#JourneyNotJustDestination
“Those are pretty weighty words. We focus a lot on the I am the way, the truth, and life, and rightfully so. But I think we need to be challenged by these other words here. And I think we need to be challenged that Jesus was concerned with the journey, not just the destination. If we're worried about just the destination, then we forget there's a whole lot more to following Jesus than just getting to heaven someday. That's a glorious thing. We've sung about it. We get a picture of it. But Jesus wasn't just letting you punch your card and saying, that's it. He's saying, you wanna know what life is right now, then you and I have to be one as the father and I are one. It's about now in the thick and thin. It's about believing in him now and not just worshiping him someday. The destination matters, but so does the journey. Life with Jesus doesn't just start someday when he calls us home, it starts today.”

#AtHomeInJesus
“Are you home in Jesus? And I'm, yes, I'm talking salvation. Maybe you don't know that Jesus is Lord. You can't those words. Today is the day of salvation. But you know what? For some of us, it is not just those who need to hear it the first time. It's some of us that need to be reminded. We have gone off the path, and we are no longer on the path to be let home. And it's not a salvation issue, it's an obedience issue. And Jesus says, let me lead you home. And when you do that, whatever you ask in my name will be done because we will be unified with him.”

#UnityInPrayer
“Many of times we take this to say, as long as I just say, in Jesus' name, it'll be done. And there's a whole lot more there. It's about being completely unified. And because of the unity of Christ and of God the Father, we get hope. Do you need a hope in the midst of the storm that you're in? Fix your heart on Jesus. It doesn't mean the storm automatically blows away, but you will have a unity and purpose where you will have a peace that, as Paul would say in the book to Philippians, that surpasses all understanding. That will guard your heart and your mind.”

#PresenceIsHomeNow
“No. If we remember that, when you're going through hard times and you're waiting for that doctor appointment to finally schedule something, guess what? Jesus is Lord still. And if we will let him lead us home, home is not just someday, home is a state of being and the realizing of the presence of Jesus right here, right now. And the way of Jesus will always lead to life, will always lead the truth, and will always lead you to share that with somebody else. Because we're telling everybody else, hey, here's the way home.”
