#GodOnTheThrone
“``Many people say, god isn't even real. Based upon all the the tragedy, the sickness, and the death, and what they see in this life. It's bad. I'm not saying that doesn't exist. I'm just saying there's another reality that is even more real than this one, and that is the reality that God is on his throne, that he is holy and pure and he is not affected by sin, that his love has conquered every barrier, and that his son has made known to us the plan of salvation that purifies us from sin, that delivers us from the grip of hell, and places us in the reality of heaven even though we live on earth and that that reality can be ours and that we can live and speak and act and love and serve based upon that reality.”

#CrucifiedAndRisen
“Behold, the lion of the tribe of Judah. And John saw him. A lamb. Strange phrase here, folks. Standing as though he had been slain. Slain lambs don't stand. They lay dead, don't they? Slain things don't stand. Slain things are dead. Unless, of course, you're Jesus Christ and you can lay down your life and take it up again and he saw he saw Jesus, the lamb of god standing as though he had been slain and it says with seven horns and seven eyes, Jesus crucified and risen with all of the power. Those horns stand for power and authority and those eyes stand for seeing everything. There's Jesus, the crucified, and the risen one with all of the power and all of the fullness of the holy spirit. Jesus Christ resurrected, glorified, triumphant in heaven, able to reveal god's plan for the world.”

#SeeBeyondPain
“Now, when you look at things, it depends which perspective you look at them from. And I realized that it is extremely easy and I do the same thing. I'm not picking on you. I'm just as human as everybody else is. I realize that it is also possible and also probable for us to look at life, for us to decide our worship, for us to determine our gratitude, and our praise for things based on what we see here. My hope this morning is that I have shown you that there is more reality than just this reality. This is real, okay? It happens. I'm not saying your pain is minimized. Not saying your fear isn't there. I'm just saying it's not the ultimate. It's not what is going to last forever.”

#RainbowOfPromises
“We've only seen half of one but we're reminded every time we see one, later on today, you may look by, look for one because it may appear like god's gonna destroy the world by flood. I hear we're supposed to have some torrential rain but when we see that, when we hear that, we see that rainbow, I don't know about you but it always takes me back to the promise, right? The promise of god and here is this rainbow that encircles the throne like an emerald. It says, brilliant, glorious, shining in all of its wonder and what John sees when he steps through that door is not only a throne and a brilliant and a glorious god seated on that throne but a picture or a representation that every promise god has ever made is true.”
