#ServeWithLove
“You're not here for yourself, but get you get your nose out your head. Get your nose out your mind. Put your nose back where it belongs going forward and look and with your spiritual eyes wide open and see the needs of the people around you and start serving them. Because when you do that, you serve others. It's an act of love. Amen? The Christ like love that shows through us. Amen? Now that doesn't mean to be a sucker.”

#ServantLeadership
“Here it was. Jesus did not feel that he, as lord, he came to do not his will, but his father's will. And what did he do? He came as a servant. We need to understand today that you wanna have some resiliency in life. Get out of your head and stop thinking about your problems and start helping someone else. Calvary, listen to me. The secret to Calvary Virginia Beach is this, when and for for sixty five years or however long it's been, this church has been a beacon for people that are broken. church has let people come in that most churches would run off. Because when we do that and those of us that are mature in Christ will live our faith and tell our stories, people can be restored, people can be healed, and the church as far as the kingdom of God, will grow. Amen.”

#FaithAndStudy
“And I'm a say this, and you can search it out, you'll hear some of this next week. The battle belongs to the lord. Amen? Amen. Faith is the foundation of resiliency. Faith is the foundation of resiliency. Where is your faith? When you enact that, when you live by that faith. Amen? And you'll allow and the only way you can do it is get into a bible study. Look. There is no reason for anyone not to go on Sunday morning to a Sunday school class. Not in this church because if you can't physically come, get with pastor Angelo. Hey, you say, but I'm busy in the morning. Turn it up loud and listen. So you gotta do, blank out your camera, turn it up, and listen”

#LiveTheWord
“When you allow the power to work and you trust god to be all powerful, then if you preach the word of god, he says it won't come back void. If you teach the word of god, if you live the word of god, it's not gonna come back void and watch him change the lives. Amen. Amen. There you go. You don't have to judge people that away. That takes all judgment and puts it back on Christ. Amen? We don't have to do Christ's job. We need to be instruments of who need to be his eyes, his mouthpiece, his arms of a place of grace to the human race around us. That doesn't mean laying down, but that means you come to the cross. You're welcome to come to the cross, the foot of the cross, but then we expect you to change. Amen. Can I get an amen? Amen.”

#PrayForClarity
“When we pray, prayer will strengthen you and give us clarity. Instead of us leaning to our own understanding, when we talk to God, it will give us clarity about a situation. I have people that call me and say this and this and this happened in my life, and I say pray. Stop. Pray. Sometimes, I take mama Nancy down south to the fruit stand and she'll remind me, just pray. You know how mamas do.”

#PersistentPrayer
“We see that persistence in prayer. There is a difference between being persistent and then taking the same words and being vain repetition. Amen? There is a difference. When we want something, when we know it's God's will, we're living in God's will, and we're praying, there are times that we need to be persistent in prayer. There are times that we need to go to the Lord and we need to be persistent.”

#SurrenderAndTrust
“Do you trust the lord with everything? And maybe you need to get on the altar and you need to say, lord, am I trusting you with everything in my life, in every aspects of my life? One. Then you may need to go to the lord and say, lord, forgive me for not talking to you and praying like I ought. Help me to pray. Bring the lord's prayer into my heart and allow me to start praying like you would have me pray and talk to you. Father, I wanna hear your voice. Let it be a two way conversation. Maybe that starts today, but you have to surrender. And then there may be one that doesn't know Jesus Christ as your lord and savior, and I'm a say this to you. The Bible says, god loved you. You said, but you don't know what I've done. I don't need to know. He does, and he still loves you anyway. Amen. Fact, not fiction.”

#InnerFortitude
“I think we need to understand that we have to take control of our lives sooner or later. Can I get an amen? Amen. And taking control of our lives means that we're gonna do if you're saved, born again, and you know Jesus Christ as your lord and savior, there has to be a time that you say, I'm no longer gonna live at this address. am a child of god. Amen? I want to take what is the best example that I could find in the Bible? That best example, of course, is Jesus Christ. Amen? Amen? So let's look at the word of God, if you will. And the title of this message, inner fortitude. Now you look that up in a dictionary, that fortitude, and you'll understand that is inside of you, the strength that it's gonna take to be able to get through tough times. Amen? We need to have men and women with some fortitude. Amen?”
