54s
“You are important. But we individually are not the whole church, but together we are the church, the body of Jesus. We are the community of Christ's body who across generations continues to confess Jesus as Lord. We are each blessed with a variety of gifts. Did you listen to Romans? And you can read it again in Corinthians. And if we use those gifts given to us by the spirit, we will transform a broken world. That's our job description. That's our purpose in the Holy Spirit, to transform the world to the glory of God in the name of Jesus.”

“We can know a great deal about Jesus. We can study the scripture. We can learn theology. We can understand church history. We can memorize the creeds, and all those things matter. But eventually, Jesus asked each of us the same question he asked Peter. Who do you say that I am? Each of us are asked that question. And that question cannot be answered for us by someone else. It is personal. It is of the heart.”

“The love Jesus gives requires a village. Keter is important. You are important. But we individually are not the whole church, but together we are the church, the body of Jesus. We are the community of Christ's body who across generations continues to confess Jesus as Lord. We are each blessed with a variety of gifts. Did you listen to Romans? And you can read it again in Corinthians. And if we use those gifts given to us by the spirit, we will transform a broken world.”
