Working Diligently for God's Glory and Purpose

by Naa Sydnia!!!
on Nov 05, 2023

Hi , your chatbot for this sermon is being created and we'll email you at when it's ready

Hi Community,

I'm sorry my voice was not recovered from the school year, so I'm going to do my best.

Okay, today I want to talk to you about God being on your side. You may be at work struggling to get through each day because you feel all alone and as if no one sees your work. Better yet, it could be even worse because, let's be honest, a lot of people are slackers, right?

But you feel this sense, this need to get your work done because you need to work as if you are working for the Lord, for His glory, to be that example in your workplace of how people should be. Amen.

So I want to encourage you that you are working on double strength, double strength, beloved, not just your strength but the Lord's strength. Amen. God has a plan for you. You are using your gifts to serve Him. Your work is not done in vain. Your gift is to encourage.

So after preschool every day, you encourage all the children and all the people who work. I want to leave you with some scriptures to encourage you. Amen.

Colossians 3:23-24 reads as follows:

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." Amen.

Second Thessalonians 3:10-12 reads:

"For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: 'If a man will not work, he shall not eat.' We hear that some among you are idle. They are not busy; they are busybodies. Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and earn the bread they eat."

Basically, my dad told me that if you don't work, you don't eat. One day I'm gonna get old, and I'm not gonna be here anymore to feed you, take care of you, but I would hope, he said, I would hope to God that you make your way out in the world before that time comes. Amen.

A lot of people need to get up and get to work. It's gonna become dire. You can't spend your life couch surfing.

Okay, if you're not working, if you're underachieving and you know you can do more, do more. It's wrong to do less. But if you are working as hard as you can, you are using your gifts for the Lord. Be encouraged and let it go. Amen.

Amen is always. God bless your kingdom work.
