#CaveIsPreparation
“where character was formed in David, character that would make him king, that would sustain him for the position that God had for him. It's where David's men were developed to become his mighty men, where David was earning their respect so they would follow him into battle. See, the cave wasn't punishment, it was preparation. And some of us need to hear that today. Come on, some of us online, we need to hear that today. The cave is not punishment, it is preparation.”

#ChooseHonorNotHaste
“He chooses to honor his God. He chooses to say, I will not take matters into my own hands. I trust God to deal with this in his right timing. I choose to honor my God in his ways, not step into my ways. And here's the thing, just because there's an open door doesn't mean that God is opening it. Just because there is an open door, some of us need to hear that today, doesn't mean that God is opening it.”

#WildernessOfWaiting
“One thing is promised, and his reality is very different. And you think of David, that would have been a crazy season for him to be in. It would have been like, God, where are you? God, you've promised so much. What is going on? The crown is promised, but the cave is a position. See, he was in a wilderness of waiting, waiting for God to move, waiting for God to intervene. And I know that there are some of us here today, and if you're to be honest, you feel like you're in the same place. Waiting for God's intervention. Come on, one thing has been promised, but you feel like you're in the wilderness, that cave season of God. Where even are you?”
