Aligning Our Lives with God's Divine Plan

Our understanding of God's plan and purposes in our lives.

In the story of Genesis chapter 16, we see Sarah, Abram's wife, struggling with infertility. She suggests to Abram that he have a child with her servant, Hagar, in order to fulfill the desire for a child.

Abram agrees, and Hagar becomes pregnant. However, once Hagar knows she is pregnant, she begins to treat Sarah with contempt. Sarah blames Abram for the situation and harshly mistreats Hagar, causing her to run away.

In the wilderness, the angel of the Lord finds Hagar and instructs her to return to Sarah and submit to her authority. The angel also promises Hagar that she will have many descendants. Hagar obediently returns and gives birth to a son.

The pastor emphasizes the importance of understanding God's agenda and purpose for our lives, rather than solely focusing on our own lists and agendas. He reminds the congregation that God has called and equipped us for specific assignments in the earth, and that our families play a significant role in fulfilling God's purposes.
