I'm rocking it like a necklace. I got it on my hands. I'm wearing it like shoes on my feet. I'm I'm writing it on the tablet of my heart so that when I am navigating the ins and outs of this world, I do so rooted and grounded in wisdom, rooted and grounded in the word of God, that the word of God ought to be your reference point to how you make decisions, to how you live your life, to how you discern who is for you, who is against you, who who is your friend, and who is your spouse. You ought to you ought to be connected and covered with the word of God.”

“And the reason why Solomon says that this young man ain't got no sense, he's not speaking of his intellect. He's not speaking of his resume. He's not speaking of his GPA. He's not speaking of his transcript. He's not speaking of the skills that he's developed. Solomon is looking at this young man who is uncovered and disconnected from wisdom, and he can tell that he ain't got no sense because of the direction that he's going. Solomon says that when you and I are uncovered, we leave ourselves vulnerable to what is forbidden.”

Because some of us, we come to church and we wear the right clothes and we say amen and we sit in the right spot. We know the protocol of when to stand up, when to sit down, and we can sing along with the choir. But the question isn't whether you came to church today. The question is what you got planned when church is over. Which is why Solomon says, you need to download the word on the tablet of your heart so that not only are you in church, but the church is in you.”

It always gives you a calendar invite for the right now. But what is forbidden never tells you about the hangover you're gonna feel. You may not have a weakness for forbidden women. You the corner may not be this woman for you. Your corner may be money. Your your corner may be greed. Your your your your corner may be revenge. Your corner may be attention. But whatever your corner is, Solomon says, you need the word to prevent what the devil is trying to destroy.”

You're gonna need that word when you're trying to manage money and manage stress and deal with grief and depression. Solomon says, don't forget the word,”
