gives your body, you know, good health. That's basically the point. A calm and peaceful and tranquil heart is life and health to the body.

Father, give us peace that passes all understanding because we want a healthy body. There are a lot of sicknesses we can do away with or we can avoid by maintaining a good heart, amen. A peaceful heart.

There are some sicknesses that could be avoided. Many people would avoid, you know, being admitted in the hospital if they would allow God to be gone and, you know, let God take care of what they cannot take care of and, you know, maintain their peace in their heart just by their passion.

And the envy, passion and envy are like rottenness to the bones. Rottenness to the bones. If someone has a bone disease or bone sickness, it is not easy. And the Bible says that's what envy does; it's like rottenness to the bones.

It's been the person is dead already. Rottenness to the bone. Unforgiveness can lead to chronic anger. You are always angry, always angry, always angry. That's what unforgiveness will do. It can lead to chronic anger, which can increase stress, blood pressure, and heart rate.

Somebody's blood pressure keeps going up and down; your heart rate, you know, it's not normal. It becomes abnormal over time. These issues can contribute to health problems like cardiovascular diseases, amen.

Now I understand why Joseph was able to be divinely settled in spite of all that his brothers did to him and all the temptations that came his way. He had a heart of forgiveness. That was Joseph.

Joseph is an example. When we read the book of Genesis chapter 39 going, we know Joseph's brothers sold him out. They were envious of him because he had a dream, because you know he shared his dream with them. So they became jealous.

"You are the youngest among us; how dare you come and tell us that we are going to be bound to you?" Or something like that. Because basically that was what his dream was like. Maybe you are in your family; you are the one that God wants to use to bless the family.

There are some people who may be jealous of you and want to do anything, all kinds of things against you. Don't fight them. Let God do the fighting for you. That's what Joseph did. Joseph did not fight. Joseph just allowed the will of God to play out in his life.

Allow God's will to play out in your life. That is how you come to your place of prominence. That is how you come to your place of success. That is how you want to get your breakthrough and your successes, hallelujah.

That was Joseph. When his brothers came and later they found out it was him, then they were afraid because they thought that we have done this guy so much evil. It's our own blood brother, but we have treated him bad.

They even wanted to kill him. It's not for Reuben that, you know, came in and said, "No, let us not kill him. Let them just take the clothes and kill some animals, kill the blood, and you know, sell him out." Otherwise, it would have been them.

But God will always come in right on time, hallelujah. Coming because your life is hidden in Christ and Christ in God. No matter how dangerous the enemy may seem to be, they will not prevail. They will not overcome you. You will always break through because you are in Christ and Christ in God, amen.

God is the one that is preserving and protecting you. God told Job, God told the devil, "You can do whatever you want to do, but his life you cannot touch." No one can touch your life, hallelujah.

As a child of God, no one can touch your life. Your life is hidden in Christ and Christ in God. Joseph was before Christ, but I believe he understands some spiritual things. He knew the God that he was serving. He has faith in Him that no matter what, if it is God that has given me this vision, if it is God that has given me this dream, no man can stop it.

That is why even in the house of Potiphar, you know, when he was tempted to defile himself, you know, it was just a little pleasure that would have destroyed everything for Joseph. Something that, you know, you have stayed clean, continue staying clean because your blessing is close by.

Even if it takes a year, even if it takes two years, as long as you are holding on to God, that was Joseph. Let go of bitterness, let go of anger, let go of unforgiveness because there is something bigger waiting for you, amen.

Something bigger coming your way. God is going to do something that will amaze your enemies. Don't allow the devil to sidetrack you with unforgiveness. It is big as far as this message concept. If we can take care of it, we will be divinely settled in Jesus' name.

Because that is one of the things that is difficult to obey. Someone has really hurt you so bad, and God is saying, "Let them go, forgive them." It is not easy. It is not easy at all.

But for the sake of God, they say to err is human and to forgive is divine. We don't want God to hold our sins against us or hold our weaknesses against us. We want God to give us so just like David and just like Joseph said, "Even though you meant it for evil, God meant it for good," amen.

That treatment that they gave him pushed David to go ahead of them to prepare, you know, the grounds for the salvation of many people because it was through that that Joseph was used to get food stored that in the time of famine they were able to provide food to many people.

So sometimes, for all of these things that are happening, you don't know God is probably pushing you somewhere else. God is leading you somewhere else. God is bringing you to something bigger and better.

Don't let the small things that come in the way stop you. Let's be on our feet and let's talk to God. I've shared a few things with us. You know where you are. You want to be divinely settled. You know what stands in the way.

Maybe your faith in Christ is taking a hit, or there's something that is holding you back from doing. Call it the spirit of laziness. Tell God, "Take away this spirit of laziness. I don't want my life to be wasted."

If you are in your heart, they keep hurting you. You keep holding them in your heart. They keep hurting you. You keep holding them in your heart, and it is blocking your chances. It is blocking your blessings. It is delaying your blessings.

Maybe you are not aware. You have been praying; you have been receiving all the prophetic messages. You have been receiving all the prophecies. Sir, that is happening for you. Your finances are not in good shape. Your business is not moving the way it should. Your life is not moving the way it should.

Just talk to God. God, I surrender. I surrender to you today. I surrender my mistakes I did in the past, thinking I was helping myself and ended up delaying myself. Lord, forgive me. Open my understanding. Give me clarity of thought.

Father, give us the grace to forgive them. Those in our workplaces who have offended us, give us the grace to forgive them. Those, Lord, those friends who have offended us, Father Lord, give us the grace to forgive them.

It is difficult for us. It is hard for us, Lord. Help us. And no one can be against us. In the name of Jesus, we give you praise. Just thank God, just bless the Lord.

God, we give you praise. We give you glory. We give you honor and adoration. We thank you for giving us the grace to be bold, to forgive.

Just throw away your title and offering or seed, whatever that you are giving. Just throw it away. And for the purpose of tax receipts, if you are using the envelope, make sure you put the information so that at the end of the year you can get your receipts for tax purposes.

By next week, the tax receipt for last year will be ready, God willing. Let our giving be accepted. Your word even says that if we are given an offering and we have grudged with someone, we should go back and reconcile before we break it.

Father, we have heard your word, and I believe that, Lord, you have forgiven us as we have also forgiven those who have sinned. So, Lord, let our offering be accepted. Let it open doors of favor for us. Let it open doors of blessings for us. Devour the devourer for our sake.

In the name of Jesus. We thank you, Lord. In Jesus' name, amen. Amen.

So, the basket will be passed around. As you can see, the basket will be passed around. As we take note of these announcements, our Bible studies continue during the week.

Wednesdays, 7:45 to 9. We are studying the book of Matthew so far, and we are now in chapter 4. And we are learning a lot. So, if you are available around those times, please do well to join us on Zoom, and it will be a blessing to you.

So, Wednesdays, 7:45 to 9. And then Thursdays, 9 to 10. And then Friday, we have our prayer hour from 8 p.m. to 9. Amen. And Sunday, we are here, by God's grace. Hallelujah.

Let's go now and finish as we close. Let's go now and finish as we close. Do you mind if you can please close us in prayer?

Let's share the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us now and forevermore. Amen. Thank you very much.

Surely, goodness and peace shall follow us all the days of our life. And we will go to the house of the Lord forever and ever. Amen. Amen. God bless you. God bless you. God bless you.

Subject: Keys to Achieving Divine Settlement in Faith

Dear Heaven Living Ministries - HLM,

I hope my email finds you reflecting on our message titled "Do's and Don'ts for Your Divine Settlement."

Last Sunday, we explored the essential steps we must take to experience our divine settlement this year. We learned that while God is on our side, we must remain vigilant against the devil, keep our faith strong, avoid laziness, and let go of unforgiveness and bitterness. These are not just suggestions; they are vital actions we must embrace to unlock the blessings God has in store for us.

As we move forward, I challenge each of you to examine your hearts and lives. Are there areas where laziness has crept in, or perhaps someone you need to forgive? Let us not allow these barriers to block our divine settlement. Instead, let’s commit to pursuing peace and holiness, knowing that our faith and diligence will lead us to the fruitful lives God has promised.

Blessings,
Heaven Living Ministries - HLM Team
