“It also says, I believe. It doesn't say what I think. It doesn't say what I prefer. It doesn't say this is my opinion. I feel like I'm starting to tread into some deeper water. Church is not about opinion. Church is not about style. Church is not about how I want it to be. Christianity is not what I think it's supposed to be. It's about him. Amen? It's about god, the father almighty. It's all going back to him. It's all saying, if I believe this to be true, then I'm looking for him to be the one to be able to share with me what life is supposed to look like. And so it's saying that I believe this. It's personal. It means something to me. It means I believe this. It means I'm willing to believe this no matter what other people say about me and it is so deep and rooted in me that it is not what I prefer, what my opinion is, it's what I believe to be true.”

“This means it doesn't matter what your parents believe. It doesn't matter what the person next to you believes. It doesn't matter what your pastor believes. You are saying this and you're saying, this is what I believe. This is what I testify to. I'm not gonna be consumed with what everybody else believes. I believe it and in fact, in the original language that it's written in, the word believe is also really strong, and it means, like, I believe this fully. I believe this with all my heart. I believe this with all my life. I trust this so much that I'm gonna proclaim that this is what I believe no matter what it cost me.”
