Day 1: The Church is the People, Not the Building

The essence of the church lies in its people, not in its physical structure. The Holy Spirit dwells within believers, making them the true temple of God. This shift from a physical temple to a spiritual one signifies the new covenant where God resides in us, not in a building. The early church, as described in the Book of Acts, was a community of believers who were empowered by the Holy Spirit to carry out the mission of Jesus Christ.
