81s
“``Oftentimes, when we go through problems, persecution, whatever name we wanna put on it. Just let me put it this way. When things aren't going well, What do we automatically think? I must have done something wrong. I must not be living as I should. I must be guilty of something. This is surely my fault. Those kinds of thoughts go through our head. They do through mine anyway. But Paul says, wait a minute. Wait a minute. No. When you live like that, he says, these things automatically come. But they come because Satan is opposed to how we're living. And it's not that we did something wrong. It's more and more the chances are because we're doing things right, and everything else is falling apart. That's more likely what it is.”

“What in the world does that mean? Conduct yourselves worthy, conduct ourselves worthy of the gospel of Christ. He doesn't give us any clue. He doesn't go past that. And I kind of look at what Jesus says in Matthew. Jesus narrows it down and says, love the lord your god with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength and your neighbor as yourself. To me, that would qualify. Okay? That would cover the basis. That would say that I am conducting myself worthy of being called a Christian, worthy of representing the gospel of Christ, worthy of bringing glory to god if that is the testimony of how I lived.”

“But he says, there will be a boldness that comes upon us when we are living a life that is worthy of the gospel because we know no one can say anything against it. No one can come and say you are guilty of this, this, this, and this. Because we can always answer, no, I am not. Some of those things I've done in the past, but they've been cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ, and you can't say anything against me because of that. And I have given myself to living the life that God has called me to, and I am not gonna be denied. And here, let me tell you about the gospel. He says that's what will be a part of us when we are living that life that is consistent with the gospel of Jesus Christ. There will be a boldness.”
49s
“When that is our lifestyle, we will be in unity with one another and with the lord. It'll just be there. It'll be automatic. It'll be like the fruit of our lives. If we love Jesus Christ, love the lord with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and our neighbor as ourself, one of these things that you won't be able to get rid of is we'll be unified. I'm not saying we have perfect doctrine together, but I'm saying we are unified in our love for one another and in our pursuing of the gospel and our pursuing of the lord. We will be unified.”
