#identityInChrist
“``The world calls you failure. The world calls you divorced. The world calls you an addict. The world calls you unwanted. The world calls you weak. And Jesus says, I will write my name on you. The identity debate is settled forever in this text. I will write my name on you. You will be identified as a citizen of heaven.”

#unshakableFuture
“Just like the church in Philadelphia, Jesus knew that they were scarred from something, a traumatic experience in their life, and Jesus wrote this to the church instead of just saying, I'll stop the earthquakes. I'll stop the shaking. I'll stop the issue. He says, I will make you a pillar, and you never have to leave again. I will make you strong. What an incredible promise from Jesus. Jesus isn't promising them or us an easier life. He's promising us an unshakable future.”

#faithfulnessFirst
“He will never ask you for something you don't have, but he will always ask you what you do have so that you can move forward. Listen. Give Jesus your little, and and he will make it much in every area of your life. He still specializes in making little things great. He's still in that business. And God doesn't need your strength. All he needs and wants is your faithfulness, your faithfulness in him.”

#holdFastToTruth
“But the world around us, the culture says that we should live a life of compromise. It's okay. There's always a gray area. Jesus tells us to hold fast. Don't compromise. holding on to what is true. The world tells us, keep quiet. Don't ruffle anybody's feathers. Don't say something that might offend someone. Jesus says, don't deny my name. Don't hold back from speaking my name. The world around us says, just give up. You're never gonna make it. The odds are too insurmountable. Don't do it. Quit. Jesus says to hold on. Hold tight to the things that you know to be true.”
