#JesusCornerstone
“``The most important part of your testimony is Jesus. He is the cornerstone of our story. His sacrifice and resurrection is the only thing that makes forgiveness and salvation possible. It's the only thing that allowed his grace to flow freely into our lives. This truth and the promise of his return are the only source of our hope for all eternity and we must share this. But when we do, we have to share how these truths have changed us. That's what makes it real to that unbelieving world all around us. How he is at work right now in our lives. This is what makes faith in Jesus real to the people that we're trying to persuade. And yes, we are trying to persuade them. Paul perfectly states that second Corinthians five eleven. Since then we know what it is to fear the Lord. We try to persuade others. In essence, God can use your life transformation as a sign to draw people to believe. Your life in Christ is a sign. It is a demonstration of the power of our God.”

#ShareTheGoodNews
“How will they know if we don't tell them? They have not heard. How will they hear if we don't share the good news of Jesus with them? That's our job. This is our role. God's done his part. Jesus has done his part. The Holy Spirit is at work right now drawing people to Jesus. And you and I get to share the good news of him, who he is. You know why we gotta share who he is? Because they don't know. We gotta share what he did because they don't know. We gotta tell them what he will do because they don't know.”

#LiveWhatYouBelieve
“So what about us today? Why don't we get it? See we live in the light of the We live in the glory of the resurrected savior. But so many of us are still living our lives as if we are blind to the truth of Jesus. We choose to live our life as if his sacrifice doesn't really change anything. Now sure we say we believe but our lives really don't reflect that belief. We don't allow his spirit to truly change us. We don't trust his spirit to guide us. We continue to pursue our own paths rather than to follow his. Would Jesus be asking us, do you still not under stand?”

#ChooseToBeHealed
“But here's the thing, it's completely up to each one of us. Jesus asks us today just like he did one of my favorite miracles, the parable the the miracle of the paralyzed man in John five six. Before he heals the man he asks him, hey, okay. I can see your issue but do you to get well? He asks us the same thing today. Do you want to get well? For those of us who have seen the light, love that expression don't you? Are we living in it? Or have we just seen it? For those of us that are living in the light that's awesome. Why aren't we sharing it with those around us?”

#GodPreparesYou
“But also consider this reality. It's very possible that it might not have anything at all to do with you. So don't dismiss it because that's what we tend to do. God might instead be preparing you to help someone else. He may give you an understanding of his word that is just perfect to help someone else in their time of need. He may challenge you through his word to reach out to someone in a way you never would have ever would have crossed your mind before. Because here's the truth of God's word, it never returns void. Amen. It's just up to us to apply it.”

#PrepareYourHeart
“We're not called contrary to popular belief to just show up. That's not what God asks us to do. We are to prepare to encounter the living word of God. We must prepare our hearts and our minds to receive, to be open to whatever it is that God might choose to reveal to us. We are called to check our hearts before we enter into that reading or that study of God's word. Are we ready to receive the word of God? Have we prayed for God to reveal himself to us today?”

#ScriptureForTomorrow
“And so if you take in and you comprehend and you pour yourself into that word of God, you will be better prepared to handle whatever life might be coming your way. God knows what's coming. He knows what's ahead. So don't be surprised when that message you heard or that passage you read two or three weeks ago, a month ago, six months ago, all of a sudden becomes really relevant in this time, in this moment in your life. This passage, this miracle, this teaching might be the very thing you need to hear and understand to help you through something that lies ahead.”

#GodIsPreparingYou
“The important part is it's unfortunate but true that some people begin to view the word of God that way at times. Maybe a passage, a message that we hear. This doesn't apply to me. When will I ever need to know this truth? Or how is this relevant to my life? Please consider a couple things if you've ever thought about that as you read or heard the scriptures. Please consider this, the reality that God might be preparing you for something that's heading your way. He's trying to prepare your heart, mind, soul, and strength for what's coming and you don't know it.”
