#SpiritLedRelationship
“``Being filled with the spirit is not him getting more of you getting more of him, but him getting more of you. So friends, as we walk daily with the Lord, I trust that we will have a longing to be close to God in a relationship with God, And the Holy Spirit is the one who often will speak to us through the word of God, through our conscience that's shaped by the word of God, and we will think about things that he wants us to do. Think about ways to live our life and to live our life with character qualities as opposed to what the world looks at and says from the outside is the way we should be.”

#KeepInStepWithSpirit
“Keep in step with the spirit. Keep in step with the spirit. As the spirit of God calls you to be a certain way, he he'll never call you to be evil. He'll never call you to be self centered. He'll never call you to be seeking your own pleasures. He will call you to be different. He'll call you to be new and refreshing. He'll call you to be a kind of person that is filled by the Holy Spirit.”

#DailySpiritFilling
“Another way is the Greek term be being filled. In other words, it doesn't just happen once at the moment of your conversion, but daily. Be being filled. Walk with God. Walk with the Holy Spirit. Let the Holy Spirit shape your inner life. Even if you're not all together today, there's a day coming when you'll grow in your your consistency there. So our application by the scriptures today is this. The spirit filled life is a daily surrender that produces a Christ like character and a joyful obedience.”

#TransformationOverPerformance
“Okay. Third one is bear the fruit of the spirit. A beautiful challenge here, and I'm gonna be almost ready to close here. But choose character over charisma, transformation over performance. Look at people and yourself as the kind of character qualities that you have as opposed to the charisma you can put off or show to others. And look at people that have character even if the the more charismatic people are the ones who would draw more attention because they're popular. Transformation over performance. Am I transformed from the inside out? Do I look at people by look at their transformation in their life. And they may be quiet people. They may not be the center of attention, but they have a transformation of who they are.”
