#WhoIsJesusToYou
“``The greatest question of this parable is not what what are you gonna just do with what God has given you. The greatest question is, who do you believe God is? Because what you what you believe about God will affect what you do with what he's given you. Yeah. That's good. And that affects your whole eternity. Your view of of who is Jesus to you? Men, that's the greatest question that you could ever answer.”

#StewardshipRevealsHeart
“``It was not he was not wicked because he didn't do anything with what God has given him. It was that he didn't do anything with what God has given him because he was wicked. Like, it was because his heart wasn't right in the first place. It actually revealed what was truly in his heart. And it goes to show how you steward your life is actually a representation of who you actually think and view God is. So at the end of your life, when you think of your time, when you think of your your schedule and your resources, your relationships, we can look at that and say, did you really have a heart that was fully surrendered to God or not? Did did you did you really have a a heart that trusted him as good and really knew him? Because what this is actually revealing, it says, what is actually in your hand actually shows us what's in your heart. Yeah. So it wasn't God was like, you weren't productive. I don't like you. You can't spend eternity with me. It was you you never you you never knew me. You didn't trust me. And out of that lie, you decided to hide. And it actually showed his heart wasn't right with what he did, what was in his hand.”

#ConfidenceInTheGiver
“``if God has placed it in your hands, what more confirmation do you need? Yes. If this is not your identity, then it is it can become easy when someone wants to correct you because when they correct you, it doesn't just go straight to your heart. Because they're not saying evaluating Right? So what we're doing is we're trying to get better as being stewards of what God has given us. It allows us to to use what God has given us with great confidence because my confidence is not in the gift, but it's in the giver. So so then I can do what God has called me to do and then release what he's called me to release, and then it doesn't have to have a weight on who I am because I realize what I do is not who I am.”

#TrustGodsTiming
“``Maybe it's God's timing can't be trusted. I just you know what? I'm gonna have to force this relationship relationship. Or We're I'm gonna I'm rushing into this decision, or I I need a compromise to get ahead. Because, you know, the results are just taking too long. Like, this waiting feels like God has forgotten about me, actually. If you're bold enough, would you just open your heart and allow the Holy Spirit just to confidently but tenderly remind you the truth of really of who he truly is. Man, his plan is good. Not just good, but it is best.”

#ObedienceOverCost
“``Maybe it's God can't be trusted if I obeyed him. I know this relationship is unhealthy. I I know this business practice is dishonest, and I I know some of these decisions that I'm making in my life, man, they're compromising my convictions, but man, obedience just feels too costly. Is is his way really best? I just feel like if I do what he's asking me to do his way, man, it's gonna cost me the relationship. It's gonna it's gonna cost me my pleasure. It's gonna it's gonna cost me too much. It's gonna cost me too much money. It might cost me too much opportunity. Is that is that what's grasping your heart?”

#GraceOverFailure
“``Maybe it's if I fail, man, God's finished with me. You know what? I'm just gonna avoid leading. I'm just gonna avoid serving. I'm gonna avoid applying what he's giving me. I'm I'm gonna avoid having a difficult conversation. I I just because what if I get it wrong? What what if I'm not enough? I'm just gonna bury what God has given me because what if he runs out of grace for my imperfections? Is that a lie that grasps your heart?”

#IdentityInChrist
“``You you weren't created in good works. You were created in Christ. Like, first and foremost, your identity is in Christ, but you were created for good works. So there is a work to do, but ultimately, what flows first is your identity in Christ, then comes out good works. It is not good works and then created in Christ. So what we have in our hands doesn't become who we are. And that could be hard in a world, especially in our country where you are only worth what you got. Your title says who you are. Your bank account, your influence says who you are. All these things that are to be stewarded, the world has caused it to be identity.”

#RelationalReward
“``But notice that the reward of faithfulness is not just more stuff. He he says to them, enter into the joy of your master. That's relational. That's fellowship. That goes beyond just master and servant language. This is now like, what kind of master would allow servants to experience the wealth of inheritance. Like, that's language of father and child now. Like like, a harsh master wouldn't do that.”
