#ProvisionEvolves
“``And here's the challenge that we have when we see God provide in a certain way like he did in those days in the wilderness where provided manna day after day after day, we began to think and expect that's always how God is going to respond and provide for us. But God, as soon as they moved into the land, he provided for them differently. He provided by the crops that had been planted by the people that were there before them. And then the provision was gonna change even further as they were called to plant and provide for themselves and for their kids and their grandkids. You see, God's provision was gonna change after time. And again, sometimes we get stuck thinking God's provision is gonna look and feel a certain way all the time.”

#ProvisionBySeason
“And, you know, as I was reading this story and reflecting on it, I wondered why was there so much about what they were eating. But here's the thing that I think the writer wanted to capture is that God's provision looks different in every season. And here's the challenge that we have when we see God provide in a certain way like he did in those days in the wilderness where provided manna day after day after day, we began to think and expect that's always how God is going to respond and provide for us.”

#EyesOnJesus
“Now, all this is important, but like we said at that very first service, we need to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. He's our source, our guide. He is our true north. And if we do that, and if we continue to build the community and focus on building disciples, I believe that what happens here at Grace Fishers will begin to overflow into the communities around us, and we God will use us to make a big impact.”

#EbenezerRemembered
“You see, God wanted them to remember, and the way he was commanding them to remember was to go to that spot where the priests were standing in the middle of the river, and 12 men were to pick up a big stone, and they were gonna carry it to their camp and then set them up in a monument. And the word in Hebrew for this is Ebenezer. It's kind of an unusual word, but it's actually made of two words. The first word means stone, and the second part of the word means of help or of the helper. And you see, God wanted them to not forget that he had shown up and helped them in their moment of need, and ultimately, he was their helper.”
