#FaithIsAMarathon
“But now, as I read that, looked at it, I thought to myself, even if I wanted to do this, how would I accomplish it? And so I put down my pen, I looked out my window, and I felt the holy spirit saying to me, Bill Sims, to walk those 13,911 miles, you can do it one step at a time. You see, Christianity, it it's not a sprint, brother. It's a marathon. Your pilgrimage with Christ is not a sprint. It's a marathon.”

#GreaterIsHe
“It's a marathon. What did Paul say? I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course. Basically, I have walked my 13,911 steps. You say, pastor, that picture is impossible. It may be. It may be. Guess what? You may be thinking right now, pastor, what you're preaching, what I'm reading, it's impossible. May I say to you, it may be, but I'm telling you with this. Are you listening? Say amen. Greater is he that is in you than he is in the world.”

#FaithOverFeelings
“Listen, I wanna tell you friends, there will be a struggle when you get in that car. There's gonna be a struggle tomorrow morning. There's gonna be a struggle on Friday night. There's gonna be a struggle on Saturday night. Am I going to walk with Christ? Friend, make up your mind right now. I am being loyal to my father, not to my feelings. Can you say amen? Amen. Don't let your feelings dictate to you what you do for Jesus. If that were the case,”

#DisciplinedWalk
“Friends, the world notices your walk whether you realize it or not. Now, the word walk in the original language really does not mean like I'm I'm putting one foot in front of the other, even though that is good. The word walk here means that we are disciplined in some arena that draws us more passionately with the Lord Jesus Christ. So I'm asking you this morning, are you walking with Christ? Yes. We can say that. But do you have a lifestyle that is disciplined,”
