#SeekPeaceFirst
“Seek peace first. The principle encourages us to seek peaceful resolutions in our conflicts. Peaceful resolutions in our conflicts. By prioritizing peace, we reflect God's love and God's grace fostering harmony in our relationships and in our communities. Here in Deuteronomy twenty twelve to 14, if it does not make peace with you but makes war against you then you shall besiege it. That was the instruction when they came up against the city. It's a fortified city. You can't just get in so you knock on the door”

#GodFollowsThrough
“Moses appeals to the fact that God had delivered the Israelites from Egyptian bondage and that same God remains with them in their current process of regaining their homeland. God is not just a once and done God. God follows through. I think that's important for us to remember. Just because you've come to a point of faith and and repented of sin, been baptized for remission of sins, you're not done. God's just started with you. You've committed your life to live for God from this day forward and God will bless you in living that life and giving you strength and comfort and encouragement as we lean on him.”
