41s
“``And these early disciples came into their synagogues and they said, no. It's not a time in the future. It has happened. It has happened now. No longer are we dependent on worshiping a god who resides in the temple. This god now through Jesus resides in our hearts and our minds, and he has given us tangible tangible items that talk about his body and his blood poured out and given for each of us. You see communion, the Eucharist became a central part of their worship because it showed them, it reminded them that Jesus was with them.”
58s
“It was a renewed call. Go and create opportunities for disciples to be made. Allow the power of the holy spirit work through you and through the church to create opportunities that others can come to know who Jesus is. Create opportunities so others can come to grow into that relationship with Jesus. Is this truly what Jesus was encouraging his disciples to do as a part of that great commission? Is this what we are attempting to do as the church? And if it is, big question, are we being effective through our ministry, through our ministry teams, through all that we do at this church, are we being effective as a church for creating opportunities where disciples can be made and sent?”
