39s
“And there's someone that you know that needs to hear you tell them about Jesus. And you have better access to them than I do or anybody else in this room does. And they're waiting on you. The opportunities that God gives you with them and with the people around you are not gonna last for forever. Just not. It's just the reality of the thing. So, you live wisely enough and you pray for the wisdom so you recognize the opportunities in front of you. And you pray for boldness and for clarity like Paul did. So, when that opportunity comes and you see it, you walk through it.”
49s
“Because the gospel requires words. Now, your your life may give you the opportunity. It it may give you the it may give you the backing or the or the platform to speak those words, but your lives can't explain the gospel. Your good life, your moral living, your good choices, your honesty and your integrity is not gonna explain to someone God is a creator and judge of the universe. the condition of sin, and the implications of sin on every single person who's ever lived. Jesus, God's offer of goodness and grace and mercy, sacrifice, resurrection, eternal life, all those things require words and we have to speak those things. Somebody's got to say it.”
38s
“You know, maybe it's not a coworker leaving, maybe it's something different, maybe your neighbor moves, maybe your child changes schools, or you change jobs, or somebody gets sick, or somebody dies. And all of a sudden, you realize relationships have seasons, opportunities have windows. And Paul says, buy them up. Make use of them while they're still there. If you and I are gonna do that, then that requires intentionality in both how you live and how you speak.”
