In today's gathering, we explored the profound concept of "set times" as illustrated in the book of Daniel and other biblical narratives. We began by acknowledging the importance of participating in civic duties, such as voting, as a reflection of our Christian values. We then transitioned into the heart of our discussion, focusing on the idea that God has appointed times for breakthroughs, healing, and deliverance in our lives. This notion of "set times" is not just a biblical concept but a reality that we can experience if we trust in God's timing and remain steadfast in prayer and faith.
Daniel's story serves as a powerful example of this truth. Despite the delay in seeing his prayers answered, Daniel understood that God had a predetermined time for Israel's deliverance. This understanding fueled his persistent prayer and fasting, leading to a divine intervention. Similarly, Psalm 102 reminds us that there is a set time for God's favor upon Zion, symbolizing the church and, by extension, each of us.
We also delved into the significance of the number 40 in the Bible, representing periods of testing and waiting. These periods are often followed by a breakthrough, symbolized by "day 41." This pattern is evident in various biblical stories, such as Noah's flood, Jesus' temptation, and the Israelites' journey to the Promised Land. Each instance underscores the importance of enduring through the testing period, confident that God's appointed time for deliverance will come.
The message encourages us to proclaim our set times, aligning our declarations with God's promises. By doing so, we participate in the spiritual battle that precedes our breakthrough. We are reminded that while the waiting period may be challenging, it is crucial to remain steadfast, trusting that God's timing is perfect.
As we concluded, we reflected on personal experiences of waiting for God's timing, emphasizing the importance of not giving up. We were encouraged to identify our "41," the breakthrough we are believing for, and to hold onto the promise that it is on the horizon.
**Key Takeaways:**
1. **Trust in God's Timing:** Just as Daniel understood the set time for Israel's deliverance, we must trust that God has appointed times for our breakthroughs. Our role is to remain faithful in prayer and trust that God's timing is perfect. [39:44]
2. **Proclaim Your Set Time:** Align your declarations with God's promises. By speaking life and truth over your circumstances, you participate in the spiritual battle that precedes your breakthrough. This act of faith invites divine intervention. [45:54]
3. **Endure the Testing Period:** The number 40 symbolizes testing and waiting in the Bible. These periods are often followed by significant breakthroughs. Embrace the testing time, knowing that "day 41" is coming, bringing with it God's promises. [49:23]
4. **Spiritual Warfare Precedes Breakthrough:** Before experiencing a breakthrough, there is often a spiritual battle. Ephesians 6:13 reminds us to put on the full armor of God and stand firm, knowing that our set time is near. [52:31]
5. **Identify Your "41":** Reflect on what breakthrough you are believing for and hold onto the promise that it is coming. Write it down, pray over it, and remain steadfast in your faith, trusting that God's appointed time will manifest. [59:14]

Day 1: Trusting in God's Perfect Timing
In the journey of faith, understanding and trusting in God's timing is crucial. Just as Daniel recognized the set time for Israel's deliverance, we too must trust that God has appointed times for our breakthroughs. This trust is not passive but active, requiring us to remain faithful in prayer and steadfast in our belief that God's timing is perfect. Daniel's story teaches us that even when answers seem delayed, they are not denied. His persistent prayer and fasting were fueled by his understanding of God's predetermined plans. Similarly, we are called to trust in God's timing, knowing that He is orchestrating events for our ultimate good. [39:44]
"For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay." (Habakkuk 2:3, ESV)
Reflection: What is one area of your life where you struggle to trust God's timing? How can you actively practice patience and faith in this area today?
Day 2: Declaring God's Promises Over Our Lives
Proclaiming our set times involves aligning our declarations with God's promises. By speaking life and truth over our circumstances, we engage in the spiritual battle that precedes our breakthrough. This act of faith invites divine intervention, as our words have the power to shape our reality. The Bible encourages us to speak boldly, declaring God's promises over our lives. This is not merely positive thinking but a profound act of faith that aligns our hearts with God's will. As we declare our set times, we participate in the unfolding of God's plans, inviting His presence and power into our situations. [45:54]
"Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits." (Proverbs 18:21, ESV)
Reflection: What specific promise from God do you need to declare over your life today? How can you incorporate this declaration into your daily routine?
Day 3: Embracing the Testing Period
The number 40 in the Bible symbolizes periods of testing and waiting, often followed by significant breakthroughs. These testing times are opportunities for growth and refinement, preparing us for the blessings that lie ahead. Embracing the testing period requires patience and perseverance, knowing that "day 41" is coming, bringing with it God's promises. Throughout biblical history, periods of testing have been precursors to divine intervention and deliverance. Whether it's Noah's flood, Jesus' temptation, or the Israelites' journey, each story underscores the importance of enduring through the testing period with faith and hope. [49:23]
"And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you." (1 Peter 5:10, ESV)
Reflection: What current challenge in your life could be a testing period? How can you embrace this time with faith, trusting that God's promises are on the horizon?
Day 4: Engaging in Spiritual Warfare
Before experiencing a breakthrough, there is often a spiritual battle. Ephesians 6:13 reminds us to put on the full armor of God and stand firm, knowing that our set time is near. Spiritual warfare is a reality that precedes our breakthroughs, requiring us to be vigilant and prepared. Engaging in spiritual warfare involves prayer, faith, and the declaration of God's promises. It is a proactive stance against the forces that seek to hinder our progress. By standing firm in our faith and equipping ourselves with God's armor, we position ourselves to receive the breakthroughs that God has set for us. [52:31]
"Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm." (Ephesians 6:13, ESV)
Reflection: What spiritual battles are you currently facing? How can you equip yourself with God's armor to stand firm and prepare for your breakthrough?
Day 5: Identifying Your "41"
Reflecting on the breakthrough you are believing for and holding onto the promise that it is coming is a powerful act of faith. Identifying your "41" involves recognizing the specific breakthrough you are waiting for and actively praying over it. This act of faith keeps you focused and hopeful, trusting that God's appointed time will manifest. Writing down your "41" and praying over it daily is a tangible way to express your faith and anticipation. It serves as a reminder of God's promises and encourages you to remain steadfast in your belief that your breakthrough is on the horizon. [59:14]
"Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act." (Psalm 37:5, ESV)
Reflection: What is your "41," the breakthrough you are believing for? How can you actively pray and prepare for this breakthrough, trusting in God's appointed time?
We thank you for joining us today.
Well, it's great to see you this morning, and we are blessed and honored that you would join us. If we haven't told you today, we just want to tell you that we love you, and we wouldn't want to do life without you.
I just want to say thank you so much for honoring all of our pastors last week. Such nice cards and gifts, and the greenbacks in there—you know, green is always the right color. We just thank God because, you know, a lot of times people just pat you on the back and say, "Well done." But here at the Father's House, they have such a gift of honoring all of our pastors, and we really appreciate that.
Elections are coming up this week. If you don't vote, don't grumble. Your vote is important as a Christian, representing the Kingdom of God in this world. Remember, we vote policies that closely align with the Word, not personalities, because there's only one personality that we're in love with, and his name is Jesus.
Hey, November the 17th, I'm sorry to tell you all these little preliminary things, but this is so awesome. My counselor, Dwight Bain, will be here with us. He presented at the chamber meeting last month this special presentation called "Tools to Save Your Kids from Screen Addiction." He put this together, and he's been going to a lot of places around the United States teaching this.
So Sunday morning, he's going to talk to us as a church about getting distracted and things that would keep us from being who God wants us to be. But then immediately after that, he's going to talk to us about screening difficulties.
I would love to answer this question that we're all still kind of stuck with. So do you want one of those parts to answer it? This already barred end mean if you watch. Okay, um, there's so many outdoor shows filter a TV, and we can reset Bowie and the rest of them do those things, and he did a really hell of a job at that.
And who—what is he doing? Okay, there's a new—do you see that here? And the director called.
He's dealing with the graphics there now. The director called what's F eller's codes, signing up, saying, "I'll be there." And listen, if you sign up, we're going to buy you lunch. So if we buy you lunch, we're good stewards, so show up. And if you don't sign up, don't come expecting a lunch. You know, it's small things, but every once in a while, you just have to say those.
All right? Everybody doing good? Yeah, I'm doing pretty good. A lot of pain with this knee, but I'm moving through, and I shall overcome, and it'll all be good.
Hey, let's pray.
Father, we love you. We are so honored, so honored to live in a nation where we have the freedom to vote. Thank you, Lord, because you set one up, and you set another in place. So, Lord, we pray your will be done, not ours.
Lord, sometimes we have in our mind who and what, but Lord, you know for your kingdom time and what you're going to do. You know the right one, so we pray.
Now, Father, I pray as we look at this, finalizing this teaching today in the book of Daniel, I pray that you would anoint me, Holy Spirit, that I could say what you want me to say. Don't let me say anything I shouldn't say.
And as the end of the service today, Lord, the most important thing is that you'll be glorified, the saints will be edified, and the enemy will be terrified in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Amen.
Well, go with me in the memory of your mind. I'm sure you've all had to endure this torture. It's time to go to the DMV for another tag. So you go, and they give you a tag, you know, your number 34. So they say, "Sit down; when your number's called, you'll have a set time."
At that time, when your number's called, you sit down, and they're calling, you know, the numbers 28, 29. I mean, they get right at the number before you, you know, and so they jumped into the 40s. And then it's beyond the 40s. And you're sitting there with this number in the 30s, and you wonder, "What's wrong? You know, I had a time reserved here. Why am I being overlooked when everybody else is getting their tags quicker?"
Anybody ever been to that place except me? And I wonder, is that not a spiritual picture even of our life? There are things in our life that we prayed about just this day. Daniel prayed for deliverance, but we haven't seen the answer to that.
And so then we get a little frustrated, but you have to realize that the moment, the moment that you prayed, the moment that you prayed for that prayer request, listen to me, God set a time for that answer to come.
There's a set time for your problem to turn around. There's a set time for your healing. There's a set time for your promotion. There's a set time for your breakthrough. But the trouble, the question is, do you trust God enough?
Do you trust God enough that he says, "I'll set a time for that breakthrough, a time for that healing?" Do you trust him enough to continue to pray and to declare what he says? Because that addiction is about to be broken. Those negative thoughts that come into your mind, you can't listen to them because God has a set time for your breakthrough.
How does that happen? Well, I think first of all, we need to go back and study Daniel, understand the set time. Say "set time." That may sound like an unusual phrase for you, but you'll see that phrase throughout the Bible—that God set a time, that he set a place, that he set this, and we'll look at that.
But Daniel now is praying in Daniel chapter nine. We've already studied that several weeks ago. And so he had this burden. And as he was reading through the book of Jeremiah, he realized that there were only two or three years left on the 70 years that they were supposed to be in captivity.
He read that in the book of Jeremiah. Look at this, Daniel nine: "I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of years specified by the word of the Lord through Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish 70 years in the desolations of Jerusalem."
So then I set my face toward the Lord God to make requests by prayer and supplication in faith, fasting, sackcloth, and ashes. He said, "I realized and understood that God had a set time for the deliverance of Israel."
So he said, "I began to pray, Lord, we call that forth. We want to see that." And in Daniel chapter nine, it says, "Even as I was praying, the Lord interrupted me with the answer."
So he said, "I understood that there was a set time." He didn't look at the circumstances; he looked at the Word that says there's a set time, and when 70 years is over, my people are going to go free.
In Psalm chapter 102, it's an interesting chapter. It starts out with the psalmist saying, "I pour my heart out for God. You know, my days are consumed. My bones are burned down. I'm groaning. I'm like a pelican in the wilderness, whatever that means. I lie awake. I'm like a sparrow alone on the housetop. My enemies are against me. I've been eating ashes like bread. My wine is mingled with weeping. I want to cry. I'm depressed. My days are like a shadow, and I'm withering away like grass."
Now, I mean, if you came in feeling good and you read that, you're going to leave feeling pretty down, right? But chapter 102 doesn't end there.
But at verse 12, look at this. He says, "But you, Lord, have endured forever, and the remembrance of your name to all generations. You will arise and have mercy on Zion."
Zion is the church. You know, we just celebrated communion a few minutes ago, that covenant communion that we have with the Lord. So he said, "There's a set time for you to favor Zion. There's a set time for the Lord to favor you."
If you are the church, and you're part of the church, it says that there is a time for his favor. Yes, the set time. Say "set time." The set time has come.
I like what the Amplified Bible says. It says, "Yes, the appointed time. The moment designated has come." You have a time. The Greek word for time there is the word "kairos," and it means an appointment time, an appointed place, an appointed season.
Before you were ever born, the days of your life were written out in God's book. And when we get to the place that we learn to cooperate with him, we're going to see a lot more of the set times come to realization in our life.
But listen, you can delay that set time, or you can miss the timing. One of the greatest disasters that's ever taken place in the history of mankind happened in 1271.
In 1271, Nicola and Matteo Polo, the father and the uncle of Marco Polo, were visiting Kublai Khan, who at that time was the world ruler over China, India, and all of the East. And as he listened to Nicola and Matteo, they were telling him about Christ and Christianity.
He listened, and he loved what they were saying. And here's what he said. Listen to this quote: "You shall go to your high priest and tell him on my behalf to send me a hundred skilled men in your religion. And I will be baptized first, and then all my barons and all my great men will be baptized, and their subjects will receive baptism. So there will be more Christians here in the East and in China than any other part of the world."
However, they didn't respond until 30 years later, and they sent two or three missionaries, which was far beyond the task and too late. But it baffles my imagination to think about what it would have been like if they would have sent the missionaries that they wanted, and China had become a Christian nation in the 13th century.
Can you imagine how that would have changed the world setting? I'm telling you, there are some set times that God wants to do something, and He's looking for people that say, "I believe a breakthrough is coming, and I believe that there's a set time for that to happen."
So understand the set time, and number two, proclaim your set time. Agree with God.
So I'm reading through the Bible, and I read about healing, and I begin to say, "Lord, I believe that by your stripes I am healed. You are the one who heals throughout the New Testament. You healed. You went about always doing good and healing."
So I claim that. I believe that. You see, Jesus claimed it, and now I decree it that He is who He said that He was.
Daniel chapter 10, verse 12: "Then the angel said to him, 'Don't fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come because of your words.'"
Daniel understood, and as soon as he understood, he began to pray the scripture, and he began to fast, and the angel said, "Because you began to agree with God, because you began to agree that there's a set time for deliverance, I have come because of your many words."
Now, we've got to do our part in this agreement, and number three, remember that spiritual balance is important. The battle always precedes your set time.
I think it's interesting, in chapter 9, Daniel says, "As I was praying, the Lord heard my prayer." But in chapter 10, he says, "After 21 days of praying, then I received the breakthrough."
So you see, it may be that you understand what you're supposed to pray for, the breakthrough, and you pray it, and immediately the answer comes. And I love immediate answers.
But it could be that your set time, that your breakthrough is not now. It may be a year from now. It may be a week from now. But there's always a spiritual battle to keep your answer from coming to you.
Daniel chapter 10, verse 13: "The angel said, 'But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me 21 days. And behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia.'"
He said, "Look, from the first time you prayed, I was on my way, but I got in a spiritual conflict in the heavenlies." We talked a lot about that last week.
But he said, "You have a set time, and God hasn't forgotten that set time. And you've prayed, and it looks like 21 days was a long time, but now is the set time for God to answer that prayer."
Your set time is that spiritual warfare that happens before the breakthrough. The number 40 in the Bible is very significant. It talks about testing. It talks about times that we're waiting for the answer to come, and the answer hasn't come.
In fact, 154 times in the Bible, it uses and talks about 40 being the number of testing. Remember, after Noah built the ark, it rained for how many days? 40 days. Jesus was tempted in the desert for how many days? 40 days. Goliath taunted the Israelites for how many days? 40.
Moses made a mistake, and he hid in the desert for 40 years. You see, everybody here today, I believe in one area of your life, you are in a 40-day testing time right now to see if you're really serious about the breakthrough.
Maybe you're facing a giant, and you don't know how you're going to overcome this giant. It just looks so big. Or maybe it's a slow season in your business. Or maybe you're in the middle of a storm, and you're trying to figure out how to speak to that storm.
Or maybe it's a medical report that came back this week. Or maybe it's that child that has left and won't come home. Or maybe you still haven't met the right person, and you can get discouraged.
But I'm going to tell you, here's what we need to understand: Breakthrough is coming. And every time after day 40, guess what? It's followed by what? Day 41.
Someone once asked me, "Do you have any tattoos?" I said, "No. If I ever found one decent enough, I might get it." So I'm thinking about it. I'm thinking about it. I'm thinking about one just sort of like this, here on my wrist. You might not be able to see it, but it says "41."
And I'm going to add a little period to it, "41." I may be right now in day 40. I may be struggling right now. But day 41 is coming, my breakthrough, the set time that God has for me. Amen, amen, amen.
After Noah built the ark, it rained for 40 days and 40 nights. But day 41 came, and the rain stopped. Set time. A set time.
Moses committed murder. He hid on the backside of the desert for 40 years. Year 41 came, and God came to him and said, "I'm going to give you a second chance. I'm going to send you back now to deliver."
You tried on your own before. It wasn't the set time. It wasn't the time you got in yourself that you were going to bring deliverance. But this is a set time. This is the 41st year. And this is a day of the set time.
After the exodus, the children of Israel wandered around the wilderness for 40 years. But year 41 came, and a new generation walked into the promised land that didn't doubt.
For 40 days, Goliath bullied Israel. "Somebody come and fight me." On day 41, a little guy by the name of David stepped up, and he let loose a stone.
And the last thing Goliath ever said is, "Wow, nothing ever in my mind like this before," as he fell over dead. For 40 years, Jonah delivered a message of doom and gloom in the city of Nineveh for 40 days, rather, but God was going to destroy the city.
But day 41 came, and they repented, and God spared their city. After Jesus was baptized in water, he went into the wilderness to fast for 40 days. 40 days the devil came at him, tempted him every way.
But day 41 came, the devil had to flee, and the angels of the Lord came to minister. That was the beginning of his monumental ministry. Your set time is coming. You hold on, and you continue to confess that.
40 days after the resurrection, Jesus appeared to his disciples on several occasions, proving to them that he did resurrect from the grave. But on day 41, after promising to send them the Holy Spirit, he ascended into the heavenlies.
And on day 41, he poured out the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost. You see, before our breakthrough, there's going to be spiritual warfare.
Ephesians 6:13 says, "Therefore, put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand the evil. And when you've done all, do what? Stand."
Look at your neighbor and say, "Stand." Stand. You've done all to stand, and keep standing. I will not give up. I will not get bitter. I will get better. I know it's raining, but something's going to improve.
It's day 40, but day 41 is coming. Several years ago, when Anita and I were on staff at another church, we were praying, and we knew that God eventually wanted us to pioneer and start a church somewhere.
And so, the pastor that we were with, about three years prior to us starting this church, said, "You know, you need to go up to Eustis. I want you to see a little building up there. There's a church there. The pastor is moving on, and he's going to go be a worship pastor for Rod Parsley. And they're looking, and I think you would be a good candidate for that."
So we looked in this area. It was right here. In fact, we drove through Leesburg as we were leaving that day, and we just felt like there was something good about this, but we couldn't feel it.
We couldn't feel it. We couldn't feel something good about that church because, you see, it was one of those churches that were deacon-led. And so everything was planned from that, and you had no say in what God was going to do.
And Anita and I prayed about that, and we said, "You know, it seems like it's the right place, but it's just not right. It's just not right. It's not the—we didn't know what we were saying at that time, but it's not the set time."
We left there, and I went to teach at a university in Columbus, Georgia. And in that year, some people that went to a multi-level marketing meeting met a friend of ours and said, "There's a bunch of church—there's a bunch of people burned out in the Leesburg, Eustis, Tavares area. And they're just looking for something new and fresh. Do you ever think about starting a church in that area?"
So we contacted our pastor, Rick Godwin. He said, "Yeah, go meet a few people." So we met a few people, and they said, "You know what? We've been wanting to be part of a church that would start, that would be fresh, that would be a spirit-filled, non-denominational church that could walk along the Godwin."
So, you know what? To make a long story short, that first time wasn't the set time, but the second time was a set time at the right place. So we started a church.
We had no place to meet. We kept renting places and moving, but we found that people in Leesburg at that time, 28 years ago, were very suspicious of a church starting that didn't have a building because they'd seen pastors come start something in this town.
They'd get offered something better, and they would leave and go somewhere else. TV station, Channel 55, started right here. Got a better offer, moved to Orlando, told people we'd always be here with you.
So people were very disappointed, and if you didn't have a building, then move to Orlando. So people were very disappointed, and if you didn't have a building, they felt like you weren't a church. You weren't going to stay there.
So we went everywhere. We knocked on every door. We did everything. "No, we're not renting churches. No, we're not doing that." And so we decided, "You know what? We just need God's help. We believe there's a set place for us and a set time, and we need God's help."
So we began a little campaign called "10 at 10." Every day at 10 a.m. and 10 p.m., we began to pray that God would give us a building because we didn't have a building.
So we began to pray that God would give us a building, and we didn't come to Leesburg or Central Florida just for a little hit and miss. We're going to stay here. And look, we're at 28 years right now. I think that's pretty good, right?
So Anita, on her way to work the first day that we started that, saw all of us signed on a medical facility over on the boulevard, said, "Building available for lease or rent."
So we immediately called that afternoon. Mr. Nolet said, "Well, I've always had renters in there for 20-something years. And all of a sudden, they came to me yesterday and said, 'We've got to get out of here. Our lease is up. We're going to move somewhere else.'"
So he said, "If you want it, I'll lease it to you. If you want to buy it, I'll help you get that, and we'll do that." And it was the first building that we had over on the boulevard.
But there was a set time and a set place for that to happen. I believe that your day 41 is coming. I believe that your day 41 is coming. I believe that your day 41 is coming.
I believe that so much that I really found another YouVersion. I know we're doing one, but if you go to the Father's House website, I know we're already doing one, a YouVersion, actually two YouVersions.
But if you look down through there, you're going to find this one that's just right there. It's called "41 Will Come." Would you say that? "41 Will Come."
Look at your neighbor and say, "Your 41 is coming." Your 41 is coming. This plan is so good. Every day, it talks about all the stuff in Daniel and the other places that sometimes we're only at day 40, but don't give up because your breakthrough is about to happen.
Your 41 will come. Your 41 will come. I believe 41 is simply saying something like this: "I got next."
I've been sitting around waiting while this is happening that morning, but I've got next. So here's my question for you today. It would be simply this: What's your 41?
What is it that you're believing for? Your 41. What is it that you're believing for? And I'd like you to just pause for a moment there in your outline.
I'd like you to just write that down. What is your 41 that you're believing for, that you're looking for, that you're praying for God to answer? I believe that your 41 is right around the corner, and you can't give up.
What if Daniel had given up on day 19? But no, he continued to pray, continued to pray. What if we'd given up when it just seemed like nothing was going to work for us to be here in Central Florida?
We'd have missed the timing. So somebody's here today. You needed to hear this teaching. I don't feel like teaching right now, and I'm in a lot of pain, but I felt like I wanted to deliver this.
And I felt like so much of this needed to be delivered that I gave Tim and Anita a copy of the teaching today. And I said, "You guys on standby, if I can't stand up there, if I can't make it, this teaching has got to go forth because there's too many people that are waiting. Their day 41 is waiting for them, and they need to hear that, and they need to not give up."
Would you bow your heads with me?
There are some of you today that this teaching resonated in your spirit because you said, "Well, I know there's some things that God has said that he would do, but I've been praying and hoping, but it hasn't happened."
But 41 is coming. Don't give up. We've been praying for our business to take off, and it just seems like it's struggled. Day 41 is coming. Don't give up.
And I want to pray for you in a moment. Those of you who feel like you're in that place that you're looking for the 41, but it hasn't happened, and you just know that God has the right person for you. He has the right place, but maybe the timing hasn't happened.
I want to pray with you before we go today. But before I do that, I want to say to you that are here, those of you that are watching online, if you've never invited Jesus Christ into your heart and into your life, let me tell you what he wants to do today.
He came into this world to live a sinless life so that he could take your sins and my sins, that he would go to the cross, and on the cross, he would pay the penalty for our sins.
And on the third day, he rose from the grave, and as many as called upon him could be saved. So today, the Holy Spirit is knocking on your heart's door, and he's saying, "Let me in. Let me give you forgiveness of sin. Let me give you a purpose for living today and hope for eternity."
If that's you, or maybe you need to rekindle that relationship with him, would you say by lifting your hand and making eye contact with me, "Terry, that's me. I need Jesus today." Would you do that?
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Others today, thank you. Thank you.
Let me lead you in a prayer today. And those of you, if you're watching online, join with us in this prayer.
Father God, thank you for loving me. Thank you for caring for me. I realize you died on the cross for my sins. Today, I ask you into my heart and into my life. I want to follow you as best as I know how. I want to follow you all the days of my life. Fill me with your spirit in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Church, let's celebrate with those who prayed that prayer. Come on. Amen.
Listen, I want to pray for those of you who feel like you're looking for your day 41, but it hasn't come yet. Would you stand? I want to pray with you. If that's you, say, "Yep, this message resonated for me. There's something in my life, and I believe there's a 41."
I want you to look around. You're not here by yourself, and it's happening. Would you just lift your hand right now to the Lord and would you say this? "Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. 41's coming, and I'm not going to give up."
Now, would you raise the other hand? And I want to pray for you right now.
Father, I pray for those right now that are looking for their 41. Lord, I pray by the power of your Holy Spirit that you'll give them the encouragement to hold on. I pray, Lord, they'll stay strong. I pray, Lord, they won't give up. I pray that breakthrough is coming in your name. Amen.
Amen. Amen. Amen.
The prayer team is coming down front, and let's take time now to worship some more in this song.
1. "And I wonder, is that not a spiritual picture even of our life? There are things in our life that we prayed about just this day. Daniel prayed for deliverance, but we haven't seen the answer to that. And so then we get a little frustrated, but you have to realize that the moment, the moment that you prayed, the moment that you prayed for that prayer request, listen to me, God set a time for that answer to come. There's a set time for your problem to turn around. There's a set time for your healing. There's a set time for your promotion. There's a set time for your breakthrough." )
2. "But the trouble, the question is, do you trust God enough? Do you trust God enough that he says, I'll set a time for that breakthrough, a time for that healing? Do you trust him enough to continue to pray and to declare what he says? Because that addiction is about to be broken. Those negative thoughts that come into your mind, you can't listen to them because God has a set time for your breakthrough. How does that happen? Well, I think first of all, we need to go back and study Daniel, understand the set time. Say set time." ([00:40:58] (36 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)
)
3. "Before you were ever born, the days of your life were written out in God's book. And when we get to the place that we learn to cooperate with him, we're going to see a lot more of the set times come to realization in our life. But listen, you can delay that set time, or you can miss the timing. One of the greatest disasters that's ever taken place in the history of mankind happened in 1271." ([00:44:34] (27 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)
)
4. "So understand the set time, and number two, proclaim your set time. Agree with God. So I'm reading through the Bible, and I read about healing, and I begin to say, Lord, I believe that by your stripes I am healed. You are the one who heals throughout the New Testament. You healed. You went about always doing good and healing. So I claim that. I believe that. You see, Jesus claimed it, and now I decree it that He is who He said that He was." ([00:46:27] (30 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)
)
5. "Daniel understood, and as soon as he understood, he began to pray the scripture, and he began to fast, and the angel said, because you began to agree with God, because you began to agree that there's a set time for deliverance, I have come because of your many words. Now, we've got to do our part in this agreement, and number three, remember that spiritual balance is important. The battle always precedes your set time." ([00:48:28] (30 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)
)
6. "Set time is that spiritual warfare that happens before the breakthrough. 40 days." ([00:49:23] (37 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)
)
7. "But I'm going to tell you, here's what we need to understand. Breakthrough is coming. And every time after day 40, guess what? It's followed by what? Day 41. Someone once asked me, said, do you have any tattoos? I said, no. If I ever found one decent enough, I might get it. So I'm thinking about it. I'm thinking about it. I'm thinking about one just sort of like this, here on my wrist. You might not be able to see it, but it says 41." ([00:50:57] (26 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)
)
8. "After Noah built the ark, it rained for 40 days and 40 nights. But day 41 came, and the rain came. The rain stopped. Set time. A set time. Moses committed murder. He hid on the backside of the desert for 40 years. Year 41 came, and God came to him and said, I'm going to give you a second chance. I'm going to send you back now to deliver. You tried on your own before. It wasn't the set time." ([00:51:48] (27 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)
)
9. "For 40 days, Goliath bullied Israel. Somebody come and fight me. On day 41, a little guy by the name of David stepped up, and he let loose a stone. And the last thing Goliath ever said is, wow, nothing ever in my mind like this before as he fell over dead. For 40 years, Jonah delivered a message of doom and gloom in the city of Nineveh for 40 days rather, but God was going to destroy the city. But day 41 came and they repented and God spared their city." ([00:52:31] (33 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)
)
10. "Several years ago, when Anita and I were on a staff at another church, we were praying and we knew that God eventually wanted us to pioneer and start a church somewhere. And so, pastor that we were with, about three years prior to we started this church, said, you know, you need to go up to Eustace. And I want you to see a little building up there. There's a church there. The pastor is moving on and he's going to go be a worship pastor for Rod Parsley. And they're looking. And I think you would be a good candidate for that."
