#BeTheLightEverywhere
“it's hard, isn't it? It's because god is asking us to be that town on the hill at the restaurant, in the coffee shop, when we're out shopping. God says, we are the light of the world. When we're when we're in the factory or we're in a classroom or that we're in the office suite. God says, we have to be different on the golf course. When our families gather at a packers game, we are to be the light of the world.”

#VisibleFaith
“And because I came to this Earth and because I brought light to the earth, you, have the responsibility to bring that light to others, don't we? And so the first thing is that our light needs to be visible. You know, I think within the church, our light should be visible. How we interact with each other, how we support each other should be different than our neighborhoods. It should be different than the workplace that you support each other because our light is visible in the church. It's so visible.”

#BeALighthouse
“A lighthouse can't stop a ship from hitting the rocks. You can't stop others from making bad decisions, but you can, like, give them a warning. And that's why I think it's important to have small groups and bible studies, even coffee after church so you get to know each other. And you know the people who you interact with in your life, and that way you could be a guide to them and be a warning to them. You could say, you know what? I've been down that road. You know, I think that's a poor decision.”

#MicroloanSuccess
“Alex came to us and asked for a loan of $350. With that, he bought a motorcycle. He decided to use that to distribute bread to the small villages around the largest town. Then he comes back and he serves as a taxi because the roads are so bad, taxis or motorcycles are the taxis in in Laganov. And so he picks up kids or those that need to go out of their places. He paid us back $35 a month. In ten months, his loans paid back, and now he has a thriving business. And that's because of the micro loan program.”

#RespondOutward
“Christ says that we look inward, but we respond outward. So we have the responsibility to be a guide. The third thing is that our light can be a warning can be a warning. It's been several years ago now going now, but Craig and Barb and Sharon, my wife and I, went to Door County. And one of our goals for that weekend was to find all the lighthouses. Now I read online that there's 11 lighthouses, and we didn't come close to finding 11 lighthouses, but you're very familiar with them, aren't you? What do they do? They provide a warning.”

#FaithBeginnings
“Well, that would have story would have made a lot of sense to the people at that time, wouldn't it? It would have made a lot of sense to say, oh, we need to take the basket off. We need to put it on the stand. We need to be the light of the world. Well, we have a responsibility to be a guide because we have people in the church, and for sure outside the church, that are at the pencil sketch stage, aren't they? They're just beginning to understand what God is about.”

#JudgeLessLoveMore
“At the end of May, my wife and I went on a on a cruise, a short cruise in Nova Scotia. And it was a really fun cruise, and we're standing in a hallway one night. And Sharon was in a shop. I was watching these streams of people walk by. And all of sudden, Jesus tapped me on the shoulder and said, you know, Bruce, you're gonna be talking to these wonderful people in Wisconsin in a few weeks. Do you really think you should be judging all these people that are walking by you?”

#EveryoneIsLoved
“Well, I don't know about you. I don't know if you've been on a bus trip or you maybe you've been on a cruise or gathering. After a while, some of these kind of personalities, they kinda grind. I like some of these for me. Kinda grind on me a little bit. So I said to god, alright. You make a great point. I shouldn't be judging these people. I said, how about the people from New Jersey and the Yankees fans? Are they excluded? And god said, yes. They're my children. I said, okay. You win.”
