Jesus watched as crowds followed Him, trusting His Father to meet their needs. He taught them to seek God’s kingdom first, not worrying about food or clothes. The disciples saw baskets leftover after thousands ate—proof that God multiplies what we surrender. [36:06]
Jehovah Jireh means “The Lord Will Provide.” He doesn’t just rescue us in crises—He sustains us daily. Every breath, skill, and opportunity comes from His hand. When we tithe, we declare His ownership over all we have, opening doors for His blessing.
Many of us stress over bills or shortages. But God calls us to test Him in giving. What if you thanked Him for three provisions today—even small ones? Where is fear choking your trust in His daily care?
“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
(Philippians 4:19, ESV)
Prayer: Thank God for one specific provision this week. Ask Him to deepen your trust in His daily care.
Challenge: Write down three needs. Beside each, write “Jehovah Jireh” and pray over them daily.
Young Jesus sat among teachers, asking questions that amazed them. Luke says He “increased in wisdom and stature”—learning, obeying, and maturing. His growth wasn’t automatic; He chose to study Scripture and honor His earthly parents. [58:14]
Wisdom isn’t just knowing facts—it’s applying truth. Like Jesus, we must actively seek understanding through God’s Word and godly counsel. Without wisdom, we repeat mistakes and miss God’s best.
What area of your life feels stuck? Finances? Relationships? Open Proverbs today. Find one verse to apply this week. What step will you take to grow wiser instead of repeating old patterns?
“And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.”
(Luke 2:52, ESV)
Prayer: Ask God to highlight one area where you need wisdom. Confess any resistance to His guidance.
Challenge: Read Proverbs 2:1-5 aloud. Underline one instruction to obey today.
A husband and wife argued for years until they chose kindness. They stopped criticizing and started speaking life. Like Ephesians 4:32 says, they forgave as God forgave them—not because feelings changed, but because obedience precedes healing. [01:11:54]
Kindness disrupts cycles of hurt. It’s not weakness—it’s wisdom in action. Jesus showed kindness even to those who betrayed Him, modeling how love covers faults.
Is there a relationship where harsh words dominate? Try replacing one critical thought today with a prayer for that person. What would change if you led with kindness first?
“Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”
(Ephesians 4:32, ESV)
Prayer: Confess a recent harsh word or thought. Ask God to help you speak life today.
Challenge: Text or tell one person, “I appreciate you because…” before sunset.
A man bought a flashy car, ignoring his budget. Months later, he struggled under payments. Proverbs warns: “The wise store up choice food, but fools gulp theirs down.” Wisdom pauses to count costs and seek counsel. [01:28:31]
Every choice plants a harvest. Rash decisions—in finances, words, or commitments—often bring thorns. But God’s wisdom protects us from unnecessary pain.
What decision are you facing? Write the pros and cons. Ask: “Will this honor God or feed my pride?” What’s one way to pause before deciding today?
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.”
(Proverbs 3:5, ESV)
Prayer: Ask God for clarity in a current decision. Repent of any hurry to act without Him.
Challenge: Post Proverbs 3:5-6 on your mirror. Read it aloud before making any purchase today.
The early church shared everything—homes, meals, resources. Their generosity drew others to Christ. When we tithe and serve, we join God’s work like the boy who gave his loaves. What seems small becomes abundant in His hands. [49:23]
Giving isn’t about budgets—it’s worship. It breaks greed’s grip and fuels God’s kingdom. Every dollar given, hour served, or kindness shown plants eternal seeds.
What’s one thing you’ve withheld—time, talent, or treasure? How could releasing it bless others? What’s stopping you from trusting God with it today?
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.”
(Hebrews 10:24, ESV)
Prayer: Thank God for a recent blessing from someone’s generosity. Ask Him to stretch your giving.
Challenge: Sign up for one serving team or give an extra $5 in today’s offering.
A warm welcome opens the gathering with gratitude for regular attendees and recognition of volunteer service that sustains the church’s ministries. Names of God — especially Jehovah Jireh as provider and Jehovah Nissi as victory — anchor the theology of daily dependence on God rather than only in crisis. Giving and tithing receive practical and theological attention: giving functions as acknowledgment that every good gift comes from God, and faithful generosity releases kingdom blessing that multiplies what is surrendered. Recent ministry fruit is celebrated through attendance and baptism statistics, highlighting a notable influx of young adults and renewed spiritual hunger across campuses.
Announcements point to upcoming worship nights, community events, growth-track orientation, and family-focused celebrations like Mother’s Day and baby dedications. The series theme “Love and Go” frames spiritual formation, and the sermon pivots to the central topic: the indispensable role of God’s wisdom. Scripture from Proverbs and Paul is used to show that wisdom empowers flourishing — longer life, honor, pleasant ways, and peace — and that knowledge without application leaves believers vulnerable. The distinction between knowing truth and living it receives emphasis: wisdom means doing what God’s word instructs, not merely accumulating facts.
Jesus’ own development in wisdom, stature, and favor establishes a pattern for believers: spiritual maturity requires intentional growth in understanding and practice. Practical areas where wisdom proves essential are listed clearly — relationships, dating, marriage, parenting, finances, career decisions, and self-talk — with concrete illustrations about attitudes, speech, and prudent budgeting. The teaching urges replacing reactive, short-sighted choices with measured, Scripture-informed decisions so life’s outcomes align with God’s purposes. An invitation calls those not in right relationship with Christ, or those seeking renewed commitment, to receive or recommit to Jesus; prayer is offered for that decision. The conclusion reaffirms a promise to return to the topic of wisdom for further teaching and encourages the congregation to pursue God’s guidance for daily living.
``Amen? You know what wisdom would do? Wisdom abides with prudence. Wisdom abides with common sense. Common sense says, I can't afford this. Common sense says, there's no way this works in our budget and gives us any freedom, any liberty in case something goes wrong, and you can always count on something going wrong. So why why wisdom says, let's buy the lesser or let's fix what we got and forget about impressing, come on, Tom, Dick, and Harry. Amen? Amen.

You need wisdom to be wise in the choices you make when you're make getting into relationships, when you're choosing who you're gonna hang with. You know why? Because the people you hang with are the people you're gonna become like. Oh, no. I'll influence them. Okay. But I'm just gonna tell you that the Bible says bad company corrupts good manners. Amen? You hang with the dogs, you're gonna get fleas. Amen?

My people are destroyed because life is so hard. No. You know what he says? My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge. They don't know. Since they don't know, they can't walk in wisdom. And since they can't walk in wisdom, the enemy takes all kind of advantage of their life. So the person who walks in the wisdom of God experiences, watch this, God's presence, God's power, God's blessing, and God's favor.

So you can't live the life that you're meant to live or go where you're meant to go in life or do the things that god has called you to do in life without wisdom, the wisdom of god. Because, see, without the wisdom of god, you'll just keep messing your life up and it'll keep you from being the person god wants you to be. It'll keep you from enjoying the life that god wants you to enjoy and it'll keep you from accomplishing all the wonderful things that you could have accomplished if you did just walked in more wisdom. Amen? Amen.

That way, we can live the life that he has paid the price for us to live. Jesus said, I've come that you might have life, have it more abundantly. How come I'm not living that life? Well, are you growing in wisdom and in maturity? Are you growing in those things? If you're not growing in those things, you can't sit there and complain because you're not enjoying the abundant life.

Maybe you're not getting it. That don't work. You're using man's wisdom. You ain't gonna talk to me like that, bless God. You can bless God in that if you want, but he ain't gonna bless you while you're doing it. Amen. You know when he's gonna bless you? When you stop doing it your way and start doing it his way. I said, god, how can I turn our marriage around? Remember, I've told you this. He said, be kind to your wife.

And so let's get going today. And the first thing I want you to realize about the wisdom of god is is that there's only two ways to walk in this life. There's only two ways. There's not three. There's not four. There's two, and that's wisely or unwisely. And throughout the scriptures, god admonishes us. He encourages us, challenges us, possibly even commands us if you would. I know as his as our father, he it's certainly a great desire in his heart that we choose because you do have to choose to live wisely.

Having a nasty attitude, a negative attitude about it is not gonna turn it around. You need to have faith. Faith is an attitude. So in that moment when things aren't going right, I choose to have a faith filled attitude that says, we will overcome this. We will be victorious over this. God will meet our needs in this thing. Amen?
