Active Commitment: Elevating Our Spiritual Journey

by ZCAEC Ministries
on Nov 05, 2023

But Lord, we are so thankful. We are so grateful now that we have you in our lives, oh God.

And we will give you all the glory, honor, and praise that you deserve tonight.

It is also our prayer, oh God, that you will fill our hearts and our minds with your holy presence as we meditate upon your word this evening.

Bless your messenger for tonight, oh Lord, and may your presence move in this house of worship this very evening.

This we pray in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen and amen.

Good afternoon, good evening everyone. 620, good evening.

Good evening everyone.

Okay, so for the past few weeks, I think two weeks, if you were here in the first installation of our series, we had the theme "new levels."

Yes, new levels. For the past weeks, new levels.

In the first installation of our series, we had new levels or level up in His word.

Yeah, if you were here, it was not that boring. We had a lot of activities that we did as we looked at God's word and leveled up.

John 3:16. Amen.

In our second installation of our series, we had it there in the big church, and we had that praise and worship feels because in the second installation, level up in worship.

Okay, so tonight is our third installation of our series, and our topic for tonight is, yeah, new levels, level up in our commitment.

Okay, anyways, yeah, we'll talk about commitment and commitment from us all.

Before we start, let's look at this. Commitment, it's a dictionary. It's just here.

Now, it's the state or quality of being dedicated to a cause or activity.

Okay, so state or quality of being, so it's not that boring. It's being similar to dedication, devotion, allegiance, loyalty, faithfulness.

Alright, so we'll talk about commitment this time.

But before that, let's all bow down our heads and let us pray.

God, we honor you tonight.

Oh, our Abba Father, we praise you, oh God, and we lift up your name.

And we pray, oh God, oh Holy Spirit, move in this place, move our hearts, teach us, oh God.

Because, Lord, guide me, but without the presence of the Holy Spirit, we would just hear this, and we can never apply this, oh God.

Also, Holy Spirit move in our midst, moving our lives, and may we bring you glory, oh God, and honor and praise that you deserve.

In Jesus' name, we declare, amen and amen.

So our passage for today is found in Acts chapter 6, verses 1 to 7.

Open your Bibles to Acts chapter 6, verses 1 to 7.
