Elevating Faith: Embrace Change and Deeper Intimacy

by NOW Church
on Nov 05, 2023

Hi NOW, your chatbot for this sermon is being created and we'll email you at joe.simon.facebook@gmail.com when it's ready

Well, he won't be innovating the rise. He said he'll never leave. My house was built on you tonight, holding your name, everybody in your way. No one can do it, yeah, my way. Holy is your name. Another guy, no one here. And who else can lead us, lead us to freedom? No one, no one, no one. And who else can heal all our sins and diseases? No one. Hello and tear down the toilet one. And who else can silence? No one, nowhere, no one, nowhere. Nobody like you, nobody like nobody like you, you. No one knows nowhere, nobody like you, you are nowhere, no one, nowhere.

As we go to the throne room of grace, Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we thank you, God, for your presence that is in this place. And we know that, Lord God, you said in your word, "I am," that means you encompass all things. Oh God, you're a God, Lord God, that's incomparable. God, you're a God, Lord God, that there is no name that's good enough, oh God, to describe you.

O God, for some days, Lord God, you're a Waymaker. Some days, Lord God, you're a miracle worker. Some days, Lord God, you're a Healer, oh God. Some days, Lord God, you're a lawyer in the courtroom. Father God, some days, Lord God, you are the God that makes a way out of no way. God, Lord God, there are some days, Lord God, that you just hold us in the Midnight Hour. God, when there is no one around, Lord God, that we can call, you said, "I am that I am," that means I am everything that you need. There is not a person on Earth that can fill you like I can.

So God, we say thank you for being all that we've needed. Thank you, God, for being healer. Thank you, God, for being way maker. Thank you, God, for being deliverer. Thank you, Lord God, for being the one that went and found our children. Thank you, Lord God, for being the one that repaired our marriages. Thank you, Lord God, for which the doctor says there's nothing more that I can do. You, Lord God, and you became the Healer, the deliverer, the one that broke us out on the touches of the enemy. We thank you, God.

We thank you, God, so we came this morning for an audience of one. We came to see you. We came to worship, Lord you. We came, Lord God, to say hallelujah, hallelujah, holy, holy, holy, holy to the Lamb of God. This morning we thank you, Lord God, and we say today, do whatever you want to do in this place, have your way. Come on, somebody say have your way. Come on, speak to him, say God have your way. We know what the run she says, but God have your way. Do what you want, how you want, with whom you want, where you want, just do it.

Welcome to all of you all that are in the building and to our online audience! We want to thank you for stopping by and give you an opportunity to be a person of impact. Go across the aisle to someone you don't know and give them a hug and say thank you. We are people impacting people! Now, turn your attention to our now announcements. This is the year of yes, and if you're looking to get all that God has for you, let me hear you say yes! Freedom is something we cherish in this country. The idea of a free society is embedded into the very core of our nation. Many have died defending it, and many have fought diligently to preserve it. So where has it gone? We have become a nation bound by division, chained by hatred, and consumed by selfishness. There's an epidemic of violence, poverty, and brokenness. The Bible tells us we're called to be free, but it also says to use that freedom to serve one another humbly in love. This is something that is missing in America today. We celebrate Independence Day, but it's time we recognize that true independence is found only in a lasting dependence on God. For the Spirit of the Lord is there, there is freedom. It's a blessing to be an American citizen. Now, if you believe that with all your heart, mind, soul, and spirit, give God a clap offering all over the building. Amen.

Let's get our declaration prayer up on the screen before we go into our communion service. Our declaration prayer, and as we say, we recite our declaration, remember this is from our heart, this is what we're declaring. We are declaring victory in all aspects of life. So let's read it together now:

Declaration is what now is my time for healing, favor, blessings, and freedom. I am now anointed, appointed, and qualified. I have now faith, endurance, acceptance, and strength. I have defined wealth, prosperity, and legacy. Now I am empowered, victorious, and triumphed. I now walk in exceedingly abundant joy, peace, and love in Jesus' name. Amen.

At NowChurchFL.com, you can learn more about our ministries, stay connected, give, and much more. As we prepare our hearts and minds, we are going to read the passage of scriptures and then we conduct our communion. The communion is a very special time. We can only thank God for the opportunity to be able to partake in the Lord's Supper. As we recite our declaration, we are declaring victory in all aspects of life. We are declaring that we are now anointed, appointed, and qualified. We have faith, endurance, acceptance, and strength. We have defined wealth, prosperity, and legacy. We are now empowered, victorious, and triumphed. We now walk in exceedingly abundant joy, peace, and love in Jesus' name. Amen.

On Sundays, Pastor David and I would think about our Pastor David and how he was a man on a mission. We both grew up in the same household, our Father Bishop Campbell and the Churches of God and the Pentecostal faith. On the first Sunday, we would have our communion service and all the ladies were wearing white and all the men were wearing black, a real traditional service. I'm excited to know that the tradition of communion is still very powerful because it serves a purpose. The term communion is when people come together. The Bible speaks about it as early as the Book of Genesis. What God will come down in the cool of the evening and he would want to fellowship with Adam. We know the story when Adam fell and that communion was lost, but Jesus came to restore that communion. Even though men still struggle and fall, these types of traditions remind us of the importance of the communion with God.

John 13:1-5 says, “It was just before the Passover Festival. Jesus knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end. The evening meal was in progress, and the devil had already prompted Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, to betray Jesus. Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power and that he had come from God and was returning to God. So he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.”

When Jesus came to Simon Peter, he said, “Lord, are you going to wash my feet?” But Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.” Peter said, “No, you shall never wash my feet.” Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.” Then the Lord Simon Peter replied, “Not just my feet, but also my hands and my head!” Jesus replied, “Those who have had a bath need only to wash their feet; their whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you.”

I chose this particular passage of scripture because, as I mentioned earlier, in our traditional faith of Pentecost, we would have the washing of the Saints' feet. As a young man growing up in the church, I thought it was very awkward and weird that people would do that. How many of you had that experience before at your church where you come from? Raise your hand. As a kid growing up, I couldn't understand for the life of me why.

Good morning, church! I want to say happy Fourth of July weekend to you and your family. You could be at the beach, you could be at the park barbecuing, you could be laying out in the sun that we don't have, but you chose to come to church, and that means a lot. That says a lot to God that somebody is willing to make the sacrifice to lift up Jesus in the Broward County area. Somebody's willing to come out in South Florida and say I want to honor God.

Sherry asked why she should wash someone else's feet. It's crazy, that's an intimate thing, but Peter gave the natural response, "You're not gonna wash my feet." But after Jesus said to him, "I don't want you to feed it, you have no part, so if that's the case, go ahead and scrub me from top to the bottom." As Jesus was trying to demonstrate to Peter, even humility—somebody say humility—humility comes with communion. When you understand what Jesus has done for you, and he was humble enough even during that time to wash his disciples' feet, he's saying to you and I as an example we ought to have that same humble spirit.

When you see your brother and sister in distress, don't pass judgment. How many times we drive up and down the street and we see people waving? I know it's down to Hell, nobody's Boulevard. This young man, he always waves an American flag. Pastor David, if you go by that, but then he's waving that flag, and you see all the people who are degenerates as we define them in society, and we put our nose up and we just keep moving. But God is calling for a spirit of humble. He said, "Pastor Carlton said let them know that I love them." That's the most important thing in this hour of communion.

As you take now the wafer that we've provided for you, this is his body. It represents the brokenness, the suffering of the Cross. You may take now. Either scripture said he poured the wine innovation and he said to his disciples, "This represents my blood," and in representing my blood for the shedding and the remission of sins, you may take now and drink thereof.

Let us pray. Father, we thank you for this opportunity to come before your holy throne. Realize, oh God, that it's times like this that you desire your communion with your chosen loved ones. Lord, I pray that you continue to bless the hearts and the minds of your people. Hallelujah, for you sitting here where we are the salt of the world, and without salt, there will be no saving. God, we pray that we'll go forth with a new boldness. I pray for this ministry, God, and all those who hear, our special guests who are visiting with us this morning, their roles that they must play in leadership. Lord, I pray to anoint them in a special way. Continue to bless Pastor James and all our leaders and all of the members of this great congregation that will continue to be people impacting people. We do honor you, give you all the praises in your Son's name, amen and amen. God bless you and keep you.

It's our first Sunday of the month, and we always try to recognize all birthdays. If you were born in the greatest month of the year, praise the Lord! We have birthdays everywhere - young man in the black shirt, Miss Celia, Pastor Carlton, young lady in the green, twins, and PK. Let's make some noise for the birthday babies! We should improve the song and do the Stevie Wonder version.

This past Wednesday was explosive at Now Church. We had a Summer Revival taking place on Wednesday nights. If you want to get stronger in your faith, go back to our YouTube channel and watch the message on faith. We have some special guests here today from the Broward School Board member Mr. Danielle P. Fog and his family, and Chris Eddy who is running for Congress 25th district. Let's make them feel welcome!

We are so glad you are joining us here at Now Church! In our old Pentecostal Church, you'd be in church all day and someone would preach for about two hours. When they were done, people would praise the Lord and run the aisles. We are happy to tell you that you won't have that experience today. We are going to get you in and get you out. If you want to run or shout, you can, but we won't wait on you all day.

Scripture says in Philippians chapter 3 verses 7 through 17, "What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead."

Paul goes on to say in verse 12, "Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me." Brothers, we should all take such a view of things. If you think differently on some point, God will make it clear to you.

Let's give this teaching a title: The Next Level. Your next level is here! This is part two. If you want to hear part one, I would encourage you to go to our YouTube channel and catch part one. In order to go to the next level, it starts with you being closer to God. There are three ways to get closer to God. Firstly, you have to have the fear of God and begin to have a reference for who God is in your life. Secondly, develop the love for God. When you love somebody, you want to know more about them, you want to know where they are, and you want to spend time with them. That's what makes somebody want to come to church. That's how you know you love God; you want to be around in his presence. Lastly, remember the promises of God.

We stand still and refuse to hit the next level because we forget that time is a non-renewable resource and it's running out. We should be grateful for the moment we are in and live in the now. Every moment in our life is a now moment. We also lose interest in The Game of Life and stop personal growth. We should get excited about our life and take advantage of time.

First Timothy 4:7-9 says, "Don't waste time arguing over foolish ideas and silly myths and legends. Spend your time and energy in the exercise of keeping spiritually fit. Bodily exercise is all right, but spiritual exercise is much more important and it's tonic for all of you to do so. Exercise yourself spiritually, practice being a better Christian, because that will help you not only now in life, but also in the life to come."

It is important to love yourself as well as God and your neighbor. You cannot love your neighbor if you do not love yourself, and you cannot translate the love of God if you have hatred of self. So, it is important to get excited about who you are! You don't have to like what other people like, such as the way you do your hair, the music you listen to, or your cologne or perfume. You don't have to be loud, funny, or extroverted. You don't have to talk if you don't want to. You don't have to do things that don't make sense to you. You don't have to do things that don't make you money. You don't have to do things that don't make you happy. You don't have to do things that don't make you feel good. You don't have to do things that don't make you feel alive. You don't have to do things that don't make you feel like you are living your purpose. You don't have to do things that don't make you feel like you are making a difference in the world. You don't have to do things that don't make you feel like you are living your destiny. You don't have to do things that don't make you feel like you have a future. You don't have to do things that don't make you feel like you have hope.

Get excited about being short, healthy, having extra calories, your hairline, and who you are! Clap your hands that God gave you, that God allows you to be here, that God put purpose in you, put destiny in you, gave you a future, gave you a hope that you're here to make a difference in the world. Do not lose interest in who you are and who God is.

I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his suffering, becoming like him in his death. That's why I love what Paul says in verse 10, "I want to know Christ." That gets me every time. To have an interest in something means you want to know. Always stay hungry for information. An old man told me a long time ago, "You don't have to know everything, but you should be aware of everything." Some of us are just not aware of anything going on; we're just uninterested in it. We hate being around people that are only interested in themselves and never ask how you're doing or how your family is doing.

If you're interested in God, you will ask God what do you think of what I'm doing, are you pleased with the choices I'm making, are you pleased with how I'm living? Get interested in who God is in your life. We don't move forward because we don't want to pay the price. Going to the next level is costly; it's a process, and people who don't pay the price do the time. There are people in jail today because they didn't want to pay for something that they wanted to take for free. You can't take nobody's success for free. If you'll pay the price, you'll have it legally, and you'll have it as an opportunity to pass on to another generation.

When you rob something or when you steal something, the moment you're done with it, you can't hand it off to your next generation because it's not yours. So some of us that are living in a false success is not going to last. Some of us that are living a false joy or a false peace is not going to have longevity. But when you pay the price for the peace that you have, when you pay the price for the joy that's inside of you, when you pay the price for the love that's represented in your family, that's a legacy that's going to last.

You see me and my brother sitting here, 12 of 13 children. You'll find that same stability in all 12 children that are left here on Earth because my parents paid the price to have a home that was full of the love of God and the joy of the Lord. You can't just praise and pray and worship God in this house. The reason you get 13 kids to live right and to stay out of jail and off the streets is you got to have that in your home. You got to have that amongst you.

Those of you that have those small kids, you have to pray with those kids and you have to read them the word of God or it doesn't matter. Yes, it matters. It matters that you grab your spouse's hand and that you pray together. It matters that you grab your children's hands and that you pray together. It is important that you have God in your home and that you pray in the morning. It matters that your children walk in and see you praying.

That is the memory I have of my family, my mother and father. They were hard workers and great leaders, but that is not what I remember. What I remember is my mother on the side of her bed, kneeling down and wailing for her children, praying for her family. I remember my father with his Bible on his chest, asleep because he had been reading and studying the word. Going up to him to say good night, he was already knocked out. That is the image I have of my father.

My question to you today is what will be the leaving legacy memory of what your children will see? It is important that you press even when you don't feel like it. That is what press means. It is important that you press even when you are up against obstacles and even when you don't feel like you have what it takes. Paul is writing to Judaizers, people who are Christians but still do things according to the law of Judaism. He is letting them know that even though he knows the law, he has not obtained anything. He wants them to understand that beyond the law and rules, they have to know God for themselves because the rules are not going to keep them.

The law is not going to get them where they need to be, but they have to develop a relationship with the Lord. Paul says he presses after God, like God went after him. He is going to tackle all the things of God, like God rescued him. We all have been discouraged and hurt by the church, but we must not blame others for our lack of church attendance. We must press on and develop a relationship with the Lord.

Speak to us and make us feel some type of way, but hey, listen, we're going to take our chance and go right on back over to that Walmart. It's only at the church that we come off with all this criticism and all this judging and all these excuses. Oh, nobody spoke to me so I ain't going back, or that Pastor didn't wear a tie so I ain't going back, all the music was too loud so I ain't going back, oh they hurt my feelings, they talked about my clothes, I ain't going back, oh they told me I should do this and do all that, and we find all the excuses.

But Paul says, "I want to chase God down, and I'm going to tackle him like he tackled me." That means I'm holding on to you, and I'm never going to let you go. I don't care what happens, I don't care what it looks like, I don't care what I feel like, I don't care what it feels like to me. You're not gonna feel safe all the time, come on, get real up in here, you're not gonna always feel righteous. Oh yeah, sometimes you're gonna want to cuss a few people out, and to be honest with you, a few people do need to be cussed out. Look straight ahead, glory to God, but that's not your job. Tell somebody that's what somebody else.

Hold on, guys, let me just teach for a second, I appreciate the help. Hold on, I just, I, I, but Paul says I press. Now watch this, here's the other thing that press means. Press, I liken it to swimming. In other words, it means to reach, watch this, and it means to kick, and it's almost like a swimmer. In order for you to swim, there's two motions you gotta have. You got to be reaching to push the water, and then you gotta kick with your feet to go forward. So it's almost like you're kicking, you're kicking with grace, and you're reaching with faith. It's almost like you kicked the past behind you, and then you reach for something new.

See, you need the grace of God to understand that whatever you used to do, you ain't got to do no more, that whatever used to hold you back can't hold you back no more. But you take the grace of God and say his grace covers a multitude of sin, so I'm kicking that weed habit out of my life, I'm kicking that depression out of my life, I'm kicking those suicidal thoughts out of my life, I'm kicking that loneliness out of my life, I'm kicking that poverty out of my life. Where am I? I might have started broke, but I ain't gonna end up broke. I might have started brokenhearted, but I ain't gonna walk through this whole year with my heart broken. I might have started discouraged, but I'm walking through this year with absolute courage.

So this is what he's saying, he's saying I'm pressing, I'm kicking, and you don't kick what? Write this down, you kick with grace because you can't do it without it. You can't kick your past if you ain't got the strength of God. You're not going to be able to get over what has been done to you unless you grab a hold of the grace of God. Without the grace of God, this thing is going to wake you up every morning. Every day that you wake up, your past is going to hit you right in your face.

I wish I could just demonstrate that. Who on Scorpio, you go viral then, right? Pass it on, slap somebody's all on it. That's what your past does to you every day that you wake up. You can be 47 years old, 67 years old, five, you'll remember something when you was five years old. You can have money in the bank, sweetheart, family be doing well, everything looks fine on the outside, and there's technically nothing wrong with your family, but there'll be something from two years ago that will slap you, and you can't get over that on your own.

Because God gave us something called memory. God put that there. Now he takes your sins, watch this, and the scripture says he puts them to the sea of forgetfulness, but he allows you to remember your sins. Now why is that? Now why is that so you can feel guilty every day? So that you can walk in here today and not really—some of you really wanted to praise the Lord, you really wanted to get into it, but you didn't live right this week. You could tell the guilty ones; they were like this cow say you all up in my Kool-Aid, pasta today.

Your memory is there to help you testify. Don't do it, I told you stop nine o'clock, we got to keep this thing moving, but 11 o'clock I got you. I'm gonna cut up at 11 o'clock, I'm telling you that in advance. I'm telling you in advance, we gonna run at 11 o'clock. Are you conservative people going on and happy little donuts and go to Chick-fil-A or wherever you going? Well, we're gonna have some church at 11 o'clock, I'm telling you right now.

But yo, your memory is there to testify to say I know what it is. I know what it is to come out. I know what it is to be all the way down there and watch God's grace lift me up out of a life I thought I would be dead and gone by now, but I thank God that he kept me through the storm and through the rain, and when people gave up on me, I know that it was God that kept me whispering in my ear, "You can make it." That even in the crack house, he was whispering, "You can make it." That even when I was locked up in jail, he was whispering, "You can make it." And even when I made so many mistakes in my life, he was whispering, "You can make it."

Oh yeah, they blocked my number, they went the other way when they saw me coming, but God stayed right there by my side. David said, "If I make my bed in hell, there you will be. Goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I'll dwell in the house of the Lord forever." Can you do you know who you are for goodness and mercy to follow you? Like think about that for a second. Who are you that goodness and mercy follows you wherever you go? Like even when you are making the biggest mistakes of your life, goodness and mercy is right there just to serve you.

Ah, goodness and mercy is right there to hold you even when you are not worthy of anything, but yet goodness and mercy is assigned to you. Here's what faith is, write it down. Faith is supporting the God idea of who you are. Faith is understanding that God thinks I'm great. I support that. God thinks that I'm more than a conqueror. I support that. God thinks that I'm healed. I'm going to support that. God believes that my children are blessed. I'm going to support that. God thinks I'm the head and not the tail. I'm going to support that. God believes I should be blessed in the city and in the field. I must support that. God believes I should be blessed when I come and when I go.

I'm going to support that God says the joy of the Lord—do you know what that means? That means you can't even make me happy if you wanted to. I got so much joy inside of me that whatever you bringing to the table, that's for you. I got to tell somebody I got my own joy, I don't hear nobody in here. I got my own peace, thank you, but hey listen, it's all good in the hood over here. You can tell people that have come to understand who God is in their life because they walk in a way that causes for an atmosphere to create something new.

Here's why you're still alive. Sometimes we think we could not have been one of those tragedies during COVID, when those bullets were going off when we were in places we weren't supposed to be. Oh, it could have been you. We think that when we get in these cars and we drive and these roads are so wet and whatnot, and you hear about so many different lives that are taken, and yours is still here, and you go, well, I'm lucky. You're not lucky; there are things God needs you to do, there are things that you're supposed to be creating.

So a couple of things I need to tell you in closing: number one, play softly, don't max God out. So Paul was saying, listen, all of you that think you know and have been walking with God all your life and all this kind of stuff, he's saying to you today, he says stop maxing God out, sit yourself down and hear the word of the Lord. There's something fresh God's going to give you. For those of you that think you've seen it all, done it all, he says sit down, God wants to give you something else.

And here's why you got to press, write it down to experience victory that's on the next level. When you begin to push and when you begin to go to that next level, there's a whole new level of victory that's waiting for you, and you'll receive it when you begin to get there. Let me give you one more text, Genesis chapter 1 verse 26-28 says, "Then God said, 'Let us make man in his own image and likeness and let them rule over the fish and the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth and over all the creation creatures that move along the ground.' So God created man in his own image, and in the image of God, he created him male and female. God blessed them and said to them, 'Be fruitful and increase in numbers, fill the earth and subdue it, rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.'"

We are to rule, increase, and subdue the Earth. God has given us authority to take control of our lives and stop waiting on people to push us around. We should act on life, and life will react to us. This week, declare that it will be blessed. Say that you will make money, your children will be blessed, your spouse will treat you right, and you will have a healthy body. It is our responsibility to have more and not lack wanting anything. We have a duty to subdue the Earth and bring light to the darkness. God loves us the way we are, but he loves us too much to leave us the way we are.

We should not play games with each other and always push each other to do better. What I'm doing is pushing you to recognize your greatness. I'm telling you that you have a gold mine in your hands, and you need to get to work with it. When the president recognizes you, no, that's not what I'm talking about. You need to acknowledge that you have it, and when you do, it will begin to manifest in your actions. You have to say, "I got it," and then get to work. People may not understand or encourage you, but you have to get in your spirit that this is what God said to do.

When you do, greatness comes at a price. It may not be easy, but it will hit its stride and explode. God is setting you up and strengthening you so you can handle the fame. He's giving you stamina so you can preach to a crowd and still be encouraged. We have to pray and thank God for his blessings, favor, and anointing. He's giving us the next level within all of us.

We thank you for the strength that's needed to go to that next level in you. Father, I don't want nobody in here to walk out of here without reaching that next level spiritually in you today and right now. Would you lift your hands, church, and let the Holy Spirit just minister to you? Father, we thank you for every hand that's lifted that you're ministering to them right at the point of their need. And I just thank you, Lord, for those that need more courage, those that need more peace, those that are just tired and weary. I pray strength upon you right now in Jesus' name. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for that.

Father, I thank you for the peace. Somebody just needs to know it's going to be all right. So we just thank you for that right now in Jesus' name. Be that portion to them in this area, and Father, I just thank you that there's no turning back from this point on. The clock is ticking, we do have to move, and it starts right now. Would you pray this prayer with me if you want to make sure that your heart is right with the Lord? Say, "Father God, I ask forgiveness of all my sins." Say this with me: "Jesus, wash me with your blood, cleanse me with your blood, and I receive the gift of salvation in Jesus' name."

Look at me right quick, take your hands, turn it up towards heaven like this, close your eyes, and I just want you to have a time of meditation to receive what God has for you. And Father, we just thank you right now to receive the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the Gift of the Holy Spirit. We pray for increase for your anointing on us, strengthen us, their Heavenly Father. We'll be so careful to give you the glory beyond the praise. Just remain just like this for 30 seconds. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, amen.

Take your hands and take somebody by the hand that's next to you. Now you're going to do some work. Pastor Charlie, are you going to do some work? The same anointing that's on your life, I want you to give that to the person that's next to you right quick. You don't got to know them, I just want you to speak a word of encouragement over them. Father, I pray for my brother, I pray for my sister, I don't know them, I may know them, but I still don't know everything they're going through, so I thank you just cover them in the blood, bless their children, bless their resources, bless this week for them, let it be absolutely blessed extraordinary.

We'll be careful to give you the glory beyond the praise in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in Jesus' name. Now can we clap our hands for our neighbors? Breaker, amen. What an amazing word, amen. How many people ready to go to the next level? I'm so excited about that work.

Hey listen, I want you to prepare your hearts for giving. Ushers, pass offering envelopes, raise your hand if you need to offer an envelope. I'm going to share a scripture with you, and then we're going to proceed with this service, amen. Hebrews 11:1 is a very familiar scripture. Before you start writing, I need you to look up here. Let's read it: "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

Now is the opportunity to sow a seed like never before. We are still in the seed sowing portion of the year of yes, and what we are seeing now is just the beginning. We have yet to see the harvest of the year of yes. When you have the opportunity to sow a seed, there are five ways to give: cash, check, credit card, and swiping your card. No matter how you get your seed in the ground, make sure you sow a seed because you will need it this week. The first 10% of your income is your tithe, and anything over and above that is your offering.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. How many people have some things they are hoping for today? How many people understand that faith is the substance of things hoped for and evidence of things not seen? We are in the year of yes at the Now Church, and this is the opportunity to plant some seeds that will change generations. Let us take part in what we are doing at the Now Church and sow a seed into a specific word for our lives. When we do this, it does something different because we are saying that is our word, our revelation, and our understanding.

Let us make this a personal opportunity to sow a seed into that word. When we leave here, we will remember on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Sowing a seed is a great way to start any situation. How many people believe that, and how many people will sow a seed today? Let us hold it up and pray over it. Don't forget Revival Wednesdays starting this Wednesday with Pastor Charlie. If you have prayer requests, please send them to prayer@nowchurchfl.com.

We also want to encourage you to join one of our servant leader teams. Our biggest event of the year is our SummerSlam Sports Camp. It's only about two weeks away, and we already have 250 kids registered. We invite the Fire Department, Police Department, and the Superintendent to come out and speak to the kids. We will feed them breakfast and lunch every day, and they will get a backpack full of school supplies at the end of the week. We are still believing God for more coaches in the areas of golf, tennis, and volleyball. We are still taking in more registrations, and if you think you might run into some people that might have kids that may need to be a part of this program, please lift your hand, and we will get you a flyer to put into their hands. SummerSlam is free, so let's be a blessing to the kids.

Seven years ago, I met a young man at Pastor Carlton's old school, Pines Middle School. I ran into that young man about a year ago, and he said he recognized me from SummerSlam. We definitely love what we do, and we impart into these kids' lives, and they never forget it. He didn't remember my face, but he remembered me pulling him to the side of the gym because he was acting up. We have a lasting impression on these kids, so let's just continue to be a blessing.

We want to recognize anyone that's here for the very first time. If you're here for the very first time, we want to acknowledge you and show some love. Look at these people all over the building! Come on, make some noise! All these newcomers that are standing, remain standing. Somebody's going to come and say hey to you. Can somebody get up and say hey to these ladies over here? What's up, what's up, what's up? Hey, how you doing? To all my newcomers, we're glad to have you, and we would love to have you join our Now family. We have some snacks and some gifts we want to give to you, so would you clap your hands for our newcomers? You're welcome to walk out now and follow her.

Hold your offering up, and I'm going to pray over it. Lord, we thank you so much for the seeds coming into the house today. We thank you that now faith is the only answer, we thank you that now grace is the only answer, and we thank you that as we're in this year, this seed represents harvest, the seed represents breakthrough, the seed represents deliverance, and the seed represents something new that will take place in our life this week. In Jesus' name, if you believe that, somebody shout amen.

It's Tuesday, Lord have mercy. Who's barbecuing? Don't forget on Wednesday, Pastor call us. That's your birthday Wednesday, right? We might have a little party out here, Pastor, and then Elsa, your birthday coming, it's gonna be like a lot of parties around here. I'm just saying popping bottles and carrying on in church. David, David, they were told that y'all were going out of the country. I was asked to teach them basketball, and it's going to be a problem. We love y'all, so let's stand to our feet. Don't forget Wednesday night for midweek service, and then we're back here.

Do me a favor and grab one of those flyers on your way out and invite somebody to the church so that they can hear these great messages and experience the love of God. Let's put up our hands and begin his prayer. It's good to see Miss Penny back there. We love you, Lord, and pray for now opportunities, resources, ideas, dreams, homes, land, businesses, anointing, love, faith, body, and life with new beginnings. We declare it, we decree it, and give me a big yes, yes. God bless you.
