#MissionEverywhere
“``In our active discipleship, mission is not simply a trip, is it? It is a way of seeing the world, and today, we heard stories of serving in Alaska. Tomorrow, mission may found be found in your neighborhood, your workplace, your school, or your own family. So I invite you to reflect this week. Where is God inviting me to be a light? Who needs to experience Christ's love through me? Imagine if the mission field begins wherever we are, then let us go and love as Christ has loved us.”

#GoBeTheLight
“Beloved, you have heard stories of disciples who answered God's call. Now it is your turn. Go into the world, letting your light shine, loving as Christ has loved you and trusting that God is already preparing the people you will meet. The mission field is not far away. It begins wherever you are. Go forth as God's agents of justice, healing, and hope, and the beloved cherished children of God, shout Amen.”

#BlessedToServe
“Receive this blessing, my friend. Beloved, you have heard stories of disciples who answered God's call.

#CompassionInAction
“God of mission, thank you for young people willing to say yes to your invitation to serve. Thank you for every person who quietly shares your love, offers a helping hand, speaks a word of hope, or shines light into someone's darkness. Continue to guide the ministries of this congregation. Bless those who serve in our schools, in our shelters, food pantries, hospitals, neighborhoods, and throughout the world. Remind us that every act of compassion, every pursuit of justice, every gift of kindness becomes part of your mission of healing creation.”

#GraceChangesUs
“Imagine if we said yes to that grace. Imagine if we allowed God's love to move through our hands, our feet, our voices, and our lives. Today, our youth will share stories from their mission journey to Fairbanks, Alaska. Aren't you excited? They went to serve, but I suspect they discovered what so many disciples discover, that when we go expecting to change the world, God often changes us.”

#SayYesToGrace
“Last week, we imagined that God's grace is already at work in the world often before we recognize it. Today, we take the next step. Imagine if we said yes to that grace.
