“Because god measures the heart and the devotion of you who practices a religion. Jesus is not impressed with religious performance but surrender. I wanna say that again. Jesus is impressed not with religious performance but with surrender, and the reason for this is because in surrender, you do what he did on the way to cross. So I want you to ask yourself, if your life was before those scales, is it just that. Micah And six, it is one of our readings for the week. What is right? What does god love? Does he love all the rams, all the rivers of oil, all the sacrifice? No.”

“And as these people go forward and they put their money in the box, the gold offerings that are so loud. The public long winded prayers, they're empty. Flowing robes of fashion and titles and reputation and all the applause. It looks heavy right there in the temple, but right there before the throne, the scale does not move. And then the widow steps forward. She drops her 2 coins in, and not a sound is heard. No one notices. It's as if a fly were flying around, but in god's throne room, church, it's the sound of thunder.”
