#JesusStronghold
“``Jesus is my stronghold. Devil, you don't get to take up residency in my mind any longer because my mind does not belong to you. You know, in the, the military world, both sides are actually vying to build one of those strongholds in the most strategic spot in the war. And in this case, what what Paul is saying is the strategic spot is your mind. And so what we're trying to do is tear down the enemy's stronghold, tear down the lies, and replace it with Jesus instead. So how do you do it? How do you demolish,”

#PhilippiansJoy
“And what's crazy is this this book we're gonna be studying, Paul wrote Philippians in a Roman jail cell. Paul wrote the happiest letter of the entire Bible in one of the darkest seasons of his entire life. And hear me, that is not a coincidence. That's the point. How do you have joy when your circumstances won't cooperate? The answer is you gotta win the war in your mind. So each week, we're gonna look at a different perspective change from Paul's letter. For example, one of them is this. He says, forgetting what's behind and reaching ahead to what's before. Does anybody here would anybody here like to forget some of the things that are behind them and reach instead into the future and what God has for you? Yeah. All of us. Right? He says we're trying to move from I don't have what it takes to I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. We'll talk about what that verse really means.”

#NameYourStronghold
“And he wants to control the narratives running in your mind. He wants to to write the story or the script that you live by. But you can pull the whole castle down if you can win the war in your mind. So, where is the stronghold in your life? I put in my notes. You cannot defeat what you cannot define. You cannot defeat what you cannot define. So you need to leave here today and name your stronghold. That's your homework. The the battle in your mind. What's it about? Where is the stronghold in your life? Or you could say, in your family.”

#GospelNotPositive
“Instead of positive thinking, it's truth of the gospel. We'll talk more about that next week. Instead of control, it's trust. Right? It's like, Jesus, take the wheel. Right? Anybody been there? Instead of suppression, it's confession. I love that. Man, maybe maybe I need to talk about what's going on more. Like, not not less. Maybe talking about it more would actually lead to more healing and freedom. Right? Instead of escape, the Christian way is endurance. Right? I'm not trying to avoid the pain. For the Christian would say the way out is through. Right? Romans, the suffering leads to perseverance. Perseverance leads to character. Character leads to hope. My best way is is to just try to endure. Right? Instead of performance, it's identity in Christ. It's it's remembering that my identity is received instead of achieved.”
