#PeaceInChrist
“``Paul says, I've stayed in the nicest of homes, and I've also had to stay in prisons. Paul says, I've I've enjoyed having people sit on the edge of their seat and listen to me while I while I spoke. And I've also had people throw stones at me and chase me out of town and beat me almost to death as I shared the gospel. Paul says, I've had huge success in my life, and at times, I've also felt like I failed. And Paul tells this church, whatever situation, whatever circumstance, whatever's going on in my life, I have found a way to be okay with it, to be good with it. I found a way to be at peace with whatever's going on in my life, and it's in Jesus Christ. Jesus is the way that I can be at peace in my life right now sitting in a Roman prison.”

“And Paul tells this church, whatever situation, whatever circumstance, whatever's going on in my life, I have found a way to be okay with it, to be good with it. I found a way to be at peace with whatever's going on in my life, and it's in Jesus Christ. Jesus is the way that I can be at peace in my life right now sitting in a Roman prison. Paul says, do do you not remember at the beginning of this book when I told you whether I live or whether I die? all for Christ. That's the secret of Paul's life. That's the secret of Paul being content. That's the secret of Paul being at peace is true contentment is found in Jesus Christ alone.”

#JesusIsEnough
“The reason that Paul says that, I believe it goes back to being content in Christ. Jesus, you're enough. Jesus, you're all that I have. Jesus, you are everything to me. Everything else in this world can burn away. Everything else in this world means nothing to me. The the things that I'm trying to fill my life up with to make me feel happy, com complete, at peace, they're meaningless. The only thing that's gonna bring true contentment to my heart is Jesus Christ. That means we are gonna have to sacrifice some things. That means we are gonna have to let some things go. It means we are gonna have to concern ourself Jesus Christ and the gospel more than the things of this world.”

#GenerosityForGospel
“When God lays an opportunity at your feet to be generous, there's a reason. And it's an opportunity for you to further the gospel. It's an opportunity for you to bring honor and glory to his name, and we ought to have the kind of attitude that says, I am content in Christ, and so therefore, everything that I have is his. And because I'm content in him, that will lead me to be generous and find opportunities to be his true hands and feet here on this earth. George Mueller practiced that, and it is a it is an example for us to follow in trusting God praying for the needs that we have in our lives. But it's also an example for us to move and to act when God prompts us for specific reason.”
