But peace isn’t found in pretending the fight doesn’t exist—it’s clinging to the Commander who already crushed death. [50:56]

God cannot lie, and God would never send His Son to fail. If Jesus had failed, that would leave a huge unpaid debt, and God’s people would be lost eternally. But Christ is risen, just as He said.

Matthew 28 shows the empty tomb, the angel, the women running with fear and great joy, and Jesus meeting them on the way. The same passage also shows a lie being cooked up right away. The guards are paid to say the disciples stole the body. Satan does not stop just because he is defeated. His fate is sealed, but he still wants God’s children to join him in rebellion, so he throws out lies, fear, confusion, discord, and distrust.

Christ overcame the world, and His people are called to overcome and walk away from the sinful nature that got humanity into this mess.
