“The righteous shall live by their faith. The righteous shall live by their faith. By realizing that God's on our side, but his ways are higher than ours. So sometimes we don't understand them. God is on our side, but his justness is not conditional to our fairness. God is on our side, and he asked for a steadfast long obedience to walk with him. And God was on our side, so I will rejoice in my God, my savior.”

“Well, Habakkuk is almost accusatory to God here. He's saying, why do you idly sit by? That's pretty brazen to me. Why do you idly sit by? Now I wanna give you this. He had his own expectations of how God should run his people. Do you ever do that? Do you ever think that? Do you ever think if I were God, here's how I would do it? Can you be honest? But get this, God can handle your questions, even your accusatory ones, if you're willing to listen to his answers. We're not usually willing to listen to his answers.”

“We're not different because one day we decided to eat a salad and the next day we lose 30 pounds. We're different because daily we decided to change our diet. But you're different spiritually because daily you decided that I'm gonna take this amount of time and I'm gonna put God's word or I'm gonna put I'm gonna meditate on God's word and I'm gonna dig into it for twenty minutes at this period of time or I'm gonna let God speak to me or I'm gonna let this happen or whatever. What is it? I'm just asking you, not me.”
