As we gather together as a congregation, we are reminded of our unique calling and identity in Christ. We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people. We have been called out of darkness into His marvelous light, and this calling is not just for a select few but for all who have answered the call of God. Our journey with God is a process, one that mirrors the Old Testament priesthood and the ministry of Jesus Christ Himself.
In the Old Testament, the priesthood was a privilege reserved for the tribe of Levi. These individuals were set apart to minister unto the Lord and to bridge the gap between God and man. However, God's ultimate plan was for all of His people to be priests, to have direct access to Him. This plan was fulfilled in the New Testament, where the priesthood of believers was established through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
Jesus, our High Priest, went through a process of baptism, anointing, and public declaration at the age of 30, marking the beginning of His ministry. Similarly, we too must go through a process. We must repent, be baptized in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of our sins, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. This process cleanses us, anoints us, and declares us as sons and daughters of God.
The Holy Ghost empowers us to be witnesses of Christ, to lay hands on the sick, and to see them recover. It is not the will of God for us to remain stagnant, but to step out in faith, demonstrating the kingdom of God wherever we go. We are called to minister not just within the walls of the church but in our everyday lives, at our jobs, and in our communities.
We must embrace our identity as part of the royal priesthood, understanding that we have been given authority and power to minister healing and deliverance in Jesus' name. When we encounter someone in need, we should not hesitate to pray for them, believing in the power of God to perform miracles.
As we continue to walk in obedience and submission to the Holy Spirit, we will see God move mightily through us. We are empowered to bring heaven to earth, to touch lives, and to make a difference in the world around us. Let us not shy away from the process God has called us to, for through it, we are transformed and made ready to fulfill our divine purpose.
Key Takeaways:
- We are a royal priesthood, not by birthright or human selection, but by God's divine calling and the process of spiritual rebirth. This priesthood is not limited to a select few but is extended to all who believe and follow Christ. Our identity as priests empowers us to minister and intercede for others, carrying the presence of God wherever we go. [49:33]
- The process of becoming part of this priesthood involves repentance, baptism in Jesus' name, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost. This transformative process is not a mere ritual but a profound change that empowers us to walk in newness of life, authority, and divine purpose. It is a journey that requires daily commitment and openness to the leading of the Spirit. [01:59:19]
- The Holy Ghost is not just an experience but a declaration from heaven that we are God's children, called to serve in His kingdom. When we speak in tongues, it is a sign of God's indwelling presence and a proclamation of our divine sonship. This empowerment is for service, to be witnesses of Christ's love and power to the world. [02:00:26]
- Our authority as believers is not dependent on our human strength or ability but on the power of the Holy Spirit within us. When we pray for healing or deliverance, it is not by our words but by the authority given to us through Christ. We must step out in faith, trusting that God will work through us to bring about His will on earth. [02:01:23]
- The purpose of our calling is to demonstrate the kingdom of God beyond the church walls. We are equipped to bring transformation to our cities and communities by exercising our God-given authority and power. When we understand and embrace our identity in Christ, we become catalysts for revival and change. [02:02:15]

Day 1: Embracing Our Priestly Identity
Believers are called to a royal priesthood, a concept that transcends the Old Testament's limited priesthood of the tribe of Levi. This new identity is not based on heritage or human selection but on a divine calling that is accessible to all who embrace the transformative power of Christ. As members of this royal priesthood, individuals are empowered to minister and intercede for others, carrying the divine presence into every aspect of their lives. This calling is a profound responsibility, inviting believers to reflect God's love and grace in their daily interactions and to serve as conduits of His power in the world.
"you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ." - 1 Peter 2:5 ESV
Reflection: How can you live out your priestly identity in your everyday interactions with others?
Day 2: The Transformative Process of Spiritual Rebirth
The journey to becoming part of the royal priesthood involves a series of steps that mirror the ministry of Jesus Christ. Repentance, baptism in Jesus' name, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost are not mere rituals but essential components of a profound transformation. This process signifies a rebirth into a new life of authority and divine purpose. It requires daily commitment and a willingness to follow the Spirit's guidance, allowing believers to walk in the fullness of their calling and to experience the power of God in their lives. [01:59:19]
"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light." - 1 Peter 2:9 ESV
Reflection: What steps can you take today to deepen your commitment to the transformative process of spiritual rebirth?
Day 3: Empowered by the Holy Ghost for Service
The Holy Ghost is more than an experience; it is a heavenly declaration of our status as children of God, called to serve in His kingdom. Speaking in tongues is a sign of God's indwelling presence and a proclamation of divine sonship. This empowerment is not for personal edification alone but for service—to be witnesses of Christ's love and power. Believers are equipped to demonstrate the reality of the kingdom of God through their words and actions, impacting the world with the transformative power of the Gospel. [02:00:26]
"And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you." - John 14:16-17 ESV
Reflection: In what ways can you allow the Holy Ghost to work through you to serve others today?
Day 4: Exercising Authority Through Christ
The authority granted to believers is not rooted in their own strength or capabilities but in the power of the Holy Spirit within them. When praying for healing or deliverance, it is the authority of Christ that operates through faith. This divine empowerment enables believers to act as agents of God's will on earth, trusting that He will work through them to accomplish His purposes. It is a call to step out in faith, to be bold in prayer, and to expect miracles as a testament to God's power and love. [02:01:23]
"Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you." - Luke 10:19 ESV
Reflection: What situation in your life requires you to step out in faith and exercise the authority you have through Christ?
Day 5: Catalysts for Revival and Change
Understanding and embracing our identity in Christ is essential for becoming catalysts for revival and change in our communities. As part of the royal priesthood, believers are equipped to bring transformation not just within the church walls but in every sphere of influence. By exercising the authority and power given by God, they can initiate a ripple effect of spiritual renewal and societal transformation. This divine purpose calls for active engagement in the world, demonstrating the kingdom of God through acts of love, service, and the proclamation of the Gospel. [02:02:15]
"And he said to them, 'Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.'" - Mark 16:15 ESV
Reflection: How can you be a catalyst for change in your community by demonstrating the kingdom of God in practical ways?
Let's lift our hands toward heaven, all across this place.
Oh, we love you, Jesus. We worship you. We worship you, mighty God.
We're here; you're the reason that we're in this place. Jesus, we thank you, Jesus. We thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus.
What an honor to be in the presence of God. At the mention of His name, He shows up. When we begin to worship in faith, His presence enters the room, and when His presence is here, anything is possible.
Whatever need you may have, whatever weight you have carried into this place, in just a moment's time, in the presence of God, can begin to dissipate and begin to disappear.
That's why the enemy will fight us so much to get us to not bind, to not come together, because he understands that there’s power in unity.
In praise together, we begin to worship together. Yes, we can worship at home. Yes, you can worship like Paul in a prison cell, but there’s something when we come together with the body of Christ that chains can begin to break.
I’m thankful for the freedom that I feel here this evening. So thankful to be here at Apostolic Church. Thank you, Pastor Michael, for the opportunity to be here.
I want to go into the word of the Lord together this evening, and I'm going to read a familiar portion of scripture from 1st Peter, chapter 2.
I had the honor and privilege to pastor in the nation of Spain for 19 years before the Lord redirected us to oversee the different works in Europe. Now we travel throughout Europe, 49 countries, representing the European region.
I was in Ukraine last year; I’ll be in Russia this year, trying to make sure we get both sides covered. We have churches and believers on both sides. Let’s continue to pray for them during that conflict.
The Lord is doing great things around the world, and there is a global harvest beginning to happen in Europe and other nations. The Lord has placed my family and I in Europe, and we’ve begun to see a great breakthrough in the European nations.
I ask that you would pray for us, that God would continue to lead us, guide us, give us wisdom, and we want to follow the voice of the Lord.
I truly believe it’s God’s timing for Europe. It’s a place that’s very secular, very, in some parts, anti-God or agnostic or atheist. But in the midst of it all, God is beginning to break through.
In the midst of people’s unbelief, God is beginning to show Himself, and He’s raising up an army throughout Europe, and I believe around the world.
It’s just a small part of what God is doing. I ask that you would pray for my family and I. This month, I’ll be in Greece, I’ll be in Italy, I’ll be in France, Germany, visiting with churches and believers throughout those areas.
God is doing amazing things, and I’m so excited to be here. It’s exciting to hear what God is doing at Apostolic Church here in Dallas and through the people of God, your pastor, your leaders.
It’s just exciting. It feels so good to be here. I feel a freshness; there’s a peace of the Holy Ghost here, and I do believe I have a word for us this evening.
1st Peter, chapter 2, verse 9 says, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you.”
Everyone say, “He called you.” He called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
You’re a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people. You guys are different. You’ve been called out of darkness into His light.
There’s a purpose; there’s a reason He’s called us. The reason we’re here tonight is because we’ve answered a call. You may be in different stages of answering that call, but the reason we’re here is because we are in that process of answering the call of God.
I would like us, before we sit down, if we could one more time, let’s lift our hands toward heaven and ask that the Lord would speak to us individually, that He would speak to us collectively, speak to us as a church body.
Lord Jesus, I thank you for the opportunity that we have to be in your presence.
Lord, I thank you for what you are doing at Apostolic Church. I thank you for what you are doing in the individual lives that are here and in the collective body that is here.
We open up our hearts, our minds to receive your word. We ask that you would speak to us, both individually and collectively.
Lord, I take dominion and authority over every doubt, every fear, everything that would be contrary to your will, everything that would be contrary to what you would want to do in this place.
In the name of Jesus, I loose faith; I loose revelation to flow as your word goes forth.
Lord, let our minds be open to receive through revelation what your word would speak to each of us.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. In Jesus’ name, one more time, let’s clap our hands as an offering to Jesus.
You may be seated.
The Apostle Peter wrote to the New Testament church, reminding them of their calling, reminding them of their purpose. The Bible also says in Romans 8 and 30, “Moreover, whom He did predestinate, them He also called.”
Everyone say, “Called.” And whom He called, them He also justified.
So the reason that you are here, the reason that I’m here tonight, is because you were called.
You may not have known why it was that you got up this morning and decided to come to church, but I believe that there was a calling.
It may not have been an audible voice, but there was something in your spirit you felt a calling that drew you, that said, “I need to get into the presence of God.”
As we begin to worship here tonight, there was a calling, a deeper calling that has pulled you even deeper and deeper as we begin to worship Him.
Here in our passage, in our scripture that we read, the writer reminds us that they are not an ordinary people, but they are a people that have been called out from darkness into light.
In our text here, it’s written to a church that has experienced the baptism of the Holy Ghost. They’ve been baptized in the name of Jesus, and the Apostle reminds them that something unique has happened to them.
When they received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, a transition happened in them. They are now a chosen generation; they are now a royal priesthood.
God had chosen them; He had filled them with His Spirit, and now they are walking in a new authority.
Peter is trying to point something out; he said there’s something different about you now. What you have experienced has changed you.
You’re now a royal priesthood. What God had planned from the beginning, what God had desired from the beginning, had begun to come to pass.
The plan of God was for there to be a priesthood of believers that would have the right to go directly to God to offer up spiritual sacrifices.
The Bible says, “Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus.”
So because of that priesthood, because we have been called, because now that anointing of the Holy Ghost has come upon us, now we can step into the presence of God today and lift up our hands, and we are immediately ushered into His presence.
We understand that because of the fall of Adam, because Adam sinned, his sin separated mankind from God.
It was in the book of Genesis that we see a perfect relationship with God. It was in the cool of the day that Adam walked with God; he communed with God.
But God’s plan from the beginning was to have a relationship with His most precious creation.
The Bible says, “But sin entered into the world.” So by one man’s disobedience, many were made sinners.
It was there in the garden that the relationship with God was broken.
So we see in the Old Testament, we see God as He institutes the priesthood in order to try to bridge the gap that was created by man’s sin.
God would set aside the tribe of Levi to be chosen especially to handle the duties of the priesthood.
It would be this select group of individuals that would have the privilege, the honor of communing with God.
It would be this group of Levites; they alone would be selected.
It would be this select group of individuals that would be the teachers, the scribes, the musicians; they would serve in the tabernacle.
It would be these select people that would minister unto the Lord, and because of man’s state, it would be this select group of Levites that would bridge the gap between God and man.
It did not matter if you desired to minister in the tabernacle; if you were not born into the right family, you could not minister in the tabernacle.
It did not matter if you had a heart that followed after God and loved the things of God, that wanted to serve in the ministry in the tabernacle; it was off-limits to you unless you were born into the tribe of Levi.
Unless you were born into that special called group of people, you could not serve.
You could go in; you could have them offer sacrifices for you. You could ask for forgiveness; you could be in awe at the presence of God that surrounded the tabernacle.
You could feel the presence of God, but you were not allowed to serve in that special ministry.
This was a ministry that was passed down from father to son. This was a ministry that had many restrictions, many requirements in order to serve.
If you look at and study the Old Testament text about the different things that they could not do, even if they were born into that priesthood, they couldn’t serve if they had any blindness, if they had any lameness, if they had a broken foot, if they had a blemished eye.
The Bible says if they had a flat nose, they could not serve in the tabernacle.
There were special clothes that they had to put on; there were special garments that they had to wear.
One of the requirements for them was that they had to be at least 30 years of age to serve in the tabernacle.
But besides that, after hitting the age of 30, there was a process that they had to go through.
The book of Leviticus outlined the process and the requirements for them to step into the priesthood to serve in the presence of God.
One, the son of the high priest would be taken, and they would submerge him in water. He would be washed; he had to make sure that he was cleansed before he could serve in the presence of a holy God.
He had to be washed; that was part of the process that he had to go through.
The second thing that happened with this new candidate who would enter into the ministry was that they would take oil and pour the oil over his head.
This would be an anointing; it would flow from his head down his beard to his feet.
This would be a sign of separation that said that this man is now separated to serve; he is now holy unto me.
He is now in that process to be able to serve in my ministry, in the ministry of the priesthood.
And number three, there would be a public declaration that this was the new high priest.
The elder would take the younger, and he would come out before the people and declare, “This is my son. He’s been washed; he’s had an anointing.”
Now he would declare him to the people; he would declare that he was now to serve.
He would have the privilege of being that bridge between heaven and earth. He would have the opportunity now to serve in the ministry.
We see in the New Testament when Jesus comes into the world, the Bible says He became our priest.
The man Christ Jesus was now the mediator between God and man, and it was prophesied that Jesus would be our priest according to the order of Melchizedek.
So it was that Jesus, at the age of 30, the same age that was required to enter into the priesthood, He goes down to a river where John is baptizing.
Jesus looks at John and says, “I need you to baptize me.”
We know the scripture in Matthew chapter 3, verse 16. It says, “And Jesus, when He was baptized, went up straightway out of the water, and lo, the heavens were opened unto Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting upon Him.”
And lo, a voice from heaven saying, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
So we see here what we saw in the Old Testament. We see Jesus as He steps in and becomes our priest.
We see that Jesus is baptized in water, symbolic of preparation for the priesthood.
We see the Spirit that descends upon Him like a dove; this was that type of anointing that comes upon Him.
Then there’s a voice from heaven that declares that He is the Son.
This was not a conversation between two people, but it was a declaration from on high.
It was a declaration from heaven. This was a declaration not for Jesus; this was a declaration for those that were around Him that would say, “This is my Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
From that moment on, at the age of 30, Jesus begins to preach repentance, and He begins to demonstrate the kingdom.
He begins to forgive the sinner; He begins to heal the sick. He begins to minister under power and anointing.
It’s because after He went through that process at the age of 30, He was washed, He was anointed, and there was a declaration that He is the Son.
From that point on, something happens in His ministry.
As we look at the Word of God, we see that God’s plan is that we be a kingdom of priests.
This was set since the beginning in the Old Testament. In the book of Exodus, chapter 19, verse 6, it says, “And ye shall be…” Now this is not the New Testament; this is the Old Testament.
“And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.”
These are the words which I shall speak unto the children of Israel.
He looks at them and says, “My plan from the beginning was that there be a kingdom of priests.”
The plan from the beginning was that it would not be one person that is used by God.
The plan from the beginning was not that it would be one person with access to the presence of God.
The plan from the beginning was not to have one person or one select group, but the plan of God from the beginning was to have a kingdom of priests that would step into the ministry.
God continues with His plan to restore the relationship that was lost when sin entered into the world.
But if we are called to be priests, if we are part of that kingdom of priests that God has called us to, then we also must go through a process.
If there was a process that they had to go through in the Old Testament, if there was a process that Jesus went through in the New Testament, then as New Testament believers who are now called by God, called out from darkness into His marvelous light, called to be part of that kingdom of priests, there is still a process that we must go through.
We’ve heard the call, but we have to decide to go through the process.
We see the same process; we see a process of purification, we see a process of anointing, we see a declaration that we are sons.
Even as the New Testament, as the Lord gives direction to the church, because now it is not just a select group of Levites.
Now it’s not just a select group who can connect with God.
Now it’s not just a select group of family that only they can enter into the presence of God, but God says, “Now I am calling everyone. I want you to be involved. I want everyone to be involved in this kingdom of priests.”
We see it again; we see the same process.
What we saw in the Old Testament, what we saw with the life of Jesus, we see again the exact same process in Acts chapter 2, verse 38.
The Bible says, “And Peter said to them, ‘Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.’”
For the promise is unto you and to your children and to all that are far off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
So now we see it’s not just for the select; it’s a priesthood of believers today.
Now you don’t have to be born in the right family to be used of God.
You don’t have to be born in the right situation to be used of God.
He says, “I will fill you with my Spirit. I will change you. I will use you.”
He is calling now for a priesthood of believers.
I understand we give honor to the man of God in our lives. I understand we give honor to our pastor, but God has called all of us to be ministers.
He has called each and every one of us to step into that priesthood of believers, and He says, “If you will go through the process, I will use you.”
It doesn’t matter your background; it doesn’t matter your past situations.
If you will go through the process, I’ll wash you, I’ll anoint you, I’ll declare you as my son.
One of the men who, after 19 years of pastoring in Barcelona, who now pastors our church there in Barcelona, Pastor Rafael, when he first came into our church, he had plans to kill his family and to kill himself.
He walked into our church; he had never been in any type of evangelical apostolic church, any type of church.
But he walked into our church, and the conviction of the Holy Ghost came upon him.
He came down to an altar; God forgave him of his sins. God washed him; he was baptized in the name of Jesus.
Now God is mightily using this man, this man who has only been in church for a few years.
But God has used him to lay hands on the sick, and they recover. God has used him to lay hands on people, and they received the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
He has miracle after miracle, a man who was not in any type of church background, who did not have any type of history with the things of God.
But God saw something in him and said, “I want to use you. I’m calling you out of darkness into my light.”
“I’ve messed up too much; I’ve done too much; I’ve been involved in too many things; I’ve been too deep in sin.”
But God says, “That’s okay. If you’re willing to go through the process, I’ll wash you. There’s a cleansing that will come. I’ll anoint you; there’s an anointing that will come to your life.
If you’re willing to go through the process, I will use you for my kingdom.”
One of the greatest soul winners in our church in Barcelona is a former madam.
She knows everybody in town; she knows the politicians; she knows the police chiefs.
Now she’s the greatest soul winner in our church there.
To look at her and look at her life, you would think, “My goodness, she’s been in church all her life.”
But it was not very long ago where she got the laws changed in our city to allow legal prostitution once again.
They were shutting things down, and she basically made a union with the prostitution rings in our city and changed the Barcelona law.
So everyone, from the mayor on down, knew who she was.
But when she came into the house of God, God said, “I’ve called you out of darkness into light.”
Now she’s one of the greatest soul winners in our church in Barcelona because she went through the process.
The Bible says in John chapter 1, verse 12, “Do you realize what happens when someone receives the baptism of the Holy Ghost?
It’s more than just a second blessing; it’s more than just speaking in other tongues.
But what happens when someone receives the Holy Ghost? It says, ‘But as many as received Him, to them gave He the power to become the sons of God.’”
When we receive the Holy Ghost, there’s a declaration from on high.
When you begin to speak in other tongues, it’s a supernatural sign that the Father says, “This is my son; this is my daughter. I’m calling them into the ministry. I’m calling them into this.”
So it’s more than just coming in and receiving the Holy Ghost for the first time and speaking in tongues just to speak in other tongues.
No, it’s something that happens; it’s part of that process.
We come in, we repent of our sins, we’re baptized in the name of Jesus, a type of washing.
When we open up our hearts to Him and His Spirit begins to fall down upon us, it is a declaration from heaven.
It’s God declaring, “This is my son; this is my daughter. I’m calling them out of darkness. I’m using them. I’m calling them to be a part of that royal priesthood.”
It’s something that’s happening all around the world every day.
On the day of Pentecost, 120 received the Holy Ghost, and then 3,000 received the Holy Ghost.
It’s something that I have been privileged to see around the world, people being called.
God is raising up an army, and He says, “I don’t care your background; I don’t care how much you messed up.
If you’ll go through the process, if you’ll let me wash you, if you’ll let me anoint you, I will declare with my Spirit that you’re now a son of God.”
When we receive the Holy Ghost, we’re now priests unto Him.
There’s an army rising up. The Bible says in Acts chapter 2, verse 1, “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.”
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.
We see through the baptism of the Holy Ghost, He restores what was lost with man’s first sin.
He declares, “This is my son; this is my daughter.” A relationship begins to be restored.
The Bible says in Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power after the Holy Ghost has come upon you.”
For what power? To make it to church on Sunday? If it wasn’t for the Holy Ghost, I wouldn’t have made it to church.
So ye shall receive power after the Holy Ghost has come upon you, and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and in Judea and in Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
He says, “I’m gonna fill you with power for a reason; there’s a purpose.
It’s more than just speaking in tongues; it’s an empowerment; it’s part of that process.”
The Bible says, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; you should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”
So if it was true in the Old Testament that the Old Testament priest had to go through the process, at the age of 30, he felt called.
He knew that he was called to enter into the ministry, but just because he felt that calling did not prepare him to enter into the ministry.
No, there was a process he had to go through. He was washed from head to toe.
Then there was anointing oil that flowed from the top of his head to his feet.
Then there was a declaration that went out to the people saying, “This is the new high priest.”
We see the same thing with Jesus. At the age of 30, He goes down to the water; He’s washed.
There’s an anointing that falls upon Him; there’s a declaration from on high that says, “This is my Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
From that moment on, He begins to minister under the power of the Holy Ghost.
So we see again in the book of Acts as the church is born, the same thing happens.
As Peter stands up, he says, “You’ve been called out of darkness.”
He said, “But what you’ve got to do first, you’ve got to repent. He said, ‘You’ve got to be washed; you’ve got to go through that process.’
He says, ‘There’s an anointing that’s gonna fall, and you’re gonna know that there’s something, there’s a declaration that’s gonna come from on high.
You’re gonna know that you’re a son of God because something is gonna be declared from heaven.
You’re gonna begin to speak in other tongues as the Spirit of God gives the utterance.”
Something so beautiful that God is doing around the world.
I see it on a weekly basis. I receive reports on almost a daily basis of people from all cultures and backgrounds, people that have never heard about this gospel.
But when they hear about the gospel, God begins to pour out His Spirit upon them because He’s raising up an army.
A lady in our church in Barcelona came in with a Muslim background, not knowing anything about this Jesus.
But when she heard the gospel, she said, “I feel there’s something there, and I want to experience this Jesus.”
She came around the altar; she lifted up her hands. God filled her with the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
I was in the country of Bangladesh just a couple of years ago, where the majority of them were Muslim and Buddhist.
But God, He’s calling everybody in these last days.
He said, “I don’t care what your background is; I don’t care what your past religion is.
If you’re Muslim, if you’re Buddhist, whatever, He says, ‘If you’re willing to go through the process, I will use you.
If you’re willing to submit yourself to the process, I’ll use you.’”
It was just a couple of years ago when I was in Bangladesh, the majority of them Muslim and Buddhist, as they lifted up their hands and began to repent of their sins.
As they lifted up their hands and began to worship God, God filled over 6,000 of them with the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues.
That was just the Father saying, “This is my son; this is my daughter.”
And whom I am well pleased.
Yeah, they may have been Muslim; they may have been Buddhist, but God says, “If you’ll go through the process, I will use you.
I’m calling people into my kingdom. I’m calling people into that royal priesthood.”
When it’s all to stand together, He’s calling you today.
You have been called out of darkness into this marvelous light, but you have to decide whether or not to answer the call.
He’s calling everybody. The reason we’re here is because we heard a voice; we’ve answered the call.
But the Lord says, “I want to use you. I want to use you in this last day hour before my second coming.
I want to use you, but I need you to go through the process.
If you’ll go through the process, we saw, “Pastor, I don’t really have it all together.”
Yeah, that’s okay. If you go through the process, that’s all I can use you.
“Well, I’ve messed up too many times.”
Well, that’s okay. If you go through the process, Jesus says, “I can use you.”
“You don’t know how much I’ve messed up; you don’t know how much I’ve done.”
It doesn’t matter. Jesus says, “If you go through the process, you’re gonna become part of that royal priesthood.”
If you’ll be willing to go through the process, that’s where it’s up to you and I.
Will we make the choice?
Okay, am I willing to go through that process?
That priest in the Old Testament, he had to make that choice.
Jesus made that choice; He goes down to the river; He says, “I need you to baptize me. I’ve got to go through that process.”
We, as well today, after hearing the call of God, we’ve got to make the choice if we’re willing to go through the process.
The call is for everybody, but not everyone’s here yet.
God is calling everyone; He’s calling every person in the midst of their sin, in the midst of their darkness.
He’s calling them out, saying, “If you’ll come out, I’ll use you.”
Because in this last day church, the royal priesthood, these people, God said, “It’s more than just one person standing behind the pulpit.
It’s a priesthood of believers.
It’s a priesthood of believers that are going into the community.
It’s a priesthood of believers that are going into the job.”
What would happen if we understood our role and how God wanted to use us?
When we went on our job and someone, they were sick in their body, and we said, “You know, because many times what do we do?
We say, ‘You know, why don’t you come to my church?’”
When the Bible says, “These signs shall follow them that believe.”
Are there any believers here?
These signs shall follow them that believe; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
If we really believed what the word of God said, we would say, “You know what? I’m part of that royal priesthood.
Could I pray for you right now?”
And God would do miracle after miracle to demonstrate His power and to demonstrate His love.
I’ve seen more miracles outside of the church building than I have seen in the church building through people that simply believe that God could use them outside.
We’ve got to change that mentality of, “They’ve got to come here for God to use us.”
Yes, we will pray for one another here this morning, this evening.
We’ll pray for one another here, but we’ve got to take this out and realize that God has called us to be part of that royal priesthood.
That we come together on Sundays for a time of training, for a time of impartation, but the purpose is to leave here as part of that royal priesthood to demonstrate the kingdom of God outside of these four walls.
But we have to decide, do I want to be a part of it?
Am I willing to go through the process?
Peter said, “If you repent, if you will take that wash and get baptized, he said, ‘God’s gonna fill you with His Spirit.’
There’s gonna be an empowerment that can come.”
So if you’re here this evening and you’ve never received the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, in a moment we’ll pray, and we’re gonna believe that the Holy Ghost will fall over you.
Because we believe that this experience is for everybody.
It doesn’t matter what your background is; it doesn’t matter where you come from.
We believe that God is calling everybody, that He wants to fill everyone with His Spirit.
Yeah, why? Because as we go out, we go out empowered under the power of His Spirit.
But we have to decide if we’re willing to go through the process.
If you’re here this evening and you’ve never received the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, but you would like to experience that, just lift your hand right where you’re at.
If you would like to experience that here tonight, just lift your hand.
Is there anyone here who has never received the Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues?
Now, if it’s been a while since you have been renewed in His Spirit and you need a renewing of His Spirit, lift your hand.
That’s probably all of us; we need to be renewed every day, every day.
So here in a moment, we’re gonna come around, and we’re gonna pray in just a moment, and we’re gonna pray for an outpouring of His Spirit, of boldness upon us, an anointing to fall upon us.
Because He’s called you; this is part of the process.
He’s called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
So if we could, if we could begin to come around the front.
This is coming on front; I’m gonna don’t pray just yet, but just begin to come around the front.
We’re gonna believe for an outpouring of the Holy Ghost.
We’re gonna submit ourselves to the process; it’s for everybody.
Turn to your neighbor and say, “It’s for you.”
Look at your neighbor and say, “It’s for me.”
It is to be seen, or they say, “It’s part of the pattern.”
We’re all in this process, and as after He fills us with the Holy Ghost, we have to continue in that process of Him leading us.
When God fills us with His Spirit, He empowers us.
That is not the end of the process; it’s now learning to be sons of God, to be led by His Spirit on a daily basis, where He is leading us and guiding us according to His Spirit.
There are many people that have experienced the baptism of the Holy Ghost but are not submitted to His Spirit.
And which you can receive; you don’t need to be used on the panel; it’s about being submitted.
Last week, but tonight we’re going to submit ourselves.
But it’s the time we’re going to open up our spirits to receive a renewing of His Spirit.
But what we’re gonna do first is we’re gonna start at the beginning of the process.
Vamos a hacer primero, vamos a comenzar el principio de este proceso.
We’re gonna start with repentance.
Vamos a comenzar con arrepentimiento.
It’s something that we need to do every day.
Es algo que necesitamos hacer cada día.
I can’t repent for you.
No puedo arrepentirme por ti.
It’s something that you have to do for yourself.
Es algo que tienes que hacer por ti mismo.
But I want to guide us before we continue here in a moment.
I’m gonna guide us in repentance.
Yo quiero que oramos en oración de arrepentimiento.
I want us to open up our hearts, and I want us to be sincere with the Lord.
Yo quiero que abramos nuestros corazones y ser sinceros con Dios.
I want us to pray a prayer of repentance.
Yo quiero que oramos en oración de arrepentimiento, preparando nuestros corazones para lo que Él tiene para nosotros.
If we could close our eyes and just begin to talk to the Lord.
Si podemos cerrar nuestros ojos y comenzar a hablar con el Señor.
Lord Jesus, I’ve done things I shouldn’t have done.
Lord, I’ve said things I shouldn’t have said.
Señor, he hecho cosas que no debo hacer.
He hecho cosas que no debería.
Lord, I ask that you would forgive me.
But I pray that you’d wash me, Lord.
Yo pido perdón de todos mis pecados.
Señor, yo pido, Señor, que me lavas.
Wash me, Lord.
Forgive me; cleanse me; wash me.
If there’s anything in my heart that’s not right, Lord, I pray that you cleanse me.
Lord, if there’s anything in my heart that’s not right, I pray for forgiveness of all my sins.
Señor, si hay algo en mi corazón que no está correcto, yo pido perdón de todos mis pecados.
Señor, yo quiero comenzar de nuevo.
Lord, I want to start over tonight.
Lord, I want to start over tonight.
Lord, I want to start over in this process.
Lord, I want you to wash me, to cleanse me.
That’s it; just for a moment, just be sincere with the Lord.
Eso es, por un momento, ser sincero con Dios.
Lord, forgive me; cleanse me; wash me.
Cleanse me, Jesus; wash me.
Lord, if there’s anything in me, Lord, wash me.
Lord, I purify me.
I want to prepare myself to be a part of that royal priesthood.
Lord, I pray, God, Lord, that you would wash us, cleanse us.
That’s it; just for a moment, let’s let the Holy Ghost cleanse us.
It’s something we need to do every day.
We need to repent every day; we need to let the Lord cleanse us every day.
Lord, wash me; purify me; cleanse me.
Thank you, Jesus; thank you, Jesus.
I’ll just begin to thank Him for just a moment.
Comienza a gracias a Dios por un momento.
Begin to thank Him for forgiving you.
Thank you, Lord, for forgiving me.
Thank you, Lord, for a new start.
Gracias, Señor, por perdonarme.
Gracias por un nuevo comienzo.
Lord, I thank you, Jesus, for forgiving me.
I thank you, Lord, for a new start tonight.
Lord, I thank you, Jesus.
That’s it; thank you, Jesus.
I thank you, Jesus.
I thank you, Jesus.
I thank you, Jesus.
Everyone say, “Thank you, Jesus.”
Now with a heart prepared, we’re gonna open our spirits to His Spirit.
Vamos a abrir nuestros espíritus a su espíritu.
It’s part of that process; it’s part of this process.
If you’re here and it’s been a long time since you’ve allowed the Holy Ghost to flow through you.
Si estás aquí y has pasado mucho tiempo desde has permitido el Espíritu Santo fluir a través de ti.
Just a moment, we’re gonna open up our hearts and allow His Spirit to flow through us.
Vamos a abrir nuestros corazones y permitir que su espíritu fluya a través de nosotros.
The Holy Ghost is not an emotional experience; the Holy Ghost is a spiritual experience.
El Espíritu Santo no es una experiencia emocional; es una experiencia espiritual.
Now the Lord can move throughout our emotions; that’s normal.
El Señor puede mover a través de nuestras emociones, pero eso es normal.
But that’s why someone can receive the Holy Ghost, and they’re very exuberant.
Alguien puede recibir el Espíritu Santo y estar ahí creando un caos, y otros pueden estar de pie y comenzar a hablar en otras lenguas, y parece muy silencioso.
Because it’s a spiritual experience; it’s the Father saying, “That’s my son; that’s my daughter.”
We have the power to be called sons of God.
So we’re gonna do four things here tonight as part of answering that call.
If you’re here tonight and you’ve never experienced the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues, you have felt the Spirit, but you’ve never experienced that flow through you.
As I said, you can sound up, but what He’s asked us to do is experience.
We’re gonna pray and ask that the Holy Ghost be poured out on every one of us here today.
Vamos a orar para que el Espíritu Santo sea derramado sobre cada uno de nosotros esta tarde.
So in just a moment, when we begin to pray, you may feel your tongue begin to tremble; that’s okay; let it go.
That’s everyone in the book of Acts; they spoke in tongues.
Es muy común, y así que vamos a permitir que su espíritu fluya a través de nosotros.
Because it’s an empowerment; it’s part of that process of being part of that royal priesthood.
Vamos a permitir que el Señor nos dé este poder; es parte de este proceso.
We’re gonna do four things.
Vamos a hacer cuatro cosas.
In one moment, we’re gonna lift up our hands.
En un momento, vamos a levantar nuestras manos.
Let’s practice that; everyone put your hands down.
Eso fue práctica, no más.
It’s a sign of surrender.
Es un señal de rendirnos.
The second thing we’re gonna do is we’re gonna close our eyes.
La segunda cosa que vamos a hacer es cerrar nuestros ojos.
Not because it’s a spiritual thing; it’s just so that we can focus on Jesus.
No porque es algo espiritual; es nada más para que podamos enfocarnos en el Señor.
The third thing we’re gonna do is we’re gonna lift up our heads.
La tercera cosa que vamos a hacer es levantar nuestro rostro a los cielos.
Because we come with expectancy to receive.
Porque venimos con expectativa para recibir.
No, we don’t come with our head down; we come with our heads up, ready to receive.
No venimos con nuestra cabeza ahí abajo, pero venimos con nuestra cabeza levantada, listos para recibir.
And the fourth thing we’re gonna do is we’re going to open up our mouth in worship.
La cuarta cosa que vamos a hacer es abrir nuestras bocas de alabanza.
The Bible says He inhabits the praises of His people.
La Biblia dice que Él habita las alabanzas de su pueblo.
So here in a moment, as we begin to worship, the Spirit of God is going to fall over every one of us.
We’re gonna allow Him to flow; we’re not going to resist Him.
Sometimes if we resist Him, sometimes we start feeling the resistance; it will almost cause us to want to fall out.
Don’t let something; sometimes people have been scared to receive the Spirit because they’re scared they’re gonna fall out.
Sometimes, not all the time, but sometimes it’s really a sign of resisting the flow of the Holy Ghost going through us.
So don’t be afraid to allow that flow to go through you; just allow that flow.
We’re not gonna resist; when we resist, that’s where we quench the Holy Ghost.
But we’re just gonna let it go; we’re gonna let that flow; that’s part of that process.
So I want us now to do those four things.
I want us to lift our hands toward heaven.
I want us to close our eyes so that we can focus on Jesus.
I want us to lift our heads; we’re gonna begin to open our mouth and worship.
Vamos a levantar nuestras manos, cerrar nuestros ojos, levantando nuestros rostros y abriendo nuestras bocas en la alabanza.
Lord, in the name of Jesus, Lord, I pray for everyone under the sound of my voice, Lord, for your Spirit to begin to flow through them.
Your Spirit, Lord, to begin to flow through them.
Lord, let the anointing of the Holy Ghost begin to flow.
That’s it; that’s it; begin to pray in the Holy Ghost.
Begin to pray in the Holy Ghost right now in the name of Jesus.
Receive you the power of the Spirit; receive you the power of the Holy Ghost.
Receive it; don’t let the Spirit stand; receive it.
Pulled out of the ocean in nombre de Jesucristo.
That’s it; as you begin to lift your voice, begin to let the Holy Ghost flow through you.
Oh, that’s the Holy Ghost; that’s the Father saying, “This is my son; this is my daughter.”
That’s it; that’s it; begin to let the Holy Ghost; He’s calling you; He’s calling you; He’s calling you; He’s calling.
That’s it; that’s it; that’s it; receive it in the name of Jesus.
Let the Holy Ghost flow; that’s it; that’s it; don’t try to stop it; that’s it; don’t try to stop it; let the Holy Ghost flow through you.
That’s it; that’s it; that’s the Holy Ghost drawing; that’s the Holy Ghost calling.
That’s it; yield yourself; yield your mind; yield your tongue; yield your heart.
That’s it; that’s it; because we have been called into this royal priesthood.
He has empowered us; He has anointed us.
The Bible says that these signs shall follow them that believe; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
We don’t have to wait until someone particular comes by, but the Bible says that these signs will follow the believers.
The believers; that’s you; that’s me; the believers; miracle signs and wonders.
That’s why He’s empowered you; that’s why He’s filled you with His Spirit, because He needs you to demonstrate His kingdom here.
Now you are that person that is touching heaven for people, just as the priest in the Old Testament was touching heaven for the needs that are here.
If you’re here tonight and you need a miracle in your body, you need a miracle of healing, I want you to lift your hand.
You need a miracle of healing in your body; those of you who need a miracle of healing, I want you to step forward.
If you need a miracle, just come stand here in front.
Need a miracle of healing; anybody else?
Now, one, two, three, four.
All right, do I have four believers here?
Okay, all right, so I need a couple; I think I need a believer to stand in front of this gentleman.
There’s a lady who would come and stand in front of this sister here.
Don’t pray yet; just stand in front.
Need another believer to stand in front of this gentleman here.
Need another lady to stand in front of our sister.
Now don’t pray for him; don’t pray for him now.
The Bible says these signs shall follow them that believe.
Now if you don’t know the person, go ahead and introduce yourself just in case she has a need.
Okay, you’re gonna stand in front of her.
Now that person who has a need, I want you to look at them and ask them, “What do you need from Jesus today?”
It’s okay to ask if the Lord hasn’t revealed what the need is, and go ahead and ask; that helps us to pray for specifically.
Now I would like some other believers; there are more believers than four here or five.
I’d like some of the other believers to come gather around these different ones.
Don’t pray for them just yet, but we’re gonna pray here in just a moment.
Now I want you to listen to me; those of you who are going to have a need, I want you to listen to me.
Just the same way when you came to God and God filled you with the Holy Ghost, do you remember what you were doing?
You were worshiping.
If you were begging God for the Holy Ghost, it didn’t happen until you began to worship.
Because worship is faith, and when you begin to worship, faith was in the atmosphere, and the Spirit came upon you.
It’s the same principle to receive a miracle in your body.
We begin to worship Him even before it happens.
So I would ask you, how will you worship when God heals you?
So hold on just a minute, because that’s how we’re going to worship in just a minute, because it’s by faith.
Because God operates by faith.
So here in just a moment, when we begin to pray, those of you who have a need in your body, you’re going to begin to thank Him.
Whatever it is, if it’s pain in your body, “Lord, I thank you for healing my body.”
If it’s something internal, “Lord, I thank you, Lord, for taking that.”
If it’s a disc out of place, “Lord, I thank you for putting that disc back in.”
But whatever the case may be, you’re going to begin to thank the Lord here in just a moment.
Now those of you who are part of this royal priesthood, this morning, tonight, this royal priesthood, you are now representatives of the Most High God.
You have authority; God has filled you with the Spirit.
You went through a process; He washed you; He filled you with His Spirit.
There was a proclamation from on high as you began to speak in other tongues.
He said, “That’s my son; that’s my daughter.”
So you are standing in authority, and the reason I asked for you to stand in front of them is because sometimes when we pray for one another—and this is not necessarily wrong, but it’s a different sort of position—sometimes if there’s a need for brother or sister, we’ll stand and we’ll kind of pray as a support.
But tonight what we’re doing, we’re standing in front because we’re taking a place of authority.
Because you, as a part of the royal priesthood, you’re going to take authority over the sickness and disease or the pain or whatever the case may be that they are facing.
So in a moment when you pray, now sometimes we’ve prayed like this; we’re like, “Lord, if it’s your will, touch my brother.
Lord, if it’s your will, touch my sister.”
We don’t find that; the only time that someone said, “If it be your will,” was someone talking to the Lord.
The Lord said, “I will be thou made whole.”
We don’t see that in the Bible.
What we do see is the apostles going in, and they speak to the sickness; they command the sickness to go; they command the pain to go.
You’re not commanding God to do something, but you are commanding the sickness to do something.
And God has given you authority over that.
So here in a moment when you begin to pray, you’re going to lay hands on them, and you’re going to speak to that sickness, that disease, that pain, whatever it is, and you’re going to say, “In the name of Jesus, I command you to be healed.
I command this sickness to leave the body.”
And you’re going to pray with authority because you understand you’re a part of the royal priesthood.
You’re a representative of the high priest; He’s the high priest, and we’re representatives of the priesthood.
Now what we’re doing here, this is just kind of a practice round, but this is even easier out on the street than on your job.
You can do it just as easy out on your job.
You don’t have to have the nice music playing behind you; it’ll work just as easy outside.
But we’re going to believe that God is going to use His people right now to see miracles.
If you’re in pain in your body, we’re going to believe it’s going to change right now.
If you need a miracle in your body, we’re going to believe that it’s going to happen right now.
It’s not about emotion; it’s about knowing what the word of God says.
The word of God says, “By His stripes, we’re healed.”
So if you want to know what the will of God is, go to the word of God.
The word of God says, “I’m the Lord that heals you.”
He says, “I forgive all your sins; I heal all your diseases.”
So if we want to know what the will of God is on this, we’re not going to pray, “Lord, if it’s your will, touch him.”
We’re going to say, “Lord, we know what your word says, and Lord, we claim the promises, and I loose healing in them.”
So if you need a miracle in your body, in the same way that we prayed to be renewed in the Spirit and to be filled in the Spirit, we’re going to do those same four things.
We’re going to lift our hands; we’re going to lift our heads; we’re going to close our eyes, and we’re going to begin to worship as if it’s already done.
So begin to worship as if it’s already done, and I want these part of the royal priesthood to begin to lay hands on them.
I want you to begin to command sickness and disease to go right now in the name of Jesus.
I take dominion and authority; I bind every sickness; I bind every disease; I loose miracles in the name of Jesus.
Be healed in Jesus’ name; in the name of Jesus, I loose miracles right now.
In the name of Jesus, be healed in Jesus’ name; be whole in Jesus’ name; pain go right now in the name of Jesus.
That’s it; that’s it; begin to thank Him.
That’s it; begin to worship Him.
In the name of Jesus, be whole.
In the name of Jesus, be free.
That’s it; be free.
Be healed in the name of Jesus.
Be free in the name of Jesus.
Be whole in the name of Jesus.
I loose miracles in Jesus’ name.
I loose healing in Jesus’ name.
Lord, we loose the people of God.
We loose this royal priesthood to begin to minister in authority, to begin to minister in power, to begin to minister under the option of the Holy Ghost in the name of Jesus.
Now let’s all clap our hands to Jesus.
Everybody together, let’s clap our hands to Jesus.
Now that we have prayed for the different needs, we take another step of faith.
Because if we’re going to pray for something, we have to have enough faith to try it out.
So if there’s a physical way to try it out, I want to encourage you to try it out right now.
Some things you may not be able to try out until you go to the doctor or you go home, but I have found that many times the miracle happens, not when we have initially prayed, but when we take that step of faith and we say, “Okay, Lord, we prayed about this; now let me move it and let me test it, let me see.”
Many times the miracle happens in that moment that we begin to put faith in action.
So I want to encourage you right now; if there’s a way to try it out, try it out right now and put your faith in action.
If God chooses to do a healing, that’s His business.
But I’m always looking for the miracle.
So go ahead and try it; go ahead and test it.
Now, if you can tell that the Lord has already begun to do it right now, lift your hand.
God has already begun to do it.
Is it 100% yet, or is it?
This is a good example for us.
So we’re going to pray one more time.
What do we do if someone doesn’t get the Holy Ghost the first time we pray for them?
Say, “Oh, it’s not the will of God for you.”
No, we say we’re going to pray again because we believe it’s the will of God for everyone to receive the Spirit.
And so in the same thing, when you pray for someone and the Lord begins to do the work, we believe that God will finish the work.
So don’t be afraid to pray a second time.
There was a man who was prayed for one time, and he said, “I see men as trees.”
Then there was a second touch; there was a second prayer.
So when you minister as a part of that royal priesthood, don’t be afraid to stop someone to have them tested and then to pray again.
One time I prayed for a lady in San Antonio.
I prayed for her; she was deaf in one of her ears.
I prayed the first time; it didn’t open.
I prayed the second time; it didn’t open.
I prayed the third time; she said, “I think I’m starting to hear a little something in the distance.”
So I knew; I was like, “Okay, we’re in the right direction now.”
So we’re going to pray a fourth time.
We prayed the fourth time, and God opened up that deaf ear.
So if it takes one time or four times, don’t worry about it; you’re just part of that priesthood.
That’s the bringing heaven to earth.
So we’re going to pray for our brother one more time.
We’re going to pray and believe that God’s going to do it.
He’s going to start what He finished.
So just stretch your hands towards him and just begin to thank the Lord for 100%.
Lord, thank you, Lord, for doing it.
Lord, we loose complete healing in the name of Jesus.
Lord, when you have started, you will finish.
Be done in the name of Jesus.
Be healed completely in the name of Jesus.
That’s it; let’s just thank the Lord.
Lord, I thank you; I thank you, Jesus; I thank you, Jesus.
Now the purpose of this, even here this evening, it’s not for our entertainment; it is to embolden us and to empower us to move outside of these four walls because we’re part of that royal priesthood.
So brother, when the Lord heals you of something, it gives you authority in that area.
So when you run across someone who is dealing with the same type of circumstance that the Lord has healed you of, you will immediately have great authority in that area.
So don’t be afraid to step out and say, “Hey, you know what? The Lord healed me of that.
Can I pray for you?”
And watch the miraculous happen.
Because when God heals us of something, we step into a new authority because we have a testimony to go back to; at least we’ve seen God do it for us.
And so He will allow a great authority to come upon us to begin to pray for other people in that same area.
So I want to encourage you; what God is doing here tonight is trying to propel us as a church, saying, “You’re a royal priesthood; you’re a peculiar people.
You’ve gone through this process, and now it’s time to be used mightily.”
Even Jesus, after that process, He goes into the wilderness, and He comes out empowered.
His ministry is what began; His ministry of miracles, His ministry of forgiveness, and that begins at that moment.
God has forgiven us; He has cleansed us; He has washed us.
Now we need to go forth in the power of the Spirit.
We don’t need to camp out where we come back to church every Sunday and we repent of the same thing that happened 10 years ago.
Because if we’re going back and we’re beginning and still repenting of the thing that happened 10 years ago, we have not quite accepted the forgiveness of God.
But when I can accept what He has done, when I can accept that He filled me with His Spirit for a purpose, then it causes me to step out of these four walls with a boldness and an authority that I did not even know I had.
The purpose is to reach the lost, and He will lead people to you, that you will open up your mouth, and God will fill your words.
It won’t be your words, but it will be the word of God, and it will be God’s words that will begin to flow through you.
You will begin to speak, and you’ll say, “Where did that wisdom come from?”
It didn’t come from you; it came from Him because He has empowered you; He has filled you; He has washed you; you’re part of that royal priesthood.
So we’re going to walk; we’ve gone through the process.
Now we do need to live a life of repentance, but we also need to accept what God has done for us and accept we went through the process.
If you’re here tonight and you’ve never been baptized in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins, I want to encourage you to go through the process, to be baptized in the name of Jesus.
We can’t stop halfway through the process, but after we go through that process, we’re a new creation; we’re a new creature.
We don’t have to repent of those same things from years ago.
If you’re still repenting for things from years ago, that’s the enemy; that’s shame; that’s not freedom in Jesus.
God will, He wants to deliver you and heal you of shame so that you can go forth in power; you can go forth in authority.
This is a powerful group of people here we have tonight.
If you could only see how powerful that you are, the enemy is trembling; the enemy is scared to death that we realize what we have been called to do and the power that is working within us.
But we’re going to pray one more time; we’re going to ask that this week the Lord would lead us to someone where we would be able to demonstrate the kingdom of God to them, whether it be praying for healing in their bodies, praying for deliverance in their minds.
But when that person talks to you, whether it be on the job, don’t think it’s an accident that they just happen to tell you about some of the situation.
It’s the door that God has given you; He’s opening the door, and you have to make the choice to say, “Okay, as a part of this royal priesthood, I’m going to step in.”
And I’m not saying, “Oh, you need to come and meet our pastor; he can pray for you.”
No, no, no; I’m part of that royal priesthood.
Could I pray for you right now?
You may have only been in church for six months, but you’ve gone through the process, and God has said, “I have filled you; I have washed you; I have empowered you; now you lay hands on them and watch God do a miracle.”
What could happen in this city if just two or three of us begin to walk in the authority and the power that God has for us?
We could turn Dallas upside down if just five of us begin to believe and understand who we really are.
Just five of us.
If we really understood who we really are, it would turn Dallas upside down.
We’re going to pray right now that the Lord would lead us, every one of you, that God would lead you this week to be able to minister to someone.
We’ve all been called to ministry; we’ve all been called to be part of this royal priesthood.
So I want us to lift up our hands, and we’re going to ask the Lord that He would divinely lead us in the path of people.
Lord Jesus, Lord, I ask you, Lord, that you would lead each and every one of us under the sound of my voice, that you would lead them this week, Lord, to be able to minister to someone, that they would have the opportunity to step into that role, Lord, of that royal priesthood that you have called us.
Lord, I pray in Jesus’ name, Lord, that you would have divine encounters, that divine encounters would happen.
Lord, that each of us, Lord, you would open up that door and you would show us, that you would put words in our mouth, that you would give us boldness that is beyond our own boldness.
Lord, let us walk in boldness; let us walk, Lord, in that anointing; let us step out in the name of Jesus.
Lord, I pray that this week, let it be done in the name of Jesus.
Lord, we’re going to be watching; we’re going to be looking.
We know in Jesus’ name that it’s going to happen.
I pray right now in the name of Jesus, let it be done.
Lord, I pray, Lord, that you would guide our footsteps, that you would guide our conversations.
Lord, that you would guide in the name of Jesus.
In the name of Jesus.
In the name of Jesus.
In the name of Jesus.
Now let’s clap our hands and thank Him.
Let’s clap our hands and thank Him.
Hallelujah, Jesus.
Let’s thank Him.
