#NarrowGateTrust
“``The narrow gate represents total trust in Jesus rather than human accomplishments. In John ten nine, Jesus says, I am the gate, meaning the narrow path, requires a personal relationship with him and sacrificial god centered love. It is narrow and difficult be because it requires denying oneself, admitting spiritual poverty, and rejecting self righteousness. The easy wide road, it leads to destruction. In other words, separation from God. While the difficult narrow road leads to life, eternal life with God.”

#RepentAndFruit
“But folks, there is more to it than just saying a prayer and doing good things. You must repent of your sins. Do an about face. Walk away from sin and walk in obedience towards God. In obedience, obedience and believing are two different things. The evidence of this would be the production of the fruits of the spirit, the evidence of your obedience. They would be love, peace, and patience, kindness, and goodness, and faithfulness, gentleness, and self control.”

#JesusOnlyWay
“So there is no other path. Jesus is the only way. So offering believers both ultimate spiritual protection and the freedom to go in and go out and find pastor. Now this metaphorical use of the gate emphasizes a profound truth, and it is very similar to the idea of the narrow gate. Jesus is the only way into a relationship with God. He is the entry point to salvation rather than just one of many options. Jesus tells us he is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except through him. That's in John fourteen six.”

#NarrowRoadLeaveBaggage
“The narrow road is hard, difficult because it is tight. It's hard pressed. There's no room for all your luggage, all your baggage. It has to be left at the gate when you enter. It's so tight that there is no room to wander from left to right. So imagine that. You're in there. It's hard, but it's the only way. And you must enter alone, and there are few who are willing to take on that challenge. The wide road, that's easy. It's like a four lane highway. Cruising around. I can go over here. All my friends are there. I could bring all my stuff with me.”
