Sunday Morning Worship 6/29/2025 | Whole Life Worship: Time, Talent, & Treasure
Sermon Clips
How we spend our time is revealing, and it can be scary to look at. Because if I'm being honest, I don't want to look in the mirror. I don't want to face the reality of knowing that there are precious hours that God has given me that I have squandered away on things. But if I'm honest, that's the truth.

#TimeRevealsTruth
I actually think that the enemy of true worship is busyness and hurry. The enemy of true worship is busyness and hurry. We're so caught up in our lives, our schedules, and pumping as much as we can into the 16 waking hours that we have every day.

#HurryCrowdsOutGod
We live in a hurry, sick society. And it's killing our ability to worship with our time. To take these moments, to breathe deeply, and to be present with Jesus. We are hurry sick.

#SpiritualTimeCrisis
If we're not aware of the problem, we can't help fix it. If we're not aware that we have an issue, then we'll just keep living life like there is no problem. But I think there is. I think you felt it. I know I have. But naming the problem is half the battle.

#RedeemTimeForWorship
Let's not let distraction and hurry rob us from things that are better. Sitting with Jesus, having his love and grace wash over our souls, we need to redeem our time and offer it to God as worship.

#OrdinaryToSacred
A .W. Tozer said, the man who would truly know God must give him time. Really, that's what this comes down to. If you want to truly know God, you must give him time. Not what's left over, but prime time. Time that in your life is going to change who you are and transform you.

#BestTimeForGod
May you worship God with your time, not with your leftovers, but with your best, not with your first thoughts, your sacred pauses, and your quiet moments. Because the days are short and your life is a gift. It is a gift. So may your time declare that God is worth every second.
