Church feels like family when it gets treated like family. A house can be full of walls and furniture without becoming a home, because home is about belonging, life, and people who know they belong there. God calls those who follow Jesus out of being strangers and into His household, not merely into a weekly event or a place visited once in a while.

A loose connection carries no power. A motorcycle with all its strength could not run because one battery cable was loose, and a disconnected Christian cannot draw on the gifts, encouragement, care, and capacity of God’s family.
