#ScriptureOnSubmission
“the bible doesn't say that a woman is supposed to obey her husband. It says she's supposed to arrange herself under him. The bible says children ought to obey their their fathers or their parents. And in verse 22 of Colossians chapter three, the slaves and servants obey their masters. A wife is not your slave, she's not your servant, and she's not your child. And even though the traditional wedding vow says, will you obey him? That's not biblical. Because because obedience Children are told to obey their parents in all things.”

#DaughtersUnderGod
“That's God's daughter. And and guys, the woman you're married to is God's daughter. If she's supposed to be subject to me and she's not, she gonna have to answer to God, not me. Trust this, as a man, there's enough that God calls us to do in the word that we can spend the rest of our lives trying to get our assignment right. So he doesn't need a middle man to say, make sure she's under you or make sure she fall in line. God is talking to his daughters and he's saying, arrange yourself under me because it's the right watch this. It's the proper and fitting thing to do.”

#MarriageNeedsCare
“and people have plants in their house, you could just look at the plants and see how well they're taken care of. Whether the plant is vibrant and thriving or is brown and withering and dying. And if the plant could talk, the plant would say, pastor, I look like how they treat me. And you can fold your arms in here today and smack your lips and roll your eyes at me, but your marriage looks like how you treat it.”

#SpiritualAccountabilityMatters
“Let me say it to you single people especially. Because if you're married, you're married. you're single, you need to beware of people you're interested in who are watch this, who are not under any authority in their life. And I'm talking specifically about spiritual authority. If that person doesn't have a pastor or a minister or a deacon or a small group leader or some spiritual person in their life that can correct them, that can coach them, that can counsel them, and that they will listen to, they're a dangerous person to be in a relationship with.”

#NeverGiveUpLove
“``A love that says I'll never give up. A love that says for better or for worse, it means it. In sickness and in health. For richer or for poorer till I die kind of love. And I'm saying, there are a lot of people here who've been married a lot longer than my wife and I, but I guarantee you this, you cannot have an enduring love without having to endure a lot. Just because people stayed together don't mean they had an easier time than you. They just had a different love. And some of you need a love to just say, I'm here. I'm not going anywhere. I'm committed to this. I'm keeping my vow.”

#TrinityModelOfOrder
“It's actually if you want an example of it, it is what God does. You think about this. God actually demonstrates the Godhead. The father, the son, and the holy spirit are one. One God, three distinct persons. They are they are they are equally powerful, equally eternal, and equally divine. But two of them take on voluntary roles of submission. Two of them hupo tasso in the in the divine order, in the trinity. The son submits to the father and only does the father's will. The holy spirit only does what glorifies the son and all three of them are equal. Jesus is the son by title. God the father is the is the father by title. It's not like he he's Jesus' daddy or like he older than Jesus, they're the same age. They you know how old they are? Forever. They're eternal. That's their office. The holy spirit is no less divine than the father and the son. They all have different functions. The Father draws, the Son dies, the Holy Spirit indwells and he seals. And there is no chaos in their activity because they understand order and they know how to respect the authority of the one who's in charge.”

#LoveBeatsResentment
“your wives. There are only two directives in verse 19. There are amplifications of each one, but there are only two. Love your wife, don't be resentful towards them. Love your wife, don't be bitter. What it's teaching us is is that one will keep the other from happening. You wanna know how to not be bitter and resentful? Love her. Agape her. If you wanna stay out of Bitterville, stay in Loveville.”

#VoluntarySubmission
“It is something that you are told to choose to do. Not because you have less value than your husband, but because you understand order. And in order for there to be order and not confusion, somebody must take a voluntary role and voluntary position of submission. it's only God only says this to one group of people on the planet, a wife, not a girlfriend, not a life partner, not a child, and not a husband. He doesn't tell husbands, yeah, make sure you you ain't supposed to go home and say, you know you're supposed to hoop a tasso. Yeah. You you trying to go to that's not your job.”
