"That when we offer our lives to God in service... It's an act of worship." [39:20]

"All these words show us that as we keep his commandments, as we obey his voice, as we walk in his ways, as we turn away from evil and serve him, they are acts of worship." [43:41]

"But it's their heart motivation to worship through song. They could have been singing any song—'Woe is me, we're in prison, we're going to die, life sucks'—but they chose to worship and go, 'Hey God, you're bigger than this.'" [44:46]

"Am I submitting my time, talents, and treasure to God? Hey God, what do you want me to do in this? What do you want me to do with my time? What do you want me to do with the skills, the abilities, the passions that you've given me? What do you want me to do with my finances, my resources?" [51:23]

"And am I using my time, talent, and treasure out of a sense of reverence to God? Again, am I doing things that God would want me to do? Am I spending my time how God wants me to spend my time? Am I using my talents how God would want me to spend my time? Am I using my resources in light of what God has done for me?" [53:04]

"So worship is not about singing. It's not just about giving. It's not about the stuff, the external; that's part of it. But it's about the heart." [54:34]

"The place is not going to matter. It's the how, it's the proscuneo, it's the submission. It's the heart behind the action. That's the importance here. Gestures such as bowing down are only motivated by a genuine desire and genuine respect." [36:58]

"So many times we talk about my life, things that I want to do. But this idea of proscuneo is like, 'Yeah, I've got my plans, God. But I know your plans are better than my plans. Your ways are higher than my ways. I'm going to bend down, I'm going to bend my will to your will.' So this is worship as submission to God. This is worship as service to God." [38:23]
