“``How do we then live moment by moment? Because the will of the lord is more about the lord than it is about me or you. I'm just part of it. And so remember our takeaway, your steps count. Make sure that everything in your life is moving in a direction that by day by day, step by step, that you are making the will of the Lord known. Avoid being foolish. Seek the wisdom that God gives. Buy back the time. Watch those time wasters. being senseless. Instead, live for the gospel's sake and not your own. And walk in a way that is an accurate portrayal of Christ like walk in a very dark and self absorbed world.”

“Put away the lust and put on the new man that God has designed you to be through Jesus Christ. And that then brings us to chapter five. Therefore, again, walk in love. This is the same love that Jesus had for you. Quit doing the things that destroy trust. Live in truth. And then chapter five and verse eight, walk as children of the light. You're not in the dark anymore. You're not blind. You're not shortsighted. You have truth in your heart. Walk in a way that expresses the goodness of Christ and what is right and what is true.”

“Why is it that we only really measure time when we understand that there's a health crisis and time might be fleeting? Why don't we live as an with as an understanding group of people that recognizes that we have not been given any guarantee that we have a tomorrow? Why don't we use the time we have today? But what is the opportunity that we have to do with this time that god has given to us? And all of these things that Paul has been reminding us of comes to this point. It's like this is a a significant moment inside of the book of Ephesians that we have an opportunity to live as fulfilled and content as Christ can make us, that we live as bright as Christ has made us, that we live as children of God in this universe, that we live as people who are waiting on an inheritance that's not found in what can be gained here upon this earth.”

“Now, think about that when we come to the book of Ephesians and we come to Ephesians five. This whole section is about this accurate, precise, careful walk. How will you walk in life? How will you live? Because this is real world living of the reality of our faith. And so, here's our takeaway. As we're going through this thought this morning, I want you to hold on to this thought to make your steps count. In life, your path matters. People watch your reactions. They watch your actions. They are looking for something to validate your claims or to nullify them.”
