Not only are you to walk in a manner that's worthy externally in how you live, but you are to manage your stinking thinking, so to speak. Keep those rotten thoughts at bay the best you can. Take them to the Lord in prayer and leave them there the best you can. This is how Paul said, I die daily, not just externally to serve Christ, but also to harness his mental state and to harness his emotional state. [00:07:00] (28 seconds)

Most people draw a line in the sand when it comes to loving others if it costs them something, especially if it's emotional turmoil, especially if it comes with being reprimanded or if it comes with being chewed out or some ugly conversation or something that's disrespectful. You disrespect me, I cut you off and cut you out of my life. Christ didn't do that. [00:09:25] (25 seconds)

And so, your goodness, it's good of you to be a blessing to someone who doesn't deserve your affection or blessing or funds or whatever. That's good of you. That's what it's referring to. But it's also a moral goodness in that are you good as in the likeness of God and His moral character. So, children of light produce those things. And then as well, they produce righteousness, which is character conduct. [00:47:26] (27 seconds)

And so, Paul, you think of him as a bold brother going all over the known world to spread the gospel. He's unstoppable. He'd probably line up in front of all the prophets of Baal and do like Elijah did and just preach the gospel, right? Well, he's needing prayer to be bold. And perhaps we also should be transparent with one another and say, I'm going evangelizing. [00:53:51] (25 seconds)

Let our feet not run into darkness. Let our minds not dwell in darkness. Let our hearts not be captivated with the darkness. Lord, I pray that you would help us to invest our heart, soul, mind, and strength in you and live as children of light. If anyone here has never been saved, may they have seen today what a true child of God lives like in the light. [01:00:34] (21 seconds)

I pray, Father, that they would come to Christ, the lost would come to you and be saved, and that they not only would be saved, but they would continue to walk with you in the light of your word and to be sanctified gradually and to see you removed from their life, all the sinful. Deeds of darkness, little by little by little, as they conform into your image. [01:01:30] (21 seconds)
