The aurora borealis—shimmering greens and purples over Alaskan forests—mirrors how God’s grace illuminates hidden corners of our world. Just as the youth discovered purpose in Alaska’s vast wilderness, ordinary moments become sacred when we surrender to God’s brushstrokes. Light emerges not by our planning, but through willingness to stand awestruck in the presence of holy mystery. What if mission begins with noticing where God is already painting? [12:32]

“If you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.” (Isaiah 58:10, NIV)
