Embracing God's Unconditional Love and Sacrifice

by Christ is our ROCK Church
on Nov 05, 2023

Mean good that in as much as we want to stick within our desired time, but just like this morning, wow, our surprise to find that we were actually worshiping for more than an hour.

And yet, for me, there is that urge that I want more, I want more. Amen, church. We want to mean right and stick with the time, but my dear brothers and sisters, if the boss says so, if the boss man dated it so, who are we to stop that? Amen, church.

Um, I think before we start, before we continue, um, our family members, the Coronel family, are leaving for the Philippines for a three-week holiday. This evening, their flight is this evening, and they will probably leave before the service finishes.

So, before we continue, can we just ask the family, let's pray for them and, at your own time, at your own pace, you know your time, then you can just nicely slip out if you need to. It's okay. Can we ask the Coronel family if we pray for them?

Um, and obviously, our brother Alan will drive them to the airport this afternoon. So, their flight is at 9 o'clock, so we are blessed that they were able to still come and join the service with us.

So, just quickly, wait for Lewis, Lou is coming, Lou is catching up. Hallelujah, say that again, Manila, Abu Dhabi, okay, okay, what time is our flight? Yeah, yeah, you asked the steward, can you please call out this name? If, uh, this name, you can establish connection, why not? Why not?

Oh, okay, hallelujah, even though, uh, yeah, let's pray for the family, church, let's extend our hands for the family.

Most gracious Lord and Heavenly Father, Lord, thank you for the gift of opportunity, Father God. Thank you, Lord, for this wonderful family, the Coronel family. Thank you for the answered prayer, oh God.

That as they have desired to go home to the Philippines, to visit, Father God, their parents, the relatives, other family members, Father God. And just to long for our native country, the Philippines, Father God, we thank you so much, first and foremost, for the provision.

Because we know and we do believe that you are the reason that could have made all these things possible. And Lord, we thank you so much as well as we send them off with our prayers.

Father, knowing and believing that the power of your Holy Spirit will go with them, that the company of your angels will travel alongside them. Father God, Lord, as they depart from Aldershot, travel to the airport, fly, Father God, to Abu Dhabi halfway and continue to the Philippines, Father God, even there, stay there, Lord, and up until that opportune time that you're going to bring them back here in this place.

Father, we declare Safety and Security to be upon them. We declare your presence to be upon them. We declare the blood of Jesus to cover them, Father God. We declare the company of the Holy Spirit to be upon them.

Lord, we thank you because this is not just an opportunity to visit the family, especially after that pandemic, but Lord, we thank you because you are going to open doors to the life of their loved ones back home through them, Father God, ushering them into your kingdom, unpacking, sharing your words to their family, Father God.

Thank you, Lord, because this holiday is more than the physical pursuit, but most importantly, the spiritual pursuit, Father God, to reach out to their family, their loved ones, and their friends.

So Father God, we pray that you enable them with the power of your Holy Spirit. We pray, Father God, that as they are there, keep them away from whatever works in the schemes of the enemy.

Father God, keep them away from whatever disturbances and distractions. Father God, Lord, let them be a blessing to the local church, as they, God-given talent and skills, Father God, bless the local churches in there.

Father God, we thank you so much. And Father, we release them with your love, and with that same love, Father, we pray that they will be welcomed there by their family members.

Thank you so much. And we look forward and anticipate the time when you bring them back in this place, Father God, as we joyfully await for their wonderful testimonies.

Father God, that you enable them, Lord, that you enable them, Father, thank you for the life of Brother Alan that will drive them to the airport. Give them a steady hand, Father God. Give them the reflex that comes from you, and return him to Aldershot safe and sound at the end of the afternoon.

This is our prayer in Jesus' mighty name. Amen. Amen.

Well, we'll see you in three weeks' time. And we'll see you in Zoom. Hallelujah.

To those people escaping the rainy England, that we do not know. Anyone else escaping rainy England that we do not know and will be surprised by?

I know someone. I know someone. Pastor, pray for my flight. I'm here in the airport waiting to board.

Okay, hallelujah, church. Where we bless. If you are, I don't know where you have been the last hour, I was so blessed, and I thank the Lord for all the lives of the young servants that the Lord has used here today.

Struggling with this, there you go. Hallelujah, praise you, Jesus.

Can I ask each and every one of us to stand up, praise you, Jesus. Hallelujah, let us pray.

Almost gracious Lord and our remarkable Father, thank you very much, Father God, Lord. We stand in awe, thank you for blessing us today, Father God.

We know, Lord, that there is just a tip, oh God, of the iceberg. We know, Father, that there are yet remarkable secrets, there are yet remarkable encounters and experiences that you want us to experience.

So Father, with all humbleness and humility, and with deep desire, Father God, we pray that do not withhold, Father. Open the floodgates of your kingdom, pour out your Spirit upon us, Father God, and enable us to receive and take as much as we can possibly hold physically, with our soul and with our spirit, Father God.

Lord, I pray that you honor your words, let your words be a sharp, double-edged sword that can penetrate our heart.

Father, again, we pray that you are our teacher, O Holy Spirit. That you are going to teach us and reveal your kingdom to us this afternoon.

And Father, as for your servant, Father, I continue to humble myself. I continue to desire for you to cleanse my heart, to give me a pure heart, Father God.

So that whatever overflow that will come out from this mouth, Father God, is blessed by you, is touched and anointed by you.

Father, I am just a mere mouthpiece, Father God. Father, I pray that you hide me behind you, that you cover me, that you clothe me with the precious blood of your Son, Jesus.

Father, Lord, help me reduce, that you may increase, Father God. Lord, give us the spirit of understanding, that we may apply today's message, in Jesus' mighty name we pray. Amen.

Hallelujah, praise you, Jesus. You know, I was very blessed about the song earlier.

Can you, are you able to just put a few lines on that, the blood of Jesus that, like Jesus, left his Heaven's throne? I just want to revisit that part.

There you go, hallelujah. Our Lord Jesus left behind Heaven's throne to establish the throne here in our heart. Amen, church.

Jesus left behind Heaven's throne to establish the throne inside of us. Established the throne in our heart. Amen, church.

No wonder that when Jesus Christ came out from the wilderness, I'm sure I have said this numerous times in the past, that the first and foremost, the number one preaching of our Lord Jesus Christ when he was coming out of the wilderness, when, you know, Lord Jesus Christ coming out of the wilderness, is that, Mark, that his ministry has formally started.

And the first preaching that he has said is, "Repent, for the kingdom of God has come." Amen.

Jesus left Heaven's throne to establish his kingdom in us. Amen, church.

So we are already citizens of another kingdom. And that is the kingdom of God. Amen.

In that of the world, amen. Jesus himself, Matthew 12:28 says that the kingdom of God has come upon you.

Therefore be subjected to the King of the kingdom of God where your loyalty resides. Amen, church.

Where does your loyalty reside? Is it the king of the kingdom of God, where your loyalty resides? Amen, church.

If that king of kings is the king of the kingdom, where your loyalty resides, his name is Jesus.

Then that means that our loyalty ought to be with Jesus. Amen, church.

I remember David said earlier, those of you who have the near translation in your Bible, after the word, if you have the near translation, that's the word after the word, he advised that you block it like block your ears in mind.

So that word after the word, I'm not going to use the word after that near at all in this kind of hope because I don't understand that word.

So my dear brothers and sisters, as Christians, we are no different than the world, amen, church.

And we need to have that something shifted in us. We need to have a separation in us from the world, amen, church.

You know, how can I make it personal? You know, I'm, oh, I shouldn't be crying. I don't understand. Whenever I say that, my eyes will, oh, church.

So that's the position of the Believers church. Amen, church.

Hallelujah. Let's all stand up. Let's have communion.

Oh, wait a minute. Let's have a prayer for the elements.

Oh, there you go. Most gracious Lord, our Almighty Father, we thank you, Lord, for this time, Father God, to partake of the communion.

Father, we lift up to you the bread, symbolizing the broken body of our Lord Jesus Christ. We ask, Lord God, that you bless this bread and that as we partake of it, Father, may it remind us of the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross.

May it remind us, Lord God, of the love that you have for us, that you sent your only Son to die for our sins.

May it remind us of the forgiveness of sins, Lord, that we received through the broken body of Jesus.

Father, we thank you for this bread, and we partake of it now in Jesus' name. Amen.

Let's take the bread. (audience applauding)

Likewise, Lord, we thank you for this cup, symbolizing the blood of Jesus shed for the remission of our sins.

Thank you, Lord God, that your blood cleanses us from all unrighteousness.

Father, we ask, Lord God, that as we partake of this cup, may it remind us of the new covenant that we have with you, sealed by the blood of Jesus.

And may it remind us, Father God, of the victory that we have in Christ Jesus, that by His blood, we are forgiven, we are washed clean, and we have eternal life.

Father, we bless this cup, and we partake of it now in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen, let's take the cup.

Hallelujah, Father, we thank you, we praise you, we glorify you.

Lord, we thank you for the privilege of being able to come before your presence, Lord God, and partake of the communion.

Father, we ask Lord God that as we have done this, Lord, may it be as a remembrance of the sacrifice of Jesus, and may it always remind us, Lord God, that we are transformed, we are changed, and we are empowered by the precious blood of Jesus.

Father, we thank you, and we give you all the glory and honor in Jesus' name, amen.

Amen, let's give the Lord a clap offering. Hallelujah, praise you, Lord Jesus. Glory, glory to your name, Lord.

Shall we proceed with the Lord's prayer? Hallelujah, pray with me.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we also forgive our debtors.

And do not bring us to the time of trial, but rescue us from the evil one. Amen.

Amen. Let's give the Lord one more clap offering. Hallelujah, praise You, Jesus. Glory, glory to Your name, Lord. Hallelujah.

Amen. Hallelujah. Praise You, Jesus. Thank You, Lord.

We thank You for Your word today. And we thank You for the message that You've given us.

Lord, help us to draw the line and to separate ourselves from the world.

Lord, help us to live according to Your will and to serve You wholeheartedly.

Father, I pray for everyone that with the Lord's leading, they will be strengthened in their faith and in their commitment to You.

And Father, I pray for anyone who is still struggling with serving two masters, Lord. I ask that You would give them the discernment and the conviction to fully surrender to You, to fully live for You.

Father, we thank You for the Coronel family and we pray for their safe journey back to the Philippines and their safe return to Aldershot.

Lord, we pray that their visit would be a blessing to their family and that You would use them to bring others closer to You.

Thank You, Lord. Thank You for Your great love and Your faithfulness.

We give You all the glory and honor in Jesus' name. Amen.

Amen. Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Jesus.

Church, before we end, I just want to remind us that next Sunday, we will be having our annual Christmas celebration service.

So it's going to be a special time of worship and celebration. And I encourage everyone to invite your family, your friends, your loved ones to join us as we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.

So invite them next Sunday, same time, same place, to our Christmas celebration service. Amen.

Let's give the Lord a clap offering as we end our service. Hallelujah. Praise You, Jesus. Glory, glory to Your name, Lord.

Amen. Amen. God bless you, church. Have a wonderful week. We'll see you next Sunday. God bless you all. Bye.
