#GodIsMyShepherd
“``I don't know which one of those three things you most need from the Lord this morning, but I do know this. I do know this. God has promised, promised that he is your shepherd. And so therefore, you will never lack for what you need. And I know it may not feel like it. It may be hard to overcome some of the emotional hurdles or the mental challenges, but the promise is there. It's on offer to you today. The Lord is your shepherd. He wants to be that shepherd. And whether that's physical provision, whether that's emotional provision, whether that's spiritual, whatever it is, God is saying, come to me, and I will give you what you need.”

#ThereforeIShallNotWant
“Because it it says the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want there's there's a there's there's a subtlety that's missing in our English translations. It it in Hebrew, it's better rendered, the Lord is my shepherd, therefore I shall not want. So I want you to put that little caret in there and write the word therefore above it. The Lord is my shepherd, therefore, Because God is my shepherd, because he's my provider, because he's my physician, because he's my healer, he's my protector, all the things we talked about last week. Because the Lord is my shepherd, the Lord is my shepherd, therefore I shall not want.”

#RestoreMySoul
“He doesn't say, okay. If God's your shepherd, then your prayers are gonna be spectacular. He doesn't say if God is your shepherd, then you're gonna understand the Bible so well. He doesn't say if God is your shepherd, then you're never gonna have doubt. He doesn't say, okay, if God is your shepherd, then, you know, church is always gonna be amazing and no one's ever gonna talk bad about you behind your back and you're gonna find all your friends and the music you're even gonna like that too. Like it it doesn't say any of that. Right? He says, if I'm your shepherd, I will restore your soul. I will give rest to your soul. I will give peace and comfort to your soul.”

#RestoreTheFire
“And I think even for Christians, maybe some of us, especially some of us who've been followers of Jesus for a really long time, and we find ourself in that place where we're like, I've been doing this my whole life, and I I don't know. I just don't feel the way I used to feel. I don't feel that fire. I remember being when I first became a Christian, man, I was on fire, and I was talking to people, I was praying. And now sometimes I just feel like I'm going through the motions. I wonder, is God really there? Maybe some of you know what that feels like too. I've been there. And I had those conversations with people. David says, listen. If God's your if you let God if you allow him to do it, and you allow him to be that shepherd, Even for those of you who maybe the the fires have gone a little cold, he can restore that soul too.”
