81s
“the goal is not to sin. The goal is to walk as he walked, to love as he loved. that is a goal. In reality, will sin. We do stumble, and Jesus Christ is our advocate. And the advocate, he doesn't just go to God and tell, oh, that sin wasn't too bad. God is holy, and he cannot have any sin, even the ones that aren't bad. Jesus Christ tells him, here I am. I am the righteous one. I was the sacrifice. And Hebrews nine says that he was the sacrifice forever, that no lamb, no bull, nothing can compare to Jesus Christ's blood. One one and done, that was Christ.”

“So God's holy righteousness, the settled opposition to sin and evil must be justly satisfied. So God does not simply wave a hand and ignore sin that would make him unrighteous. Instead, in an act of staggering love, so God himself brings Jesus Christ to absorb all the consequences. So that word doesn't just mean anointing sacrifice. It means that Jesus Christ was the one who absorbed all our sins, and he was the righteous one that was put in our place.”

“So if you so if you claim to be organically connected to the source of divine life, You yourself must match your claim. So the word here should, it carries a heavy moral obligation. It means we owe a debt. We owe the reality of the gospel to merely walk as Jesus walked. So if we say if we remain in him, our walk should be as he walked.”
