#KnowWhyYouBelieve
“What I mean is that you and I have to do all that we can to know that we know that we know why we believe what we believe. You listen to me. You owe it to yourselves to do that. And god in can I remind say this to you? God invites you to do that. God wants you to do that. God encourages despite what some have said, god does not ask you to check your brains at the door and just believe whatever that incredibly handsome intelligent guy standing up there is telling you.”

#DontLeaveBeliefToChance
“Listen, ladies and gentlemen. What you believe about God is too important a subject to lead to chance or to feelings or to what someone else think, what someone else has told you. Amen. It just is. And and the reality is you you got too much riding on this one. You understand there's too much riding on this one. And you and I have been doing all we can to know that we know that we know what we believe and why we believe it.”

#JesusIncarnateTruth
“It was important to get this right. It's still important to get it right. And so John to great length to make it clear that it is essential that we believe that Jesus Christ was and is in the flesh. Not a god like the Muslim like the Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses believe. Not a great prophet like the Muslims believe, not just a man like the Jews or the atheist believe. No. He he is the God who came in the flesh.”

#NoIllusionsAboutGod
“They want you to believe what they're telling you or or what they're they're showing you, but but they don't want you to look too closely. They don't want you to investigate too deeply because they don't want you to figure out it's an illusion. They don't want you to figure out that it's a trick. They don't want you to discover the truth about it. When it comes to god, there's no illusion. There's no tricks. There's no secret that's being held held back. God is inviting us to explore the depth of who he is and what it is that he is offering to us.”

#MysteryOfTheTrinity
“Two thousand years removed from that moment. We still don't understand the mystery of the trinity. Nobody understands the mystery of the trinity no matter what they tell you. Scripture clearly teaches, reveals to us that God is his father, God is son, God is holy spirit, God is the godhead as he is sometimes referred, but nobody honestly fully comprehends and grasp and can understand and explain to you the mystery of the of the trinity. By the way, that's okay. It's okay to not understand everything about God. That's right. If I could, in my finite frozen pipe licking brain, understand everything about god, what would that say about the god that I'm believing in?”

#BeliefShapesMorality
“What you believe about God shapes your morality or it certainly should. What you think about your understanding of God will shape your approach to life. It will affect your your marriage and and other personal relationships that you have. What you understand god to be like will impact your your honesty. It will it will affect your integrity. It will affect your work ethic. It it affects how you view things in this world. Your understanding of God will impact your politics. It will affect the way you look at at subjects like abortion and euthanasia, homosexuality, and other things. What you think about God, your understanding of God shapes your very reality.”

#TheologyInfluencesEverything
“after reading first John five one through 12, I wanna give you this declarative statement today as we begin. Your theology shapes your reality. shapes your reality. In other words, your theology, your understanding of God shapes your reality. It shapes your approach to life. It shapes what you what you think about life, and it does so in ways that that many people do not even think about. And maybe you've never thought about this before. Maybe you've never thought about the fact that how does my belief in God, that shapes my life. It absolutely shapes your life.”

#ThreeWitnessesJesus
“So so John says, I got your three witnesses, Huckleberry. I got them right here. Here it is. He he he was divine in his baptism. He was divine in his crucifixion, and the holy spirit substantiates the fact that he was divine. In other words, throughout Jesus' life, his whole life, his whole ministry that was evidenced by the power of the holy spirit. His his healings, his miracles, his feeding of the 5,000, his teachings, all of it pointed to the power and the and the and the prominence of the holy spirit in Jesus' life.”
