#SinIsThin
“little things that you can come back to. Right? The the first one I'm gonna give you is one that I come back to over and over and I'm gonna give you three phrases. This first one is one I come back to all the time. The first phrase I wanna give you is simply this. is thin. Say it with me. Is thin. By thin I mean shallow, empty, can't satisfy. It starts easy and wide. And just I just kinda graph it and feel good, feels real good. And then it gets thinner and thinner and more and more shallow. It demands more and more of you and your time, your energy, your life. Sin is thin. It cannot deliver on what it promises. There is no life in sin. There is no life in darkness. It is corrupting and destructive and death.”

#SavedByHisLove
“He loves you so much. He goes to the cross to set you free from sin and death forever ever, amen. He loves you so much. He laid down his life. Sin sin and death might not have the last word of your life for my life. Your mistakes, not the last word of your life for my life. Your regrets, not the last word of your life for my life. Your pride, your arrogance, your foolishness, your wickedness, not the last word of your life or my life. He loves you so much. He goes to the cross to wash away all sin, to pluck you out of darkness into his light. And if you've not yet said yes to that gracious invitation, today is your day, your time to rise and shine and give God the glory. We're so glad you're here.”

#LightIsLifeSource
“Temptation always leads to devastation, even if it doesn't look like it initially. And what happens is we dance with temptation, don't we? We we dance with temptation rather than rebuke temptation. We dance with temptation. We think about it, kind of ponder it. We let it kind of, like, kind of talk to us and sing out a song of rest, and we don't rebuke it with the real reality that temptation always leads to devastation. That's the truth of the matter. The last the last one I wanna give you is simply this. Light is life. Say it with me. Light is life. God is life. In him in him is all hope. In him is all glory. Hey, listen. You need healing. God's the healer. You need salvation. God's the savior. You need hope. He's the source of all hope. You need joy. Source of all joy. You need peace. Source of all peace. You need wisdom and guidance direction. All that belongs to God. That's all God's property that only exists in the light. And the light is the life the life of God. Listen, my friends. Some of you this morning are up to your up to your eyeballs in some sin pattern you've been in for a long time.”

#ConfessDontCoddle
“Why waste? Listen, God made you to do way more important things. Don't waste your life minimizing, justifying your sin. I made a mistake. Please forgive me. What can I do to fix it? The man, some people and some of you are like this would rather die than admit that you sinned. And scripture says death is exactly what happens to you. You refuse to acknowledge your sin. You die a thousand little deaths all along the way. And in the end you die forever. Why would you waste your life? Why would you waste your life pretending you haven't sinned? Minimizing, just fine, rationalizing, excusing. When god has literally done everything he can to pour out forgiveness for you, to rescue you, not excuse you, to rescue you in this life and to eternity.”

#MadeForHoliness
“There's no lying with God. There's no deceit in God. There's no mixed motives with God. He is always, always, always pure and holy. Holy means set apart. In other words, God is set apart from the corruption of this world. That's really good news because you and I weren't made for corruption. We were made for the light. We were made for the light. So thank God that he is light because that's what we were made for. Thank God that he is light because you were created for light. Thank God that he's holy. We don't think of holiness as good news, but it is really good news because that's what we're made to be. There is no eternal happiness without eternal holiness. And God says, I'm gonna make you holy even if I had to sacrifice my own son to do it.”

#JesusLightForAll
“Jesus is the light of all people. Not just a few people. Not just if he kinda works for you. Not just if he kinda like some of you are into that kind of thing. Some of you like Jesus. Some of you don't. He is the light of all people. Every single man, woman, child was made for the light of Christ. God's light poured into Jesus. Light has come near. One of the ancient creeds declares that Jesus was God from God, true God from true God, light from light. That Jesus himself is the light, and he draws near to you and to me. Really good news. The light is not far off. It's not like from a distance. Nothing like that. It is a it is a it is a drawing near kind of light because he does not the God who created you doesn't wanna leave you floundering in the darkness.”

#RejectDarknessEmbraceLight
“All of us, all of us, all of us, we're cultivating a disdain for the darkness and a love for the light. Simply with these kind of three phrases to help you cut through the allure of it. Could you repeat these with me one more time? All three of them. Sin is thin. Temptation leads to devastation. Light is life. Finally,”

#StopPlayingSinTwister
“You ever see someone play sin twister? Like, they made a mistake, they've done something terrible, and they will never ever ever admit it. They will excuse it, they'll minimize it, they'll justify it, they'll rationalize this, that, that, all the kind of thing. Right? They are playing sin twister. Anything to avoid saying, I made a mistake. Please forgive me. Let's fix it. It's way simpler to say. I made a mistake. Please forgive me. Let's do what I can to fix it. But some of us waste so much of our lives doing sin twister.”
